Guest Reviews
- mitchell (10/5): Pictures don’t do it justice, fantastic place, great hosts -
- Liz (10/5): Just the treat we all needed. - Audible gasps of appreciation on arrival! We were a diverse party, and the space suited all shapes, sizes and species (we had 2 dogs). We took the Smithy, Retreat and the main barn and each were elegant, comfortable and easy to live in. It was special, but robust enough that it could handle cooking for crowds, exuberent, kids, 2 big dogs and general family mayhem.
Phillipa could not have been more welcoming, helpful and accommodating. What lovely people!
Watching the lambs gambolling while the sun set from the hit tub was truly excellent. Nothing. But avoid Derby city. It is a hole. Ashbourne is lovely, Dovedale is nearby and beautiful (albeit busy when the sun's out) and Hollington itself has a great pub that sells an awsome array of pies and pub food. But do NOT go to Derby!
