- Gareth101 (10/5): - Lovely cottage in a great location, not too far from the car park (£1.60 for all day & night)
Cottage very clean and well kept.
Great communication.
Will gladly stay here again, happy to highly recommend this fabulous cottage. Only thing that seemed to be missing was a bread knife for the locally baked artisan bread

- CATHERINE (10/5): Second visit to this property - Close to town centre Nothing
- Philip (9/5): Excellent location for visiting Barnard Castle. - The cottage is in an excellent location right in the centre of Barnard Castle. It is reached by a narrow alleyway so it is very quiet. I particularly liked the small enclosed garden which got sun in the early afternoon. The kitchen was very well equipped and the hot water for the shower excellent. There is nothing really not to like. I was out each day so just needed a base.
- Dawn (9/5): Superb - I booked the trip for my daughter for her 30th birthday to enjoy as a couple and two dogs . . Everything that the cottage advertised was spot on . It was clean comfortable and well maintained my daughter wanted to bring the bed home as it was so comfortable . The location was ideal for the town and for the dog walks that they did . It had a huge bath with a good supply of hot water and the property itself was lovely and warm when the heating was on . The garden was ideal to keep the dogs safe and even though parking wasn't directly outside the property it was close enough to not be a problem . It was so kind of the hosts as well to provide a cake and bottle of prosecco as a birthday gift . A lovely gesture . All in all I would highly recommend a stay here . There were a couple of things here and there but in all fairness to say anything bad would be nitpicking as I would still give a very high nine out of 10

- Stacey (10/5): We loved our stay and would definitely stay again. - The yard was great with the outdoor seating. We played games in the garden and the dog was able to run around with it being enclosed. We love our cottage stays as it’s literally home from home. The beds were so comfy. We all ate our meals at the table which was lovely. It’s an ideal location as everything is right on the doorstep. There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property or our stay.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Lovley comfortable home,everything just right,very homley N/A
- Catherine (10/5): Had a great weekend and will return to this little gem - Perfect location easy access to town and had a secure back yard for my dogs Nothing
- Stephanie (9/5): Lovely Cottage - A nicely appointed and well equipped cottage central to everything Castle Barnard has to offer. We had a lovely stay. No phone signal but the WIFI was good. Nice bottle of wine on arrival. Very accommodating hosts. We liked everything if I have to comment on anything it would be that the bed is very large and I kept banging my shins when walking around it (it is very comfortable though). The glasses hadn't been cleaned properly by the previous occupants so we stuck them through the dishwasher (no biggie).
- Barbara (9/5): Superb - Great wee cottage great loction would highly recomend it 😀 👍

- Paula (10/5): Perfect!! - Great cottage in Central location with outdoor space for a nice day. Had everything needed. Lovely stay. Thank you 😊 Quite a deep bath in bathroom with high sides - elderly mother could not access bath or shower as too difficult to get in/out. Unfortunately something we had not considered.

- Abigail (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location and the interior is decorated lovely. Instructions on how to locate the cottage and use anything inside are clear.
- Leslie (9/5): Had a great stay, Phil was very helpful sorting out the wifi. Happy to recommend the property. - Very central location. Good facilities and spacious rooms. Nice terrace with seating. Comfy bed. Very quiet for the centre of town. Nowhere to hang wet bath towels. They didn't really dry over the banisters. Would have been good to have instructions for dishwasher or at least a handy guide. Different makes all have different icons.
- Caroline (8/5): Relaxing - Great location, reasonably priced No corkscrew
Could do with a small bin in bathroom
