El desayuno era muy falto de opciones y tiene el peor café que he tomado. Para el pago tuvieron montón de problemas para hacerlo en USD por no tener cambio.

Tuve la suerte de tener un upgrade al mismo precio. La habitación privada es grande, con sitio para guardar de todo, baño cómodo, buena lencería. Salgo muy contento.

• Tarcísio (10/5): - Localização muito boa, dois quarteirões da área principal da cidade. Calefação muito boa, 2 graus de temperatura na rua e dava pra ficar só de shorts dentro do quarto. Café da manhã simples porém bom. Quando cheguei o quarto estava livre e me deixaram entrar no quarto umas 3 horas antes do horário de checkin. O chuveiro estava bem quente apesar de a vazão não ser das melhores e demorar um pouco pra esquentar

The breakfast had a lot of variety, and best one we have had so far. Room was big and well heated. Kitchen was hard to use, shower was not good (pressure, temperature, and space!). The sheets smelt clean but there was hair around the pillows and in the sheets when we got there. At this price, we would expect better

• Gerrit (9/5): Ein gutes Hostel, das seinen Zweck erfüllt - Wir haben das Hostel für eine Nacht für die Weiterreise vom Flughafen in El Calafate ausgewählt. Das Team war super nett, zuvorkommend und top organisiert. Die Kommunikation lief super. Das Zimmer war eher einfach ausgestattet, hatte aber ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Positiv ist zudem die ruhige und zugleich zentrale Lage, Restaurants sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

• Carolyn (8/5): - The team here are amazing, they gave us great advice on how to do the glacier ourselves, as well as had plenty of information on tours you could do.. The breakfast was great and our room lovely. They also have a good kitchen with everything you need to make a meal yourself. The location is also perfect, 5 mins walk to the town, and a 15-20 min walk to the bus station if you are doing the glacier yourself. The sound proofing between rooms is really poor, I think this might be a thing in Calafate though, having seen a few buildings going up. But overall we loved this place, and would happily stay there again

• Jan (9/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Hostal Schilling! - Zentral und doch ruhig- nur wenige Gehminuten von der Hauptstrasse entfernt an der jede Menge Restaurants, Cafe‘s und Touranbieter sind. Zimmer hatte sogar einen kleinen Ofen den wir am ersten Abend tatsächlich gebraucht haben. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Gutes Frühstück mit frischem Obst und mit relativ viel Auswahl. Nur die heisse Milch hat gefehlt beim Frühstück für den perfekten Cafe con Leche 😉

The room and bathroom were adequate. A greater variety of food items with protein other than eggs, would have been great. For example, peanut butter. I brought my on jar of peanut butter and used it during my stay.

The kitchen was a bit old and needs a microwave. You're not supposed to use it before 10am which means you can't make lunch in the morning before a day trip.

Our bedroom and private bathroom felt more like a hotel than a hostal. Loved the public areas - great murals, sofas that were comfortable and inviting and 2 outdoor areas to relax in. Breakfast was wonderful with eggs included?! Lovely! And the staff - Ramiro, Laura and Cecilia were absolutely awesome!! The only thing we missed or would have wanted was a microwave in the kitchen.

• Chengappa (9/5): - Proximity to city center. Rooms were quite old and breakfast area was very disorganized. Bread in one corner of the room jam in another corner. Bowls in one corner of the room cereals in another so there’s quite a hike to do before u collect ur breakfast haha. Hopefully it can all be placed together for efficiency when most tour companies are trying to pick up guests by 7 am for the tours.

Good location, just a quick walk away from the main street. Quiet for the night and warm, cosy room. The breakfast was nice, and the staff was very helpful with tips, arranging taxis, storing luggage. Would definitely come back! Nothing to complain about.

Me ayudaron a cuadrar el tour al glaciar, muy amables. Me encanto la experiencia. la persiana de frio no bajaba, pero afortunadamente el calentador funciono perfecto
