Despite the nice location, the smell, dust, discomfort and inhospitality prevailed for all 6 nights for me and my husband. Unfortunately.
Upon entering the building, we noticed an unimaginable smell as well as parts of orthopaedic aids, furniture and scattered papers on the floor. The carpet in the hallway to the apartment on the third floor (no elevator) was very dusty with some rubbish. Upon entering the room, we found traces of something spilled on the wall while the carpet on the floor was full of dust too. As a result, we both sneezed during the time spent in the room. Also, the floor creaked and was uneven (higher on one side of the room).
There was no lock on the door, the handle was hanging on a piece of metal, and the door itself couldn’t be closed completely since the wind from the opening window was opening it occasionally. Also, the door on the wardrobe couldn’t be opened properly, so we stored all our clothes on one side only. The two lockers / cabinets / nightstands that were on the pictures were not in the room when we arrived.
The mattress was very old and we felt every wire in it. Because of that, we slept very badly during our entire stay. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable too, so we didn't even sleep on them. The bed linen was like sandpaper on one side.
One of the worst things were the window frames that were full of mold and dirt, on the outside and partially on the inside. There were also no curtains but a cloth that you need to place it above the window yourself.
The shared bathroom was not as dirty as the room, but there were traces of mold on tiles inside the bathing tub. Upon arrival, we each received the same face and body towels. After a few days, we asked for a clean replacement which the girl did, but still gave us only 1 big towel for each. (Review part 2/2)
At one point, the WIFI was down. I texted the girl who rented the place to help us out. When I didn’t receive the answer in more than an hour, I knocked on the door and she told me that the WIFI is working perfectly fine. Only when I insisted that the router should be reset, did the WIFI start working again, but the girl did not believe me in the first place and insisted that it worked. And not only that, I asked her whether she received my text. She told me no and that it was another number, not hers. However, it was hers because she texted me back when we announced our arrival.
Moreover, before leaving the apartment on the last day, we asked if we could leave our suitcases in the hallway and pick them up at 4 pm, and that is when we would return the keys. The room was empty and ready to be cleaned for other guests. She was ok with that. Arriving at 4 pm, we were greeted by another woman who spoke no English (she communicated using Google Translator) and who criticized us for where we were. Afterwards, the girl who rented the place deleted the messages she sent.
Finally, we asked whether we could use the toilets real quick before we leave, and the girl who rented the place said no and that we can do it at the airport.
Coming from a place where hospitality is very common and cherished (Dalmatian coastline), we believe that the women who obviously both rent the place should consider working more on responsibility towards guests and the room, which should be completely renovated and the common corridor cleaned.
- Nada (1/5): Disaster - Only outside view worse worse worse in everything, the value of amount you paid in a vary old teared blanket or hot room no pillows batter to pay it on other 3 star or 4 star hotel.
I was realy shocked in the behaviour of hostess and the things been said in the specification like they haveA.C. when you go the Ac is only open Window.
A bad experience i reach at 12 night and left 5 mornning. Even Water are not there to serve. vary funny enviroment 3 floor to hold your bag with you regardless how heavy it's.
