- 美菜 (10/5): 奄美に帰ってきた感覚にさせてくれるお宿❤️ - 3回目のリピート利用です🥰 とてもとてもセンスの良いお宿で、すべてのものが過不足なくあります。 お部屋は寛げますし、一緒に行ったメンバーと離れのリビングでゆっくり歓談する事もできます。 一緒に行った子ども達も大好きなお宿です。 大所帯でお邪魔したので、色々ご迷惑もかけているかもしれませんが、いつも暖かく出迎えてくださり、感謝です。 そう、何よりもスタッフの方々が素敵でまた行きたいな、と思っちゃいます😍 またよろしくお願いします！ 特にありません。
- 美菜 (10/5): 最高でした！ - お部屋は北欧スタイルで落ち着いていて寛げますが、離れのリビングにはキッチンやアレクサ、キッズスペースもあり、みんなでくつろいでごはんなど食べる事ができます。 他の宿泊者様がいても、ここに集まってくるだけあって波長がなんとなく似通った方が多いのか、すぐうちとけることができます。 キッチンには鍋や食器などいろいろあり、とても使いやすくなっています。 一緒に行った仲間達もここがとても気に入りました♪ また来ます❣️ 特にありません。
- AYAKO (10/5): 家族連れOK、一人旅・ダイバーにもオススメ - 空港至近で、お部屋も共有スペースもとても清潔です。洗濯機は無料、洗濯物やダイビング器材を干せる場所もあり、ダイバーにはとても有難いお宿です。リビングスペースも一通り必要なものは揃っており、コーヒーや黒糖焼酎が無料でいただけるのも嬉しいです。リビングスペースの端にはキッズスペースもあり、他のファミリーの方とゆったりした時間が過ごせるのも、ゲストハウスならではです。夜は満天の星空が見えました。是非また利用させてください。 特にありませんが、強いて言えば駐車が少し難易度高めなことでしょうか…

- RUMI (9/5): 島の”日常”を愉しむことができました。 - 空港から近い笠利地区の集落の中で暮らすように滞在することができました。kuuという和室に泊まったのですが窓から隣の空き地の様子が分かり満天の星空を確認してから外に出ることができました。プラネタリウムと同じぐらいの数の星を見ることができました。 感激しました。 キッチンが「離れ」にあったので靴を履き替えて移動するのがちょっとだけ面倒くさかったです。元々一軒家だったので他の方が廊下を歩く音などが部屋まで響きました。

- nobuyasu (9/5): 素晴らしい！ - 2回目の宿泊でしたがスタッフの方の対応、宿泊施設も満足しました。特に共有スペースのダイニングキッチンは広くて食器や調理具すべて揃っており使い勝手が良かったです。 古民家をリノベーションしているのでしょうがないことですが宿泊２日目の夜真向いの部屋に宿泊されていた男性３名の会話が深夜まで続いていたようで今回同伴していた妻が寝つけられなかったことがありました。

Rooms are modern and spacious with air-conditioning and comfortable futons..Shared shower rooms are clean with plenty of hot water..Self check-in system and self service for food and beverage.(Honesty system) Communication from owners was great. Common use kitchen and lounge area with free shochu. Need a car to get to nearby shops but a great place to stay if you arrive late or have to leave early from the airport.. Nil

- 百合子 (10/5): 映画を観ながらくつろげる、まるで自宅のような宿 - オーナーさんがとても優しく親切で安心できました。(電話対応です) 今回は私たちだけの利用だったので広々と使えましたが、ゲストハウスとは思えないほどとても綺麗でした！ 冷蔵庫も使えて、近くのスーパーで食材を調達して鍋を作って食べました。 プロジェクターもあり、映画を見ながらゆっくり過ごせて最高でした。 とにかく必要なものがすべて揃っていて、とても助かりました！ お部屋もとても広くてペットフカフカで寝やすかったです♩ ないです

- Yoshiyuki (9/5): 宿は快適だったが、宿泊者マナーが残念 - 部屋も設備もきれい。離れの食堂スペースでは黒糖焼酎も自由に飲んでよいということで、楽しませてもらった。ゲストハウスの周辺は静かな場所でリラックスできた シャワーや洗濯機の使用は22時までとなっており、寝るまでは静かで快適であったが、明け方4時ごろから洗濯機や水道を使う宿泊者がおり、自室が水道の裏手だったため、うるさくて目が覚め、その後眠れなくなった。朝方の使用時間も規制をかけてほしい。
- Hiroko (10/5): 友人の家のようにくつろげる素敵なゲストハウス - 北欧風のとても素敵なゲストハウスで、ゆっくりくつろぐことができました。玄関を入ると中は穏やかな香りがしてとても癒されました。洗面所やシャワールームも落ち着いた雰囲気で居心地が良かったです。有料ですが、洗濯機と乾燥機を使うことができるのも便利でした。泊まったお部屋は間取り的に少し離れていることもあり、夜は静かに過ごすことができました。 到着後にオーナーさんに電話で周辺情報を相談すると、夕食の場所やスーパーなどを親切に教えていただき、とても役立ちました。夕食処は閉まる時間が早いので、事前に調べておいた方が良さそうです。チェックインはセルフでしたが、翌朝オーナーご夫妻に会うことができ、また色々と情報を教えていただきました。その際お薦めいただいた崎原ビーチはとても綺麗で、穏やかな波にも癒され、最高でした！ 泊まった夜はあいにく曇り空でしたが、それでも近くの港では星空と、翌朝はよく晴れて日の出を見ることもできました。機会があればまたぜひ泊まりたいと思います。 強いて言えば、夜、駐車場の区切り線が見えにくく、他の方の車もあったため、駐車に苦労したことです。
- Misaki (10/5): オシャレなゲストハウス - 和室を1人で広々使えてのんびり滞在できました。私が滞在した時は人も少なかったので交流はありませんでしたが、静かで綺麗でよかったです。 車がない滞在だったので夜ご飯はカップ麺にしましたが、ご飯屋さんに行きたい方は車で来るといいと思います。
- たっきわ (10/5): - とても清潔。快適。空港までタクシーで、５分くらい。シュノーケリングも借りられる。電話でのやりとりで、基本、スタッフと会うことはない。カップ麺やレトルト食品を無人で販売しているので、買って別棟で調理できて、食べられる。ウミチカ。静かで良く眠れた。 食事がついていなく、飲食店までかなり遠いので、レンタカーがないとめちゃくちゃ不便。 和野バス停から徒歩１０分。ｇｏｏｇｌｅに頼りました。トイレのトイレットペーパーが、スタッフオンリーのスペースにあるので、そこから取らないとない。

- Alessandro (10/5): - Fantastica guesthouse per soggiornare sulla splendida isola di Amami. A 5 minuti di auto dall’aeroporto. Abbiamo trascorso 5 piacevoli notti io mia moglie e mia figlia di 9 anni. La casa è organizzata benissimo. 4 camere con letto tatami. Docce e bagni in comune sempre pulitissimi. Zona cucina ampia e fornita di ogni attrezzatura. Proprietari e personale gentilissimi! Sicuramente ci tornerei! Consigliatissimo.

- Emily (10/5): A wonderful home away from home. Highly recommended when traveling with friends. - The property was very well equipped, conveniently located, and comfortable to stay in. If I had to find a negative point, it would be the dirt driveway area where we park our car and have to walk between the main house and kitchen space. On a wet and rainy day (for one day we were there), it got quite muddy - and we unfortunately dirtied the carpets of the rental car. It’s unavoidable unless it’s a concrete driveway. But this is the only minor not-as-positive aspect of our stay.
- Lisa (10/5): Amazing stay ♡ - The hospitality of the couple running this guesthouse is beyond imagination. They are kind and available to help. Every area of the guesthouse is clean, well furnished and has a nice smell. All the services are on point. There are big showers, the laundry area with also the dryer, the kitchen and the kids area (which is HUGE) and has plenty of games and book for kids. If I have to go back to Amami I will definitely stay here again.

I was only there for one night because it's close to the airport, but I've been told many times during my stay on Amami that it's also the best place for diving, so the location seems to be good for that! Lots of ants and you have to pay extra for towels and water, even there were no shopping facilities within walking distance.

Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. I hope you enjoy this place like I do.

- Shannen (10/5): Amazing hosts!! - The hosts were wonderful, very responsive via the booking.com app, always there if you need them, and although I try to speak Japanese via a translator app, the hosts even spoke very good English which is great! The room is very spacious, and clean, with air conditioning which works very well, and also has a wardrobe! I booked the quad Japanese room which is next to the toilet, and has a very comfy futon bed and blanket. When I arrived at the property I was greeted by the lady who came outside to meet me at my taxi (I cannot remember her name :/ ) she checked me in, showed me to my room very kindly, and showed me to the information book provided, which gives you info on the guesthouse, the family who own it, and lots of recommendations in the area for various different things, in Japanese and English! There are two modern showers, with three sinks/vanity areas which are again modern and clean. And around the corner there is a laundry area with two washers and a drier - which washed and dried my clothes very well (I’ve sometimes found that the the driers in some places aren’t all that good but this one was good!) I only spent one full day in Amami but wish I stayed longer. I asked the lady to call me a taxi for 12pm on the day to take me to the local beach, which she did and also translated for the driver who took me to the exact spot I wanted. When I came back in the evening I ate my dinner in the communal lounge/dining area which is very modern and has everything you need! On the morning I left, I could have walked to the airport but I didn’t want to carry my luggage, so I asked her to call me a taxi to which she replied “no no I’ll take you now” put on her shoes and drove me to the airport! When I asked how much she wanted for the trip she politely declined to take any money from me (I left some on her front seat of course!) A wholesome young family who have renovated their guesthouse perfectly and offer a great service to their guests!
- Nelleke (9/5): A warm welcome and a nice stay in a modern well equipped guesthouse. - A good place to stay near Amami airport. A nice room to hangout, make some food or have a drink and a chat. There are no restaurants close by, but there is a bus or a taxi to bring you there.
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very different to what I’m used to in western hotels, but it was very comfortable and I slept well on the futon. Everything was clean and attractive. The hosts are a lovely family. A short anecdote from my brief stay: As it was my first time in Japan, I asked for food recommendations and they told me about a nearby restaurant. I didn’t have enough cash but I elected to withdraw money from across the street. So I drove to the restaurant, made sure it was open and there was room for me and to my surprise I found out that I had a reservation! Kindly booked by my hosts. I then went to withdraw some cash but the ATM couldn’t recognise my card, so I went back to the restaurant with the plan to just eat lightly with the limited cash I had. Then, out of nowhere, my hosts appeared at the restaurant, somehow with the knowledge that I was struggling, and offered to cover the whole dinner for me! They are kind hearted people that will do their best to make sure you enjoy your stay. I’d highly recommend this guesthouse, more so than any other I’ve visited before.

- Consuela (10/5): Perfect stay! - Everything - impeccable, super clean, stylish, Finnish touch on decorations, simple and chic. Super big space for common area kitchen and also safe playground for kids, even nursery room! Easy to access, and all rooms are different. Lovely young couple running it. Nothing not to like!
