• Philipp (10/5): Nice beach, friendly host! - Very nice host and a perfect place on a private beach. We were served a delicious breakfast with seaview. Bathroom could be a little bit cleaner, but it was still good. Rest was perfect!

Lo bueno de su situación aislada, hace que no puedas comprar nada o ir a comer algo a algún otro sitio cercano, siempre hay que ir con TukTuk.

• Mimi (8/5): quiet stay directly at the beach - The homestay is located 10 meters away from a very clean, small stretch of sandy beach. You can literally sit on your porch and listen to the waves. The room has a traditional wood design and feels very cozy. Joseph and Jenzi are super friendly and helpful hosts. They organized a backwater tour for me, provided me with a delicious dinner and made sure I was being picked up by an autoriksha to bring me to the bus station. If you want a quiet stay directly at the beach, this is a great choice. WiFi is not very strong in the room and the bathroom's tiled walls could have been cleaner. If you have no vehicle of your own everything is far away and you have to organise a tuktuk. Communication is also a bit limited if you don't speak Malayalam.

If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, this is the perfect escape, away from the crowds and noise. One of the best things about this place is its exclusivity with only three rooms inside a small compound, you get amazing privacy and a truly intimate experience. It’s perfect for those who want to relax without disturbances. The homely food was another highlight—fresh, delicious, and cooked with love, making the stay even more comfortable. The owner’s warm and welcoming nature added to the charm, making us feel right at home. Ambience and wooden room. If you’re searching for a serene getaway with stunning views, great hospitality, and complete privacy, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to visit again!

• Field (10/5): We loved it! - We had the bungalow on the beach - it was beautiful - everything had been thought about with the design. Our own private beach really which was spotless. A great en-suite bathroom, plenty of plug sockets, air conditioning & a fan. Huge bed. We were provided with a kettle and cups & glasses. The home cooked breakfasts were delicious and always served with a smile. The garden & beach area was lovely & spotless. We ate lunch and dinner there three times & the fish curry, chicken 65, and Keralan chicken curry were all delicious, served with rice, pancakes, etc, salad or vegetables & fresh fruit. Joseph and Mary were perfect hosts, organising tuk tuks & taxis. It was really nice to see the fishermen every day going about their work. If you like peace & quiet and a lovely slow pace then Seabreeze is definitely for you! We would highly recommend this place. N/a

We enjoyed the days there, the sun, the great view, the beach for swimming, authentical meals and some nice excursions to the surrrounding area. Jency and her family were excellent and kind hosts, the room and balcony very clean. She cooked typical meals and her husband organized everything. Thank you for all !!!

• Rha (8/5): Tranquil stay in front of the sea - Lovely position and friendly host, who made every effort to make us feel at home. Breakfast was great and host arranged a takeaway dinner for us. The beach in front of the property is really nice and tranquil. Great to hear the sound of the sea from the bed... No facilities on the beach, would be great to have chairs, beds and some shade...

• Anirban (9/5): A good short stay with helpful hosts - The room is on the first floor. The room and the washroom was really clean. The house effectively has a private beach and that is super clean too. The host Joseph and his wife were helpful. I had unfortunately left my phone charger in the room. Joseph came all the way to the railway station to hand that over. He couldn't reach on time due to extreme traffic. On the next day he couriered it to my next destination. I can't thank him enough for this help. Nothing as such. The hosts did their best.

• Mark (9/5): Chillout Heaven! - We came looking for a 'chill out' location and Seabreeze was perfect. It currently has two traditional rooms facing on to a wide verandah, plus a new room being built in a separate block. Both rooms were simply appointed but comfortable, with a good size double bed and clean ensuite bathroom. The rooms look out over an almost deserted stretch of very clean beach: pretty much the only other users were local fishermen. By afternoon, and through the evening, the verandah had the most wonderful sea breeze. As we had no transport, we took most of our meals on the verandah at Seabreeze, and the Keralan home cooking was delicious: Joseph and Jency were also happy to accommodate veg and non-veg options. They also arranged transport to Alleppey/Allappuzha so we could explore there, and then a sunrise kayaking excursion with the very local Dream Catcher Kayaking. Joseph and Jency are great hosts! There was nothing to dislike! Of course, as Seabreeze's guests are mostly Indian, we - India-resident Brits - had some unfamiliar requests but we always managed to get everything sorted...thanks to Joseph!
• Meenakshi (10/5): Our perfect stay in Kerala! - The best view, great hosts and such a nice comfortable stay. Our stay at Seabreeze Marari was the highlight of our holiday. One can view the ocean from their room, wake up to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. The beach is nearly private except for a few fishermen doing their job, which is also a nice sight to watch. The food was also good and very reasonably priced. The hosts are wonderful people who took care of all our needs, bookings, sightseeing requirements, upon request. We would love to stay here again, and again. Everything was perfect!

Joseph, the host went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were provided with homemade meals and transport on request. Can't fault anything.

We especially enjoyed spending evenings at the private beach, watching the beautiful night unfold. I will definitely recommend your lovely homestay to friends and family. The mattress and blanket could be more comfortable, as they could use some improvement. The water pressure in the shower and tap was quite low, so enhancing that would also make a difference.

From the home cooked food to helping us acquainted to the neighborhood, everything was perfect. The room was clean and well maintained. The washroom was clean and so were other services. The view from room is mesmerizing. Perfect getaway for a couple or if you want some solace. Oh, by the way they prepared us some delicious home cooked food at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend visiting Sea Breeze Marari for its one of a kind experience. P.S. You have an entire beach to yourself.

Seabreeze Marari is an amazing location, beautiful sea-facing rooms and a host who would go above and beyond to meet our expectations. It has a private beach, no intrusions from outside and just calm quite serene atmosphere. We can put a price to the room but we cannot put a price to what we wake up to - the view, the feel and the vibe. Being honest, the host Mr. Joseph Sherin, is constantly working on how he could improve facilities for the guests. He was taking feedback and having an open mind towards suggestions. I guess this approach and attitude goes a very long way. There is not much to write about, in this area.

• Geoff (10/5): Hidden Paradise - Seabreeze is a little hidden paradise. Host family are welcoming, warm and cheerfully friendly. Breakfast was delightful, freshly prepared and different every morning. We opted to have evening meals there, every evening was a different local Kerala flavour wonderfully prepared and presented by the host family. Room was clean comfortable and peaceful with a great balcony overlooking the sea, wonderful wave sounds through the night. Seabreeze is a very quiet escape, overlooking a small peaceful beach, it is isolated within a quiet friendly local community and within walking distance of a few stores and bakeries. It is a short tuk-tuk or local bus ride away from Marari beach. The host family went out of their way to make our stay so wonderful. We hope to return soon. Nothing

• Anjali (9/5): Exciting stay! - The stay has been so beautiful, the seashore noise was really excited and memorable. Rooms are super hygienic and the local food in breakfast is also super tastier. If you are okay with a little isolated place, where you have to travel 15kms from the town, this place is a must visit. Evening and morning views of the beach, directly from your balcony, shore noise while awaking up in morning, & the beachside long walks can definitely be marked in.

Sharan and his family were too good to welcome us and make us feel good at their own home. The food they provided is finger licking.
