• Kris (10/5): Furnas Millhouse is absolutely wonderful and felt like home. - Everything! We were welcomed by the owner and she gave us a brief tour of the unit which is in a perfect location to explore Furnas. She provided a magnificent welcome basket of local goodies that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved how it felt like “home”. The kitchen was stocked incredibly well. It has two balconies and three bathrooms-wow! Lots of space! There is nothing we didn’t like! It was perfect and will be hard to ever find a rental this nice on future trips.

We were very grateful for the generous welcome pack. The house is excellently located. It has a fabulous terrace and private garden. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
• (Mrs) Jerri (8/5): A lovely stay in Furnace in a bright, cheerful apartment! - Beautifully appointed apartment. Fresh and clean and spacious. Parking was a problem. The door to the apartment opened in to a very narrow and hard for car to navigate "tunnel" and the guest iww so expected to park in the tunnel or in the garden at the end of the tunnel. It is very difficult to get in or out from the busy street in front of apsrtment.
• Alexander (10/5): Wohnen wie bei Freunden im Zentrum von Furnas - Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und Wohnung. Sehr sauber. Netter Empfang mit einem Korb voll lokaler Produkte. Als Basis zum Erkunden von Furnas, Lagoa das Furnas, Praia do Fogo, etc. super ideal. Vieles zu Fuß erreichbar - wir haben das Auto zwei Tage lang gar nicht gebraucht. Für sportliche Frühaufsteher kann ich einen Morgenlauf zum Pico do Ferro empfehlen um dort dann den Sonnenaufgang zu genießen. Am Abend auf der Terrasse sitzen und dem Glockspiel der Kirche lauschen. Einmal Cozido im Restaurant Tony - unbedingt reservieren - gehört natürlich zum Aufenthalt in Furnas auch dazu. Danke an Cidália für alles. -

• Michal (10/5): - Very spacious, well furnished, great location. Cidália was a very nice and helpful host. The welcome basket was very thoughtful, and let us taste some yummy local products we would normally overlook. Parking is a bit scary, unless you have a small car (very narrow passage). There is a public parking lot behind the corner that usually has some free spots, though.
• Melanie (10/5): Great place - highly recommend!! - This was a beautiful, spacious, clean home. It was perfectly situated to use as a home base on Sao Miguel. Cidelia was lovely and accommodating, even providing specific towels to use at the hot springs. I would be aware that while there is parking on-site, it is very tight and if you have anything but the tiniest car it will probably not work. We ended up parking at a small lot around the corner - probably difficult to get a spot during the day but we never had a problem returning after our days away. The other thing I would say is that if you’re booking through booking.com and you are two people needing two rooms it is important to clarify that with the host ahead of time. I was travelling with one friend and although I specified two rooms, the booking went to the host as 2 people, 1 room. Cidelia was wonderful and made up the second room once we arrived so it wasn’t a problem for us but was a hassle for Cidelia.

• Dee (7/5): - The host was very helpful and left us a lovely hamper, wines and beer on arrival- very much appreciated. The accomdation was well stocked with everything you need. The whole property was immaculate and clean. Ideal location for exploring Furnas. Nice to have a garden and terrace to ourselves. The beds and pillows were hard, so 50% of our group slept poorly. HOWEVER, the rest didn't notice! Therefore, all are subjective. However, as a seasoned traveller, if the beds are softer, they appeal to more people. We used the two garden chairs happily, both morning and at the end of the day. But for an apartment accommodating up to 6 people, more garden chairs would be good.

• Christian (9/5): Beau séjour à Furnas :) - Très bien situé. Très grand appartement, bien équipé. Belle terrasse arrière. Panier d'acceuil très bien garnis et très apprécié, merci! Légère odeur d'humidité dans l'appartement. Espace de stationnement un peu exigu. La photo extérieure sur le site représente la vue que l'on a de l'appartement et non la maison loué!
• Heather (8/5): Home from home - A spacious, comfortable house with a delightful and helpful owner a short walk from the centre of Furnas. There is even a garden which we were unable to use due to inclement weather. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful furnishings.
