• Edyta (1/5): Fatalny pobyt - Odpowiednia wielkość apartamentu, lokalizacja Wejście do apartamentu po bardzo wąskich schodach, dla starszych osób może być to uciążliwe. Łazienka duża ale w stanie fatalnym. Pod prysznicem tylko pleśń, słuchawka ma bardzo słabe ciśnienie, dla kobiet umycie włosów jest bardzo uciążliwe. Na ciepłą wodę trzeba było poczekać dłużej niż dwie minuty. Suszarka do włosów rozwalona. Sufit cały w pleśni. W pokoju bardzo zimno, klimatyzacja działa tylko przy 16-18stopniach. Na stanie tylko koce które raczej nie były prane w ostatnim czasie, było bardzo zimno. W nocy było słuchać kłótnie sąsiadów oraz słuchać i czuć ich każde wycieczki do toalety. Zapach z kanalizacji unoszący się całą noc. Ogólnie bardzo słaby pobyt.

• Raimonda (7/5): Atostogos Katanijoje - Butas puikioje vietoje, lankytinos vietos yra netoli, sekančioje gatvėje - turgus, kuriame galėsite nusipirkti daržovių, žuvies, jūros gėrybių, mėsos. Patogi dvigulė lova, butas aukštomis lubomis ir erdvus. Nauja elektrinė orkaitė, šildytuvas miegamajame. Nuotraukose butas atrodo geriau. Sulūžusios virtuvinio komplekto durelės, virtuvinės įrangos yra minimaliai, mažos išbraižytos keptuvės, nebuvo virtuvinio peilio. Virtuvėje šildytuvas nebeveikė antrą dieną, o šilto vandens laukdavome ne 2 ar 4 minutes, o ilgiau. Šeimininkas mandagiai pasiteiraudavo “kaip sekasi ar viskas gerai”, į žinutes atsakydavo po kelių parų arba iš vis reakcijos nesulaukdavome. Švara irgi itališka.

• Laura (7/5): In centro ma…. - Vicinanza alle zone pedonali con ristoranti e belle piazze Come da foto, Bagno spazioso e ben distribuito - il divano letto dove dormiva la terza persona era davvero scomodo, non da considerare come una opportunità per dormirci più di una notte -Il bagno seppur spazioso e ben suddiviso, presentava delle usure notevoli nel bordo plasticato intorno alla doccia che davano una sensazione di sporcizia -Non c’era neppure una bottiglia di acqua nel frigo -Odore generale di chiuso / muffa . Peccato perché la location è davvero centralissima - si sentivano i vicini discutere la sera tardi ( certo non colpa dei proprietari )

• Elena (7/5): - Posizione ottima, anche se il vicolo è un po’ isolato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Proprietario disponibile. Non essendoci finestre, non c’era modo di arieggiare, quindi c’era un costante odore di fogna che arrivava dalle tubature, una sera abbiamo trovato una blatta in bagno.

• Sabina (7/5): Pensavo meglio - Zona comoda al centro della città. Silenzio di notte Non c'è ne' una finestra, ne' un balcone. È presente un lucernaio molto alto in cucina e non apribile. Il palazzo è malandato e l' ultima parte di scala non è facile da percorrere per tutti.

The apartment is located in an unkempt building and there is no elevator. Also, there wasn't a single window in the room.

• Elia (6/5): Soggiorno di una notte essenziale - Sicuramente la vicinanza al centro è il suo punto di forza. Gli arredi sono carini, si nota lo sforzo nel rendere accogliente l’ambiente. La camera pur essendo molto grande la mancanza di una finestra verso l’esterno la rende abbastanza claustrofobica. Purtroppo anche la pulizia lasciava a desiderare, abbiamo trovato flaconi da albergo vuoti per terra, in bagno il pavimento, il water e un po’ tutti gli arredi presentavano macchie di sporco e di calcare. Il telecomando della tv non funzionava e usando i tasti manuali ci siamo accorti che anche la tv aveva depositato un dito di polvere. I kit di cortesia erano totalmente assenti, gli unici comfort presenti erano un phone asciugacapelli, la carta igienica e del sapone liquido in un flacone dispenser, per chi pernotta una sola notte non è proprio l’ideale, questa soluzione credo essere più adatta per permanenze a lungo termine. Check-in e check-out effettuato in totale autonomia.
• Monique (7/5): Prima voor een nacht, lekker centraal in het drukke centrum. - Lekker centraal, leuke sfeervolle kamer, keuken en badkamer. De entree, je komt toch wel in een niet zo’n frisse omgeving binnen, je moet namelijk om bij de voordeur te komen eerst via een binnenplein en smalle trap gaan. Daarnaast werkte de afstandsbediening van de tv niet, liep de douche over omdat deze vol met haren zat. Hiervoor contact gehad met de eigenaar die hier netjes op reageerde en direct een passende oplossing aanbood.

• Emiliya (4/5): Room without windows and fresh air - No windows! The room was spacious . This is not an apartment though, it is a room with a corridor which is turned into a mini kitchen. Communication with owner was very easy. Location is very good. - it does not have windows, which if I knew , I wouldn’t book (it has old window roof over the kitchen, but absolutely no air is coming) - it does not have any fresh air - building smells like mold and looks horrifying - toilet door cannot be closed

Quite a few steps and narrow at the end to get to apartment. At night the entry to the building needs a light so you can see where you are going.

• Milica (10/5): Exceptional - Residenze Florio is a perfect accomodation when visiting Catania! Its location is perfect, at the heart of the city close to the best patisserie in Catania and ALIBUS stop (the bus line connected with the airport). We where thrilled from the first moment of enetering the apartment and we enjoyed in it completely. The kitchen is especially nice and has all the utilities needed, the dishes and the spices. There is also a beautiful reproduction of the painting A girl with the pearl earring, my favorite. :) The host Giulio was also very nice and available on Whatsapp all the time, whenever we needed a help od consultation.

• Anastasiia (7/5): Good - The apartment is very beautiful and spacious, with the bathroom being particularly stunning. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay, including all the essential kitchen utensils for cooking, which was important to us. We were also pleased to find basic spices and oil available. The location is very convenient—close to cultural landmarks, transport hubs, supermarkets, and a market—yet situated on a fairly quiet street. Giulio was always available and ready to assist us when needed :) For us, it wasn't a major issue, but it might be helpful for others to know that the stairs leading to the apartment are very narrow, making it a bit tricky to manage with luggage. Also, there might be a learning curve with the front door lock as it takes some getting used to. A few areas for improvement: fixing the bathroom faucet, repairing the liquid soap dispenser, replacing the dish sponge after each guest, and using cleaning products with a milder scent. l'd also suggest considering an induction stove instead of the gas cylinder, as it feels both safer and more convenient.

• Kelly (9/5): Small cozy place - The location of the apartment was amazing. 10 min walk from the main square. A few minutes from stores and metro/bus station. The owner was very sweet, kept in touch well, and was checking up on us. (If cleaning was needed, etc). He picked us up from the airport and organised the transfer back as well as helped bring the luggage upstairs. Perfect for 2 people if you plan on being outside often. Spacious bathroom. Air-conditioning werks well and is very much needed. The kitchen was a little lacking. Not a lot of utensils, forks, knives, or spoons enough for 2 people max. The apartment is on the third floor, and the staircase is narrow . Older building, so no elevator to take suitcases up.
• Iryna (7/5): Could be better - We could check in earlier without any problems and the communication with the host was very smooth. The property looks completely tired and unwelcoming. The biggest problem was the shower which was completely out of order, the whole room got flooded and we wasted all our towels for that however the host pretended that he didn’t know about the issue. All in all it is not the best value for money.
• Julia (8/5): Lovely place for a short stay in the center of Catania - The location is excellent - right in the city center and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and options for shopping. The apartments are very spacious with high ceilings and the host is super kind and accommodating, always available to help! To reach the apartment one must climb a set of very narrow stairs, which is a little uncomfortable with big luggage. There are no windows and only a plastic roof which looks great but creates a lot of noise, especially when it rains. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner
• Giedre (6/5): Pleasant - Location is good, very clean and nice, easy check in, the owner is friendly and taking care, wifi is quick. Apartments have no windows! We have stayed for one week, and for us it was a challenge. Due to the poor air and lack of ventilation, we experienced symptoms of claustrophobia and headaches, especially in the mornings.
• Ilinca (9/5): Pleasant - Very kind staff, Giulio was really friendly, they assured transfer from the airport (20€ for 2 adults and 1 child) even though our flight was 1h late. The apartment was nice, in a really good area, the kitchen was well equipped. For breakfast we ate just across the street at a really nice bistro ( Artemisia Caffetteria Bistrò ) The bathroom had a nasty smell in the morning

The location of the apartment is close to main street. it was a bit cold, even with 2 AC turned on, we didn’t felt like they were enough/working properly.

• Bogdana (10/5): Best place to stay at in Sicily! - This was our favourite place that we stayed at in Sicily - everything from the host being incredibly attentive and welcoming, helping us and giving us recommendation and everything that we need, to the perfect location of the apartment (right next to the best street with restaurants and bars and great cafes) and on top of that the place itself is even better than the photos - the design of the bedroom is amazing and very cosy (+ the bed is great) and the bathroom is an absolute work of art! We can't wait to go back and stay longer.

Highly recommended. The guy who welcomed us was very polite and friendly. Just one small detail. There’s no any windows, but nice transparent ceiling which giving you a natural light. At night was rainy and because the ceiling is made of polycarbonate it was a bit noisy. And sounds from outside behind the main door.

The apartment is in the city center, it is very convenient to explore the city on foot, there are plenty of delicious restaurants, mini shops, and shopping centers nearby. 🪟 The view. Since the windows of the apartment face the inner courtyard, you don't hear noises of the street. 🧹The apartment was additionally cleaned in the middle of the holiday. It was nice, that we received extra towels during our stay. 🍳 Kitchen. The apartment had basic cooking tools, salt and pepper, so we could cook breakfast. 🚗 Parking. It was our first time visiting Sicily, Catania, we didn't know how the parking would be. We asked the host if he could recommend free parking. We received an offer for private parking - 25€ per night and its not in the same building. Finally, we found out by ourselves that there is public parking, where the daily price is about 10€. When asked where the host parks his car, he assured that it is just on the street. We felt uncomfortable in this situation because we didn't get the proper help from the host since we asked for the cheapest option. But if you decide to stay in this apartment, it is really easy to find a parking space near the apartment - look for blue lines parking spaces and be aware of market area (every morning there is a huge market nearby, so dont park your car there). 🪟 Although, the windows of the apartment face the inner courtyard, you don't hear noises of the street, but you don't have a nice view through the window, only the neighbors' messy balconies. The apartment has a lot of windows - in every room, but all of them face the small courtyard, there are no curtains, only shutters, it is not very pleasant to be with the shutters open, because there isn’t much privacy, as the windows of the neighbours are very close. But the apartment is not very cozy with the shutters closed. 🧹Cleanliness. Upon arrival, the apartment was not perfectly clean - the bedclothes had stains, the sink was whitewashed - it does not look very aesthetically pleasing. Certain areas of the apartment require more cleaning - shower gaskets, walls, sinks, etc. The apartment was additionally cleaned in the middle of the holiday, but after cleaning the main bed linen was not changed - as there was stains. 🔊 The walls are so thin that you can hear everything the neighbors say or do. Therefore, it was not always possible to sleep because of the noice made by the neighbors, and we also felt that we had no privacy. 🍳 Kitchen.

Check-in was smooth, the apartment was ready early so I could check earlier. The apartment is big. There's no window but there's a skylight. There was a humidity smell from time to time.

Near the flat, in Via Filomena you have a lot of bars and restaurants which offer different options to eat or drink. Free options and safe to park in the street. The building is very old and the flat sometimes has a weird smell.

Thanks again for the mini cakes. The apartment is in the Center and you have have the local market 2 minutes away from you and the restaurant 5 minutes away. None
