Even though it was nice, the breakfast consisted of a self service style only serving Tea, Coffee, a Scone or a Croissant. A Full Irish Breakfast would have been nice also.

• Nicholas (9/5): Acomfortable bed - The room was comfortable and clean. It was a room-only booking, but as well as tea and coffee making in the room, there was also a coffee machine downstairs. As a room-only booking, I had to go looking for breakfast but that was what I expected. You can walk into Athlone easily, and there are cafes a short drive away.

The flowers were amazing when we were there. you couldn't control it but a couple was arguing outside our window. I slept through it but the girls said it was awful. People need to be respectful

• Santosh George (10/5): Excellent stay. Great hospitality. Clean rooms with amenities provided. - The location is good and the town center is at a walkable distance. The room was super clean and kettle with tea/coffee/ cookies was provided, along with bottles of water. Staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Dushanka. Jim and Nancy were excellent host and would recommend this property without a doubt. Very close to TUS Midlands as had visited to settle my daughter. There is nothing that I didn't like. I was aware that there was no restaurant and breakfast facilities at the time of booking however, there are few eateries around for the same. Plenty of options at the town centre which is at a walkable distance.

• Colm (9/5): - The owners were very friendly. A large room with excellent shower, large bed, kettle in room. Nice light in room. Warm scones provided in the morning. Overall a good stay. Sheets were polycotton. Personally l and especially my wife prefer 100% cotton linen. But this is may not be an issue for many people. Overall very nice accommodation.

Excellent parking facilities with security cameras, a bonus for us motorcyclists. Rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Friendly and accommodating host. Bus stop close by to take you directly into Athlone Town (15mins) Nothing.

About the use of the whirlpool tube, availability of iron. There was a desk, but it wasn’t useful as such as it served as a tea station. I could’ve rearranged but after a work’s day I couldn’t bother. Working was a bit uncomfortable.
