• Mauricio (10/5): Um lugar tranquilo e aconchegante em White River. - O quarto é aconchegante e bem decorado, limpo, com uma ótima cama e um banho quente excepcional! A cozinha é pequena, mas funcional. Ela tem todos os utensílios necessários para permitir fazer um lanche ou até uma refeição simples. O ambiente é silencioso, o que nos ajudou a ter uma ótima noite de sono. Apesar de não ter interfiro em nada com nossa estadia, a piscina estava imprópria para o banho e deveria nos ter sido avisado com antecedência.

Nice HOT shower, all the rooms are separated with hedges to give you privacy and your own little private garden. Weber in garden.

I love how she made me feel welcome even hours before I checked in. She is just an awesome communicator. Although I checked in very late, she still managed to give me a little tour of the place.......that made me feel valued.
• Viki (7/5): Fine for what we paid. - The gardens are beautiful and the room is tastefully decorated. The location is good - a country vibe, within walking distance of great restaurants. The disclaimer signs in the unit are a bit hostile. We were also told that the parking bays closest to the rooms are reserved for the operators - ie guests park further away, which feels a bit unwelcoming.

Huge, old avocado trees, beautiful bird life and very private and comfortable accommodation make this a place I would happily stay at again. It needs each bed to have mosquito nets not just 1 bed. It needs better cooling systems ... not necessarily air cons but fans. Marti was so helpful in getting extra fans but cooling needs to be considered. Sorry it's so beautiful but I was a bit frustrated.

• Santiago (1/5): Disappointing - Communication was not good, several messages not responded (I am still waiting for response days after I checked out). Phone number does not exist. Address lacks street number, we ended up fenced off in a private farm.
• San (1/5): Bad experience - We are frequent travelers to White River but had a bad experience in this place. First, the phone number stated by the property in Booking.com DOES NOT EXIST. Second, they did not respond to messages using the Booking.com chat. Thirdly, the property did not indicate the street number, so we ended up trapped in a fenced-off private farm. No apologies received. To make it worse the blinds in the room were faulty and the property sent us an invoice on a Sunday afternoon (the check-out day) for repairing them, blaming us for ripping the blinds' cords, not even trying to find out if we had found them like that already. I would not recommend this place to international travelers.
• Karin (9/5): Superb - This is my go-to place to stay in White River. Love everything about it, quiet, nice rooms, fully equipped, everything you need and want. Very private and safe. Good wifi that also works during loadshedding. Also has emergency lights for loadshedding and they always send the loadshedding schedule so you can plan. Marti is a wonderful host, always feels like I am coming back to visit friends.
