• Jason (10/5): Fantastic place to stay! - It was just really easy to get around and get into the apartment. Everything was clear. The host communicated just excellently all the time. Everything was easy. Yeah, just fantastic. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. I had problems using my VPN from Spain with the WIFI, but I think this is just a Turkey problem, not an actual apartment problem.

• Houser (10/5): Our Best Stay in Türkiye – Thank You Ismail! - Ismail is a fantastic host. The apartments are modern, very clean, and every little detail is thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, salt, and cleaning supplies, and there were plenty of extra towels, linens, and pillows. We even had a small treat waiting for us when we checked in, which was a really nice touch. We stayed at Lemon Apartments three separate times during our visit to Istanbul, and each stay was excellent. Ismail is extremely responsive and helpful, and his cleaning staff does a top-notch job keeping everything spotless. Our favorite room is on the top floor, but the apartment below is just as comfortable and well designed. The location in Cihangir is also fantastic. The neighborhood is calm, charming, and full of great cafés and things to do. It’s close enough to Taksim Square for easy access, but far enough away to avoid the large crowds and noise. We have been traveling in Türkiye for over two months, and Lemon Apartments has easily been our best accommodation experience. Thank you Ismail for such a positive stay — we wish you all the best in the future Nothing — everything was excellent.

I wanna highlight the awesome service Ismail provided helping us get a shuttle service to the airport and his willingness anytime with any recommendations. Highly recommended Overall great stay. Sometime some unpleasant smell from the bathroom during the night. Maybe needs a bit of maintenance or a simple check. By letting the window open it was quite manageable.

• Kim (9/5): Very pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay - The bed was comfortable and the bedroom (being at the back of the property) was quiet. The property was as shown in the photos and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom is small but has some shelving for storing toiletries and a heated towel rail that are not shown in the pictures. The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. There is a really good, big supermarket 1 minute walk away. The water pressure in the shower was low to very low. You can hear people's footsteps in the apartment above. The apartment doesn't have a microwave but does have a small standalone oven. However, these things were minor, and we would highly recommend the apartment.

The neighborhood is really nice and vibrant, close to the Galata tower Communication with Irfan was excellent, he was very réactive and helpful with everything we needed. We had a very nice stay in Istanbul ! This might not be the best area to stay if you are travelling with elderly people. The apartment is on the top of a hill (the equivalent of montmatre in Paris) with a lot of really steep stairs. Aparently there is a funicular nearby but we did not know about it

The apartment is beautiful and contains everything one might need. We immediately felt at home and safe. With cameras and multiple security measures we did our daily exploring with peace of mind. Shops, restaurants and coffee shops are very close (steps away)... Ismail, the host, was extremely helpful and kind. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

The apartment was a generous size and very well provisioned with a great kitchen including wonderful appliances, coffee, tea sugar etc. Fabulous location and in a very fun part of Istanbul. Outside is a busy small local street but inside very quiet. Bedrooms face the back so heard nothing at night. Apartment 4 up the top of the building was great. Good communication and security access easy to use. Felt incredibly safe in the apartment and the area. Very strongly recommend. All perfect.
• Richard (10/5): Well equipped and well located. A really pleasant environment after a hard day wandering round town! - The location is well serviced with very nice cafes, restaurants and shops. It's an easy walk to Taksim, or a little further to the Bosphorous or Golden Horn (both these steep). Communications before we arrived were precise and fully detailed, and responses prompt. Irfan is brilliant at communication. The flat was clean, and had good supplies of coffee, sugar, and a big bottle of water sitting in the fridge. We cooked for friends one evening and the kitchen was well enough equipped for that. The flat is light and airy. A really pleasant environment after a hard day wandering round town! Only niggles - the stairs are steep and could be a problem for older people, or anyone with bad knees (nothing they can do about this) The pillows were too big (keep them, but put slimmer pillows too).

It was a very easy check in and check out. The host was very responsive. The neighbourhood is awesome and for us the location couldn't be better. Close to tons of cool cafes and restaurants but still walking distance to transport and easy to get to city attractions. We would definitely stay here again. We found the beds a bit soft which made it a bit uncomfortable but that is our personal preference

We received clear check-in instructions, which were very simple and easy to follow. There’s a coffee machine, a washing machine with detergent, and a drying rack. The internet worked without issues. The area is quiet, with shops and cafes nearby. The apartment has a modern look and feels spacious enough. It was a convenient place to stay, and everything functioned as expected. I’d consider booking again if I’m in the area. -

Grocery stores, restaurants and cafes are on every corner. Tucked in more quiet block. It’s very safe and friendly neighborhood with old charm. Manager was very responsive and helpful. I I could ask, since we stayed here for a week, it would be nicer if someone could come and take garbage and do minimal cleaning.

We really enjoyed our stay here and everything that we needed to explore and enjoy Istanbul was on our doorstep. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had enough coffee, sugar and black tea, free of charge. After check out, the host allowed to leave our luggage, in front of the room’s door until the evening.

With metro or taxi you are within 30 minutes in the ancient centre Sultahnamet. The direct neighborhood is also great with lots of nice restaurants and cafes. • Mikita (10/5): Great spot in Istanbul - The apartment is quite big, nicely decorated and has everything one might need from dishwasher to ironing board. It's located close to the metro station and lively Istiklal street, but at the same time we were never bothered by any sounds at night. The area has a lot of grocery shops, bakeries, cafes etc., you can also easily reach Bosphorus for a stroll, so the location is perfect overall. If we ever come back to Istanbul, we'd surely book the apartment again. Nothing to mention :)
• Lauree (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean, near to everything you need, and well furnished. I especially liked that the mattress was a very good quality, comfortable mattress. They have different coffee makers, which is perfect for us. And the host graciously put drinking water prior to our arrival....not all airbnb do that but those little details that makes your arrival comfortable where u don't have to hurry outside to buy water after a long travel means a lot.

Aircon in living area and one bedroom was amazing in the extreme heat experienced during our stay. Close to convenient store, restaurants and some tourist attractions. Smaller bedroom does not have an aircon and was very hot.

• Olga (10/5): Was really great, would totally recommend it! - Of all the accommodations we stayed in in Istanbul those one was the best one. A real nice apartment with one queen bed and one single bed allowed us, a group of three, to comfortably settle in. Access to the apartment is with a code which is really cool as you don’t have to worry about forgetting the key. The area is very quiet and surrounded by a lot of nice cafes and restaurants. The Taksim square is in 10 minute walk. Full kitchen is great-you can save some money by cooking breakfast or dinner. The apartment has a washing machine which is pretty awesome for light travelers. In the evening you can connect to Smart-TV and watch your favorite shows on Netflix or other streaming services. You can contact the hosts via WhatsApp and they are very polite and respond quickly. All in all, that’s a very good apartment. Nothing comes to mind.
• Kendoo (10/5): Amazing stay - This is a very nice apartment with 2 bedrooms ( a double bed and a single bed) ,a fully equipped kitchen , and a very nice living room with a dining table , a sofa , and a TV. Bedrooms are facing backyard so is very quite, the living room is facing main street so you can get a feeling of the vivid Instanbul. Ac in main bedroom and living. Very attentive staff ,we found coffe,tea and water in the fridge. The area itself it is packed with caffes, bars and restaurants and it has an amazing vibe ,it is worh to take the tine to explore it. It is also just 10 minutes walk to Taksim square( another beautiful area) from where you can take metro ,tram, funicular to explore the city. Would definitely stay again, the ratio price quality price was amazing. Not the case.
• Nikita (10/5): Best place in Cihangir to stay for 3 people - This was my 3rd time staying in Cihangir area and 5th stay in Istanbul overall, and it was the best of them all. The accommodation was perfect for 3 people. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, cutlery, kettle, coffemachines (both filter and espresso), and so on. Everything was super clean and in good condition. The location is also very nice having both expat- and local-oriented places around (cafes, shops, and supermarkets). And finally, the host was super friendly, responsive and speaking really good English (this is quite rare in Turkey!). I'd rather have a bigger table so that 3 people could eat at once comfortably.

Really enjoyed location and apartment during our stay there - highly recommended! It is not too roomy, but absolutely not tight there! Modern design apartment: 1 double sofa bedroom with A/C + 1 single sofa bedroom with balcony and no A/C, spacious bathroom, laundry room with extra cot there. Fully equipped kitchen in the living room with A/C. Good WiFi speed and smart TV with possibility to set your personal YouTube account to enjoy it when you need to stretch your tired legs at home :) Only missing appliance in the kitchen I could think of is microwave oven.
• Beautychick (10/5): Fantastic! - This was not our original property choice, but that host wanted us to stay elsewhere so we cancelled and then found Lemon Apartments. And we are so glad that we did! Our host, Irfan, was fantastic. He was in touch prior to our arrival, upon arrival and then following up to ensure we were happy with everything. We did have an issue with the water not getting hot enough on the Saturday morning, but Irfan arranged for an engineer to attend within a couple of hours to rectify the issue. The apartment itself is in a great area - loads of places to get some food or a drink, and plenty of supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk - and you can walk to Taksim Square within 10 minutes. Getting into the Old City is very easy and you can walk to all the main attractions within 30 minutes. Public transport is plentiful and extremely cheap, clean and efficient. A taxi from the airport would set you back quite a lot in comparison to the metro or bus, both of which will drop you off at Taksim Square. We used the airport bus (SG2) which worked out at about £3 each one way for an hours journey. Had a great time with so much to see and do, but not enough time to do it in! Nothing

• Galina (10/5): Exceptional - That was the best accommodation that I experienced in Istanbul so far. Flat is great equipped and has it's own charm. Communication with the host was very smooth. Location is also great!
• Ann-beth (8/5): Wonderful, stylish and cozy apartment - Lemon Apartment is a very nice and tastful decorated apartment. Recently renovated, very sunny, bright, clean and have everything you need. Big kitchen fully equipped and a nice living room facing the street and 2 sleeping rooms facing the back yard. It´s the perfect hood in Istanbul if you like small trendy cozy shops, cafes and restaurant. The staff helpful all the time. We really enjoyed our stay at the Lemon. Just small adjustments – a wardrobe in the bedrooms together with several hangers.
• John (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. The best place to be for access to both Taksim and the Bosphorus. This is a 'real' local vibrant neighbourhood.
• Andrius (10/5): Great stay - Apartment was cozy and clean. Kitchen was fully equipped with dishes and even a dishwasher. Host was very nice to leave some welcome snacks. Plenty of space. Our child loved that TV had Disney+ :)

• Irina (8/5): Very good - Good location on a quiet street with a lot of nice cafe. Cozy and spacious apartment. Not really sound proof. No AC in smaller bedrooms.
• Elise (9/5): Clean, comfy and very cool. - Very comfortable in a cool area of Istanbul. Very clean. Washing machine and laundry very handy. Lovely balcony and good security on the apartment door. Front door wasn’t always secure and the toilet runs after flushing. Although in a cool area of Istanbul, it’s not particularly close to any public transport and it’s at the top of the hill in both relevant directions. We didn’t mind the exercise but I wouldn’t recommend walking unless you are fit!
• Dirk (10/5): The best place in a beautyful city. - We really enjoyed to stay in this beautyful and comfortable apartment. It it spacious, tastefully designed and the kichen is well-equipped. A quiet place in a very lovely area of the city.
• Saqib (10/5): Excellent stay. Highly recommended - Location: We've stayed in Cihangir before and it is our preferred location every time we visit Istanbul. Urban chic vibes with few of the best cafes and breakfast spots in the city. Conveniently located very close to the busy Taksim square and yet very isolated at the same time. Easy access to major transport options and a short walk to the tophane tram station. Not many tourists tread this way so it gives a very local vibe. This area is entirely on a gradient like most of the city so be prepared to walk uphill and downhill. Grocery store, cafes and restaurants round the block for convenience. You get a typical Istanbul street view from the windows. If you want panoramic views of the city then this is not it. Apartment: Newly refitted building. Chic. Clean. Secure. Fully equipped. If there is anything that is missing I'm sure the management(Mr. Ismail) would oblige. Loved the complimentary Nespresso pods and filter coffee station. Heating and Air-conditioning both work great. Great attention to detail. Furniture, Mattresses and beddings are very comfortable and of good quality. Kitchen is fully equipped. You'll feel at home in no time! Balcony at the rear end of the building. Communication: Excellent response time for all your queries. Also it's a completely keyless password accessible property which they provide details for beforehand. Amenities: All amenities available that I can think of. Bathroom water pressure could be a little better but that's prevalent in most older buildings in Istanbul. Also the bathroom is tiny. It's completely equipped but tiny compared to the rest of the apartment. The laundry room is extremely convenient. Highly recommended. Book this with confidence. Great value No Wardrobes! Consider this if you intend to stay for extended periods. This has been missing in a lot of apartments we have stayed in. We ended up using the smaller room for storage. The laundry room has some storage space but however, an addition of a wardrobe/clothing drawers would be great if you don't intend to live out of a suitcase. Check in with management if they can help you with that.
• Valeriya (10/5): Definitely will return again and again. - Everything was great. Apartment has all we need for this stay. Cozy sunny living room. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean place. Quiet bedrooms. Most important amazing helpful host: easy communication, always in touch, helped us booking taxi to airports. Location is another plus: atmosphere of Istanbul, a lot attractions in walking distance, restaurants around the corners. Feels like home.
• Gaukhar (10/5): The best place to live in all my visits to Istanbul - Don't be afraid to book this apartment because there are few reviews! This apartment is a real pearl of Istanbul. Location – the apartment is located on a quiet street from where in 5-7 minutes you can get on Tram 1, which goes to the main tourist places. Also in 5-7 minutes you can walk to Taksim Square or Istiklal Street. For those who don’t like walk up the hill, it will be more convenient to go down to the T1 tram line and return to the apartment from Taksim Square, also down the hill. The Galata Tower and many other tourism sites are also within walking distance from the apartment. You don't need to worry about taking a taxi to the airport; there is a taxi rank just around the corner where you can arrange a ride in advance. There is a local grocery store next door and Carrefour around the corner. There are many cafes, restaurants, pharmacies and fast food outlets nearby. Equipment – the apartment fully corresponds to the photographs. All furniture, appliances, dishes and bedding are completely new and not worn out. If you decide to book an apartment in the near future, you will enjoy the freshness. The owner has thought through all the little things that a tourist needs - soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, spices, tea and coffee. I also liked the cleanliness of the apartment and entrance. Very convenient access to the apartment using a combination lock without a personal meeting. Even though the building is old, everything inside is clean and tidy. The living room window faces the street, the bedroom windows face the courtyard If you need a microwave, you should probably ask the owner for it. At the time of our visit there was an oven, but not a microwave. The apartment is located in the historical quarter in an old building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down without an elevator.
• Надя (10/5): Wonderful stay - Communication with the hosts was very easy at all times. Very good system for getting into the apartment where you don't need any keys. The location is very good in a lovely neighborhood with a lot of cafes and restaurants but quiet at night. The apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard. Everything is new and sparkling clean. There were a couple of things missing but were provided as soon as we asked. The hosts were really helpful. I almost didn't book this place because there were no reviews but am glad I decided to take the risk. Everything was fine
