Also there was an early false fire alarm. The hotel didn’t follow up to apologise.

Both shared bathrooms even have baths, which was an unexpected bonus. The food at the pub was delicious and the prices of food and drinks very reasonable. Would recommend this venue highly. A bedside table and lamp would have been a welcome addition, but not essential.

Great meals and chefs
It’s been 11 years since I had a holiday away from the farm it was great 4 days everyone is friendly The accommodation could do with a toaster upstairs and a microwave oven for heating up meals
- Madeleine (4/5): It would be so easy to make a few simple inexpensive changes to these rooms to make it a much more comfortable and pleas - Location. Bed was comfortable No wifi, no tv, only 1 power point. Only 3 hooks to hang clothes, no where to hang wet bath towels. Only 1 bedside table, no lamps to read by. Walls so thin you could hear guests in adjoining rooms. Bathroom had 2 pedestal basins with no where to put toiletries bag while you were washing face or applying makeup
- Kelly (8/5): Very good -
- Ronald (7/5): Just what you would expect from an older style coastal hotel. - Great location near the waterfront. Good value for money. Bistro food was very good. The band was far too loud when I was having my dinner.
- Manuel (8/5): Very good - Good attention of the staff The noise from the oub
- Nichole (6/5): Great for my overnight stop. - It was in a great spot. Handy to be above the pub. I knew what I was getting. I’m not a fan of shared bathrooms but that’s pub accommodation.

- Robinson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maija (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (7/5): Perfect location for pub stay - Amazing views from dining room/bar/bistro and roof top via rooms. Nice enclosed verandah in winter as well. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Amazing location - great to watch sunset and sunrise. Good air con in room. Only frosted glass on door facing outside means gets bright in the very early morning! Not for sleeping in. Small shared bathroom may be crowded in peak season.
- Gail (10/5): Our stay was memorable - ..... the atmosphere of the old.aussie pub .... the food was ample servings and good quality and the lady behind the bar was very welcoming Ahmmmm nothing to complain about ...

- Karl (8/5): Very good -
- Motti (7/5): Beautiful location - we will be back. - We did not get any breakfast because we left very early in the morning before the pub opened. Instead, we were directed to a lovely 50's style diner further down main street which was superb. Better set up in the rooms e.g. bedside tables
- Kym (10/5): Our stay was lovely would highly recommend - It was stunning the view was amazing Maybe rooms could have Tv and fridge
- David (8/5): Satisfactory - Beautiful location Shared washroom facilities
Noisy at night
- Amit (9/5): Superb -
- Ruth (6/5): Average, but has potential with a bit more effort. - New Reno is nice. Beds were ok. Staff were friendly when booking in. Nice view over the river. Very noisy with some aircon/refrigeration system (not for the apartment) turning on and off all night and it was very windy outside so there was banging of windows happening all night. Needs a little more TLC to be worth the price we paid.
- Elias-rafael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudia (8/5): Beautiful and tranquil - Staff were great and gave lots of helpful tips. The room was beautiful and spacious. The food was yummy downstairs. Bathrooms were clean. The location was lovely and peaceful as we loved going on a morning walk down to the beautiful beach. Due to the way our room was situated, there was a bright exit light shining through our door which made it tricky to sleep. But everything else was perfect!!
- Helen (6/5): Perfect for our needs. Probably would not stay more than a night or two. - Basic, clean accomodation. Share facilities which was fine for us. Noise from the bar.
Lacking bedside light, chair and somewhere to hang wet towel etc
- Oh (9/5): Superb - The rooms looked newly painted, and the white walls and sheets felt very refreshing. Loved the old style.
- Gurung (9/5): Excellent stay. - The Hotel location, friendly staff cleanliness, views food, people around and place. Not much to mention.
- Gurung (10/5): Excellent - Everything
- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
- Janine (7/5): Good - Located right in town.
Nice bistro. The accommodation is very basic but clean. Showers were hot. The pillows were a bit hard and the hallway lights shine through the glass all night on the bedroom door.
No tv in the rooms.
- Pamela (9/5): An absolute pleasure staff so friendly and helpful - I was more than happy with the upgrade and I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and how the family room was fabulous and would recommend your facilities to anyone even though I did not have what I booked for $120 I got excellent value for money from the upgrade but I did take notice of where I was meant to stay and I would still say great value for money with less space. The views were awesome! I would stay there again in my travels s between Woombah and Wollongong. I still have family in Wollongong! Thank you for making my trip enjoyable in my own! Everything
- Fareed (9/5): Superb -

- Samantha (10/5): Great relaxing stay - Excellent renovations have been carried out, large rooms with ceiling fans aircon to one and living area fully equipped kitchen very clean excellent staff Ceiling fan in one bedroom not working

- Kai (9/5): Great budget stay overnight - Very clean room, good airconditioning, comfortable bed. Shared bathroom was very clean and well maintained, better than most hotel private bathrooms. Staff were very friendly and accomodating to our late arrival and the pub food was great. Fantastic location. Would easily recommend. Small room, single powerpoint only, minimally furnished, be aware kitchen closes at 8:30PM. All expected and very reasonable at this price point.
- Ludwig (9/5): Beautiful and cheerful stay with stunning views of the breakwater and sea. - Staff were very friendly. The entire place was spotless clean. The views were absolutely beautiful. The communal bathrooms for me. They did inform on the booking that there is a shared bathroom, and old Hotels definitely worked this way, so no hard feelings about this. The stay was great. Thank you Harrington.
- Cameron (8/5): Ok - Cheap hotel for accommodation while travelling to Sydney When I arrived the guy at the bar was a bit gruff & indifferent, didn't explain where to leave key.
Also I was next door to men's bathroom and had to walk to other end of hotel to use women's separate bathroom ?
- Ruth (9/5): Lovely restaurant down stairs. Very clean room and bathroom. - Clean room and immaculate shared bathroom. Very, very reasonable.
