- Gábor (8/5): Good for the price, but quite a walk to the beach - Part of the apartment has been renovated, with new furniture, a modern bathroom, and well-equipped interiors, almost everything feels new and functional. There is a large and convenient parking area, which is a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get, the rooms and decor match the photos. I can recommend this place, though with some compromises. The apartment, like many in Opatija, is located quite high up, so getting there involves a bit of a climb. I personally didn’t mind, but with a child, a cooler, and a SUP board, it’s a long walk to the beach. That said, the location explains the more affordable price. While the apartment has been renovated, the shutters are still the old ones. Also, the apartment is noticeably darker than it appears in the photos. The kitchen, for example, has no (real) windows and requires artificial lighting even during the day.
