Guest Reviews
- Kristie (9/5): Superb chalet, short walk to beach, enjoyed our stay as a young family thank you - Good location, easy walk down to beach with young kids, chalet all on ground level. Had everything we needed for a mini break. Fantastic communication from host before and during stay. Visited Africa Alive in the village - highly recommend with kids. Also did a day trip to Gorleston Beach with their famous ice creams and another day visited Southwold which is a lovely beach. Lovely to have an evening walk from the chalet after dinner. Parking right outside chalet, security gate for entry. Would be great if they had Netflix/Disney TV channels for the evening after a busy day on the beach.
An idea from a young family point of view... Top bolt on the front door would be great as its not a key lock once inside so easy to open (we had young kids so wanted the extra security).
- Audrius (10/5): Lovely place to stay close to the beach - This place is absolutely amazing! We did not except welcome pack with water in the bottles, biscuits, milk in the fridge. There was oil and ketchup if wanted to use.
Place is very tidy and clean. We did not use a single room as was family of three. Location just perfect for a beach walks. If walking by the beach 10/15 min getting to local pub and little restaurant with beautiful scenery to the sea. This stay was short but loved every minute of it. We were pleased to be able to drink coffee outside as there was table and chairs. It was quite all that time we was there and people very kind and polite. Lovely getaway for a weekend. Have no doubts we will be back
- Janice (8/5): - Great chalet to spend a few days with family. Has everything you could need including soap and washing up liquid, which are often absent from other sites. Very quiet location short walk to beach
- Paul (10/5): - Quite and private, clean and well equipped
- Michael (8/5): Very comfortable chalet, great fascilities in quiet location - A very comfortable chalet and easy to find thanks to Debbie and John's email instructions.
Very clean and with great fascilities and 2minute walk to the beach.
I wish we could have stayed longer. nothing.
- B.Timi (10/5): An absolute gem! Highly recommend it. - This place is going to be our new favourite stay when in the area, absolutely loved everything about it. From the cleanliness to little details like milk (proper milk, not sachets) and location.
We wanted to book a hotel, but as we have a 1,5-year-old who does the worm while sleeping and grew out of the travel cot, we would have needed an extra bed.
Booking John's place was the best decision and we will definitely come back again.
Highly recommend it!
P.S. 5 minute walk from a very quiet beach.
- Claire (10/5): Clean and well equipped chalet, great location - Very clean and well equipped, everything you need for a few days break, tea, coffee milk right down to vinegar and ketchup for the obligatory fish and chips. Lovely quiet site with shop nearby. Excellent access to beach. Couldn't find any oven gloves...(yes we used the oven). Literally the only thing the chalet didn't have.
- Vasil (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning kitchen with all the appliances you need .
Portable garden chairs .
Extra blankets.
Little toch for everithink.
- Carly (9/5): Wonderful get away, quiet, great beach access, lovely property.highly recommend - Lovely property, clean, well maintained very smart and great location. For the beach. Only suggestion was the mattress could do with updating. In the back double where we sleep it fell in at the center.
- Nigel (10/5): Exceptional - Immaculate chalet with everything you need. Close to the beach. Lovely touches such as milk, biscuits, tea and coffee. Good communication with the host. Nothing
- Mia (10/5): Perfect - We had a really lovely time . Will definitely book this chalet again . Everything
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful, quiet site yards from the beach path. Spotless, clean and comfortable. We’ll be back.
- Zoe (10/5): Lovely seaside chalet - Modern, clean and close to the beach Nothing
- Tracey (8/5): Very good - Nice area near the sea, good for walking our dogs, the chalet was comfortable every thing we needed for our stay. Nothing

- David (10/5): Excellent Weekend Break. - Clean and well equipped.
Lovely location nice quiet and well kept site a short walk from restaurant and pub. Plenty of shops and take ways close by.
Dog friendly.
- Clare (10/5): Great location - Location cleanliness it was warm Nothing
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - Clean warm and cosy lovely walks especially if you have dog's.
- Jimmer76 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (7/5): Peaceful! - Location great for the beach, lovely site - very quiet and chalets spaced out. Strange smell in the chalet
- Katie (6/5): Lovely hosts, chalet needs updating. - The hosts were lovely, quick to respond to the booking and share the details. No complaines about the cleanliness of the chalet, location wasn't bad, easy access to major nearby towns. The beds were massively uncomfortable, very cheap matresses, struggled to get a decent nights sleep. Although the chalet was well equipt it was very dated and is in need of an update - bathroom the shower cubicle/ shower were very old and not great! The chalet is located right next to the enterence/exit barriers and although it was low season there was still a lot of passing traffic and would have appreciate knowing about this in advance. The site it's self isn't particularly nice and reminded me of a prison camp, again this is no reflection on the hosts.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean up to date fittings Dated bedding ...if we're being picky . Loved it great spot .
- Sarah (10/5): Absolutely brilliant find! Will be back - The extra little touches, milk in fridge on arrival. Yea, coffee and sugar provided There was nothing that we didn’t like
- Robke (5/5): It's OK for 1 night, mattresses are poor quality -
- Claire (5/5): Fine for 3 lads on a work stop over for 1 night - Clean and pleasant enough Tv didn’t work
Leak under sink (reported not acknowledged)
Very quiet area with no amenities close. Would have been good to know this in the brief so could have been prepared with food etc before arrival.
- Angela (9/5): Great property for a night away with a couple of Friends - Open plan & warm! And it was great that we could take a one night stay here.
- Claire (4/5): we didn’t stay the night went home as didn’t feel comfortable and the place was dirty which was a great shame - not a lot other than near the sea. it wasn’t clean, there was quite a lot of urine on the toilet seat which was disgusting. there was a dirty plate with food still on it. also photo on Booking.com shows a laminate flooring in the living room but it wasn’t it was stained carpet which is misleading.
