Brudno toalety. Rozumiem, że są proste. Ale były niesprzątane. Bardzo słabe śniadania. Zjedzenie kawałka ciasta z kawą a potem nurkowanie… po małym słodkim śniadaniu umierałam z głodu. A tam przecież nie można nic kupić.

- Vitalii (10/5): - We stayed at Firdas Homestay for 7 nights and it was an absolutely incredible place 😍
The bungalows are very atmospheric and built directly over the water, so it almost feels like you are sleeping in the ocean. You can see many fish and even reef sharks swimming nearby.
The food deserves special attention. At this homestay the meals are very diverse and delicious, prepared by a lovely local woman. There is always hot water, tea, coffee, and cookies available, which makes the stay even more comfortable.
You can also easily organize excursions here for a very reasonable price, and we definitely recommend doing that because the reef around the island is simply unbelievable.
The staff are very kind and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.
If you walk a little along the beach, you will find a beautiful reef with plenty of fish, rays, reef sharks and turtles 🐢🐠

- Mykola (9/5): -
- Marie-Christine (7/5): - L'emplacement La nourriture, peu copieux
Trop peu de poisson aux repas
- Anthony (7/5): -
- Bo (10/5): 4 days in Kri Island. - Very basic bungalows but wow what a place, we really enjoyed our stay.
Super location, terrace over the water, great views. Deliscious local meals. Kind people there, fair prices (for Raya Ampat) on tours and transfer to other islands.
- Mayke (7/5): Good location, very basic stay - Great location on Kri Island. Snorkeling right in the front! You can snorkel till you drop. See sharks from the pier. Famous Cape Kri snorkeling/diving spot short boat ride away. As are other great area's like Sawandarek, Aborek, etc. Great location from where to see these places. Food was basic. 3 times a day. Included. The room is very basic. There are rats. There is a shared bathroom which is basic. There is only limited electricity. No shops. Bring loads of cash for your transportation and trips. They sell beer.
Amazing view. There is no lock on the door. They could have given a box for your food (rats)

- alejandro (8/5): Nice place! - We enjoyed our stay at Frida’s Homestay. It is located in a wonderful part of the island, peaceful with a beautiful view of the horizon. You can jump straight into the ocean directly from your bungalow. It’s simple, but very nice. The island has a problem with rats, so don’t leave any food exposed if you don’t want unwanted visitors. This is not a specific problem with the homestay, but something that affects the whole island
- Nathalie (9/5): - Tres bien placé, belle plage, beau snorkeling .
- Wesley (5/5): Transport to Kir costs more than the homestay! Location is beautiful, staff were not very helpful. - The location is incredible. Sleeping over the water is a lovely experience and there were so many little fish! There were no mosquitoes and lots of stars. I was unable to reach the homestay to arrange transport on the day of my stay, even though I messaged them on Whatsapp, SMS Text, and through booking.com's email. I had to arrange my own transport there which was stressful and confusing. They also did not have a boat to take me back to Waisai at the time I requested. It was more than one hour late. The transport costs more than the hotel! 800,000 rupiah each way. So keep that in mind.
- Laura (1/5): ABSOLUTE DISASTER - DO NOT STAY HERE - Nothing, this place is a disaster - from rats to cockroaches, to ripped mosquito nets, towels with blood, food full of insects and owner refusing to cancel reservation or pay me back Everything - rats, cockroaches, sheets and towels with blood and orange stains, noodles upon arrival were full of ants and other bugs. When confronting owner by booking message and WhatsApp, they said they would accept cancellation and never did
- Laura (1/5): Nightmare homestay with rats and cockroaches - Nothing Had cockroaches, was dirty, rats in the eating area and ripped mosquito nets

- Michał (6/5): It was okay. - Nice location, friendly and helpfull staff. You can spot walking sharks from your bungalow. The amount of the food was not enought for us. We were hungry most of our stay there. Also would be good to add small fan to the room - other homestays provide it for the same price of stay.
- Salome (9/5): Cozy bungalow over the sea - The bungalows are located directly over the water, which is amazing. You can snorkel from there and the dive boat will pick you up from your bungalow. The rooms are very basic, but you don't need more really, if you do then you have to pay for a more expensive place. The cat is lovely and keeps away any other animals :) The owners don't speak very well English, as expected from a remote place in Indonesia, however they really try their best to make your stay great. We loved it there and would totally come back. Thank you very much guys and hope see you again :) For the price, it is totally fine. So nothing really.
- Nicolas (7/5): Decent homestay - Pretty good homestay all in all, location very convenient and long pontoon to go to the reef drop for snorkeling.
Very convenient hosts
Good rustic bungalows on the water A lot of plastic washes out on this side of the island, there was a lot less plastic on the other side of Kri. Having to avoid floating plastic (sometimes in agglomerates) whilst snorkeling is a harsh reality
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely Homestay with good food and a friendly vibe. Risky who manages the Homestay is so friendly and organised a bonfire for our friends last night as well as all the boats we needed. He made the stay the best!
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - The food is very good. Typical indonesian, either fish or chicken wirh vegetables, and all very tasty.
At night its dark and quiet, except the calming sounds of the sea. In general this area of kri does have much less boat traffic respective engine noises compared to north or west. When i was there the sea brought a huge amount of waste. The beach and the waterfront were very dirty. All of Kri had this issue...
This homestay, but also raja ampat in general, does not really provide good value for money compared to other regions in indonesia.
- Gertrude (8/5): Very good - Risky was our host. He was always happy, helpful and available to assist.
The location was fantastic. Beautiful sunsets, lapping water and close proximity to excellent diving, swimming, exploring and snorkelling.
We were able to snorkel from the property, walk and swim to Yenbuba, cross the island to Yenkerano and dive from Turtle, which was 50 m away. We would have loved more fresh fruit and less cakes for breakfast.
A fan in the room would have been love too as the nights during January are very still.
- Max (9/5): Superb -
- Maja (8/5): Nice accommodation - We were picked up on time and the hut is above the water
We saw sharks from our little balcony daily, which was lovely. The bed was comfortable enough.
The food was amazing and really plentiful. Loved the box of biscuits from which you could pick from whenever you wanted. Appreciated the free shower and shampoo in the bathroom too. Minus the plastic chair, everything else was pretty uncomfortably to sit on. A simple foam cushion would have been great, as sometimes I simply wanted to lay outside. One toilet did not had a lock, which could have easily been fixed.
- Moore (9/5): Superb -
- Christopher (9/5): Superb - Nice place directly at the seaside, quiet and calm. Friendly owners, good food.
There is a path through the forest up and down bringing you to a viewpoint and to the small village on the Northside of Kri. About 20min walk
- Martin (10/5): Simple pleasures - The location is great, in walking distance from three dive-centers, and from the view-point. The adjacent beach is spotless. The family taking care of the homestay is lovely and the food is good, especially the fresh fish barbecue. Dont expect no big luxury but that is part of the magic of this place.
- Judith (8/5): Great balcony - Great location and perfect balcony area- you can lie in a hammock, swim up tp your balcony after snorkelling the house reef. Diving at Turtles next door is also good. A whiteboard to organise trips would help.
- Sam (9/5): Superb - Amazing stay in paradise. Accommodation is basic (smaller bed, no fan, electricity only from 18:00 etc but that is to be expected). Perfect snorkelling right off the accommodation, with turtles, sharks, ray and coral reef. 3 meals each day are nice but no vegetarian options (meat and fish everyday).
- Johannes (7/5): Good - The bungalow above the water is located perfectly. In the morning and evening you can see small black tip reef sharks and walking sharks from the terrace. Nobody talked to us. When we came to them with the translator app, nobody wanted to manage the conversation.
When we wanted to do some activities we did it with the well managed Turtle Homestay next door.
- Onelife#liveit (10/5): Truly Paradise on The Last Paradise - We had amazing stay, staying in water bungalow with hammock with natural swimming pool which ocean view is just another postcard from last paradise. 2 Toilettes are always cleaned and separated from the room which we preferred. Snorkelling point just by the jetty with loads of tropical colourful fishes, food is simple but delicious and generous with also varied and adapting to western tastes. Nearby there are 2 diveshops Just 1h boat ride from Wasai, Pak Yulianus picked us up from the port and offered excursion to Piaynemo, Manta View, Teluk Bintang, Rufas and Arborek with very reasonable price
During low tide you can walk to nearby village Yenbuba and return got picked up by boat
We were really looked after and handled with care.Very elegant people the whole family.we were extremely grateful by their kindness and mostly hospitality
They are all playing the game went above and beyond to make our stay memorable
Terima kasih Firdas Homestay and God Bless You 5D4N is too shorts
- Sarah (7/5): Beautiful location, authentic experience. - Beautiful and quiet location and basic but nice rooms! My mosquito net didn’t work very well and I always had mosquitos in my bed, as well as cockroach poo. However, after changing rooms this was all fine!
- Hannah (10/5): Fantastic stay at Firdas Bungalows! - It’s very easy, but absolutely nice! The bathroom is shared and very easy. But the Bungalows are great and on the outside you have a spectacular view. You can go snorkeling at the housereef what is very nice! You can see small sharks in front of the bungalow. The owner are friendly and try their best, but they don’t speak English. The food was very good and you get free coffee and tea the whole day.
You can go diving at the turtles homestay next door. I really love this place, but be aware that it’s very simple. For me this was perfect!
- Mattias (8/5): Lovely stay at Firdas on Kri Island - Firdas is a beautiful homestay with bungalows over there water in front of a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkling. The family is kind and makes sure you get everything you need to enjoy your stay. Food is served three times daily, and there are snacks, tea, coffee and fresh water continuously throughout the day. Text your host the day before you go out for a day activity such as diving to get a lunch box in the morning. The food is delicious and fresh to the point of getting the catch of the day on your plate in the evening. We had a lovely stay and are very appreciative of our hosts! Thank your very much!
On a side-note for future guests (a) communication with your host is easiest via a chat-app such as WhatsApp for easy translation (b) if you ask in advance you can arrange a pick up from Waisai to Kri with Firdas (c) you are on a remote island: electricity is available from 18:00 to 04:00 - bathroom and shower facilities are good compared to the average on the island (d) in general on Kri -> bring enough cash for boat trips and amenities. You can find more info on the Stay Rajampat website.
- Mika (10/5): Would love to visit again! - Best Location, amazing housereef!
Good & enough food, vegetarian friendly.
Great diving options nearby. (Turtle & Waranhus)
Basic, uncomplicated and very lovely.
- Olivier (8/5): Very good - Amazing location to start a trip in Raja Ampat. It is very good to have other homestays around to gather people to share boats for excursions. The snorkeling in front is great, sometimes sharks come below the bungalows. The food served is very tasty and in good quantity. I highly recommend !!! Hard to communicate in english but that's not really a big issue.
- Olivier (9/5): Superb -
- Marina (9/5): I will be back! - The food was amazing!! Beautiful dream location, just above the water. You got everything you need for a simple and comfortable stay. The breakfast maybe was the only thing weren't so many options and not the most nutritious. Mostly sweet stuff. But won't complain, we truly ate very good every day! :) thank you!
- Marta (9/5): Adorable family, food and the reef right in front of the room - The food was really nice and there was always more than enough!
The family was always there helping us with everything and with a smile
They took us on a snorkelling trip and it was amazing The only thing was the water from the shower didn’t have a lot of pressure but still enough
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Steph (10/5): Everything was amazing! The family are so lovely and very willing to help with transfers/dietaries. Highly recommend -
- Maria (10/5): Perfect Paradise location, totally loved it. Thank you so much 🙏 - The location is absolutely perfect right on a beautiful white Sandy beach with a gorgeous house reef and spectacular views on your doorstep.
Each bungalow has a hammock as well as a private seating area over the sea and you can watch baby sharks and marine life right underneath you. I even saw an endemic epaulette shark. And there's often turtles swimming by and feeding.
This was the best homestay for food, both in choice and quantity. There's always snacks, fresh fruit and tea and coffee always ready when you need.
The staff are always willing and happy to help. Can't wait to get back. Thank you so very much 🙏 There's nothing I didn't like. The shower and toilet facilities are basic, but that's expected. The gorgeous views more than made up for it.
- Clive (7/5): Good - Food is amazing, friendly staff although they don't speak English, no rats around very beautifully built on sea. No WiFi or anything to buy as beer or cola but you can walk to next home stay and be served. Recommend
- Stefan (9/5): Relaxed holidays in paradise - Beautiful house reef, comfortable boungalow with a big terrace and 2 hammocks, delicious food and enough for everyone, clean (we haven't seen a single rat in 7 days!), recommended to stay on this not so busy side of the island (Soul Souba picked us up every day for diving) Difficult communication with the owner (no english) but always friendly
- Sidney (9/5): Superb - Really lovely houses on the water, plenty of food (3 meals included) + snacks, sweet staff. We really enjoyed our stay here, recommended to everyone. We enjoyed our diving with the neighbours from Turtle homestay. With Firdas we did the Birds of Paradise with other guests staying here, it was soooo good. Nothing
- Adriana (9/5): A piece of paradaise - Very good location, beautiful view, tasty food and also generous portions, we have always something to eat on the table.
Few meters from the coral reef. Where you will turtles, sharks, and big fish! I even saw an eagle ray😍.
While sitting on your bungalow you can see some sharks and lot’s of fish❤️ Everything was nice 😊
