Guest Reviews
- Andrea (10/5): A great property in a great location - The property is gorgeous, a little gem in the centre of Chichester and perfect for our short stay.
A really beautiful property with everything you need.
The owner was lovely and breakfast was delicious Nothing
- Charlotte (10/5): A real find - What a find! A ravishing little refuge in a historic house, as comfortable as it is stylish and atmospheric. Emma was a brilliant host, warm and helpful, and breakfast was lovely with the super cute bonus of Gilly the dog. Nothing.
- Sarah (9/5): -
- Roberta (9/5): Cosy and welcoming in the heart of Chichester - Great location . Really friendly host and wonderful breakfast Lack of parking
- Nancy (10/5): -
- Cher (10/5): A Unique, peaceful stay with a great host and very individual service. - This is not your usual b&b. It is a lovely old house and the host Emma has created a large ground floor room with an en-suite that you go into straight from the front door. It is all you need and very comfortable. It is steps away from the centre of Chichester. It would be remiss of me not to mention what a suburb host Emma is. She clearly has a lot of experience in hospitality and it shows. For breakfast you move through into the main house and treated to a breakfast containing all you could want. It’s unique, peaceful and i thoroughly enjoyed my peaceful stay.
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Paul (9/5): Just what we wanted for an overnight stay. - Great breakfast and excellent location Limited shelf space in bathroom for toiletries.
- James (10/5): Highly recommended to others, we would happily return - It’s cozy. Nothing really, it was just fine.
- William (10/5): A Great stay and overall very good and enjoyable - excellent breakfast and a great host welcome and we enjoyed meeting Gilly the Daft Dog so friendly and the Georgian decor and original fireplaces and its position so near to the central pedestrianised shopping streets was ideal . quiet no traffic noise Placing window seat cushions and a comfortable chair would set the room off! Plus a shelf below the mirror in the bathroom would help too. Extend the period that central heating is on would keep it cosy in the colder months also
- Graham (10/5): Overall excellent - Handy good host Very difficult to find and requires paid council car park if arriving by car
- doug (10/5): - it was all superb nada
- Mary Louise (10/5): -

- Elizabeth (9/5): Comfortable ground floor room, convenient for town centre. - The room os on the ground floor so no stairs to climb. Emma was very welcoming and the breakfast included fresh berries and yoghurt. The bathroom was a bit cramped but otherwise all good.
- Joanne (9/5): Excellent location - Excellent location in the city centre, very quiet despite being so central. Convenient parking available in a public car park at the rear of the property (which was expensive, but we factored the parking costs in when booking).
Bed very comfy, great shower, good breakfast, Emma was a very accommodating host. It was just what we needed for a 2 night stay. Nothing.

- Resina (9/5): Very comfortable stay - The location couldn't be more central, and was very convenient. The breakfast was delicious. It really helped that we could check in early and leave our luggage after check out. The phone reception was intermittent.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and personal. Made you feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely. Room was clean and quaint.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ros (8/5): The owner went out of her way to accommodate me. - Breakfast was beautifully set out, and there was more than I could eat.
Location could not be more central. Ensuite has all necessary, just a little cramped
- David (10/5): Beautiful place in the middle of town - It is so well located in the centre of town and the host is incredible. Definitely recommend.
- Caroline (9/5): Comfortable and convenient in Chichester - We very much enjoyed our short but sweet stay in this cosy, comfortable and well-equipped room in a fantastic location right in the town centre, an easy walk from Chichester Theatre where we were seeing a show. We had to leave very early the following morning but Emma kindly provided us with a very good breakfast before we left which was much appreciated.
- Photis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jb (8/5): It is a very small bedroom and bathroom but perfectly decorated and very well located. - Emma, the host/owner was wonderful and very accommodating but I had a lot of trouble getting in touch as everything had to go through booking.com and they kept sending me messages that included info that I couldn't use as I didn't have a usable phone for calling due to have travelled from Canada with no roaming plan. I couldn't text so had difficulty geting reassurance on the early bag drop. However it all worked out in the end.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely room in a beautiful house. It is in the centre of Chichester, but perfectly quiet at night. Emma is a great hostess who served a delicious breakfast.
- David (10/5): Great B&B in the centre of Chichester. - Great B&B in the centre of Chichester with a great host. Nothing
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Valerie (9/5): Enjoyable weekend in fab location with an brilliant host - Location couldn't have been better. The breakfast was also excellent, using quality ingredients Parking would have been nice, but you can't have a central location like this one and expect parking. There was parking right behind the property
- Christa (10/5): Wonderful, convenient bedroom, perfectly located to enjoy the arts in Chichester - The location was ideal for the gallery, theatre and town. The bed was roomy enough to share with a friend. Sheets clean and comfortable bedding, a huge plus for me. Very nice design and thoughtful host. The room is too small to hang out in really- just a bed and a bathroom, but that is all we needed overnight. The host is so lovely and a great cook! We Breakfast was perfect. I will definitely book again! For a longer stay, I would want somewhere to sit other than the bed or one foldout chair
- Neil (9/5): Highly recommended and superb breakfast! - The room was beautiful with quality furnishings. The location was right in the heart of the town, but on a quiet side street.
Host Emma was extremely friendly, and helpful, and we had the most superb breakfast. The room needs to have some clothes storage as we stayed 2 nights and there was nowhere we could unpack our clothes.
Similarly in the bathroom, some shelving above the sink for toiletries is needed.
- Katharine (10/5): What a lovely and comfortable place to stay! Emma was so kind and helpful. Highly recommended! - Comfortable room, lovely decor, thoughtful touches, tasty breakfast, great location, very kind and helpful host nothing!
- Barnaby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (10/5): A nice B&B with it's own bathroom in the historic centre of Chichester. - Lovely room two minute's walk from the town centre. The breakfast was particularly good. A real find!
- David (10/5): High quality, friendly central Chichester location. - High quality accommodation in a central location with a very friendly and helpful host. Nothing
- Virginia (10/5): We would highly recommend staying in this beautifully restored old town house full of character. - The location was brilliant, really easy to get to see everything. The room was beautifully decorated and lovely and quiet, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Communication was very good. For us the mattress was too hard. We would have liked a thick topper. For me the shower could have been a bit hotter.
- Rita (10/5): Lovely room in the heart of Chichester - Great location, very comfortable room, friendly and thoughtful host
- Paksie (10/5): Excellent hospitality, delicious food and a beautiful room in a stunning house -
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Traceyanne (10/5): Excellent! - Fabulous period property very clean & comfortable. In the heart of the city. Emma is a super host that went the extra mile to make our trip memorable & fun. With thoughtful extras and a lovely homely comfortable feel we Highly recommend! Best breakfast ever!!!
- Belinda (10/5): Perfect! - Emma's hideaway is an absolute gem! Absolutely stunning! A beautiful room, in a gorgeous house, in a perfect location for the town centre - yet you wouldn't know it! Breakfast was the best I've ever had in a B & B - fabulous quality and heaps in quantity. Emma couldn't do enough to make our stay lovely, she made us feel so welcome. Having to leave!
- Lois (10/5): Fabulous stay - Outstanding hospitality whilst staying in Emma’s beautiful home
- Sally (10/5): Charming and convenient apartment, beautifully presented, with a lovely host. - Delightful and beautiful apartment so convenient for all that Chichester offers. Super friendly host and delicious, generous breakfast.
- Rachel (9/5): A short break in a cosy hideaway. - A stylishly decorated room which was equipped with tea and coffee, fluffy towels and other thoughtful details. The bed was very comfortable, a nice en suite shower room and the location is really quiet but central - near the Pallant Gallery, and the shops. It was short walk from the Festival Theatre. We slept very well and in the morning had an amazing breakfast cooked by our welcoming host. It was on the ground floor so would not want to leave the window open but that is a minor detail - there is nothing I didn’t like and would recommend.
