Within walking distance to the beautiful village centre of Stirling. Relaxing gardens with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy. Owner Michelle made sure our stay was so welcoming and ensured we had all we needed. We would stay here again and will definitely recommend Stirling Cottage to anyone who is planning a trip to the Adelaide Hills area.

We would return to Stirling cottage and stay longer next time. There is nothing to add.

The cottage is perfectly located for a quiet stay but close enough to walk to the main shopping & cafe area. The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped, & the beds were very comfortable. - Gemma (9/5): Wonderful accommodation with a really great host. - This was a beautifully presented, clean property and the host Michelle was exceptionally helpful and went out of her way to help us with winery recommendations and to let us know about the local Stirling Markets which were on during our stay. This was greatly appreciated. Michelle communicated promptly and was super helpful. The outlook over the garden was really pretty and there was a big kitchen with bread, cereals etc provided. There were lots of little touches that set this property apart. The linen provided was lovely and warm which was great as it was quite cool when we stayed. We would certainly book this one again when we return to Stirling. The dryer was a bit tricky to get working but once you could get the door to shut properly, it worked well.

- Leeston (9/5): I'd happily stay again. - Beautiful character cottage and very thoughtful host. My only comment would be that for some people the floor height changes might be challenging - and during the night i was very careful to carry my phone set on torch as there's several single steps between the bedroom and the bathroom.

- Samuel (9/5): An excellent value, relaxing and comfortable stay. - Amenities and inclusions were above par. Surroundings visually stunning. The relaxing and comfortable nature of the interiors. Small things. The different floor levels took a little getting used to. Electric lighting inconsistent. Unsure what to do with rubbish after our stay (most hosts require it be removed to an outside bin).
- Amra (9/5): Superb - Location and the cottage The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but the rooms still looked very charming. Everything else was divine ✨️
- Siobhan (10/5): A memorable stay in the Adelaide Hills - Stirling Cottage was an absolutely delightful stay over the New Year holiday period with my partner and her parents. Stirling is deceptively close to Adelaide Airport, but you would have no idea once you get there - so highly recommend as a retreat! The cottage was very well appointed, and had everything you could possibly need for a four night stay. It's evident that the host goes out of her way to ensure the cottage is a comfortable stay and has all the condiments and extras that you need (particularly if you want to cook your own meals). We spent a great deal of time reading and relaxing in the garden, and playing board games/sitting by the fire after dinner in the living room and it was incredibly comfortable for the four of us. The garden is an oasis, and a home away from home - we were sad to leave! For us, it was perfect. If you wanted to walk into town it may be a bit far for some - but we did this comfortably once or twice a day (as well as walking into Aldgate which is a bit further). I think the stay could probably be improved by a hammock or outdoor couch but we were quite comfortable in the garden setting.
- David (9/5): It was a sanctuary in Stirling. It was cosy and brought back memories of our old home. Quiet/private location. Minu - It was a sanctuary in Stirling. It was cosy and brought back memories of our old home. Quiet/private location.

We didn't like having to leave !
- Clare (10/5): Peaceful, beautiful and ultimate comfort stay in the heart of the Adelaide Hills - The Stirling Cottage was just the most perfect accommodation to stay. I booked the accommodation for myself and my 3 bridesmaids so that we could relax on the night before the wedding and wake up together to get ready. And for a few extra nights for the ladies to stay on the night of the wedding and for recovery the next night as well!
Wow. What a beautiful place to get ready for a wedding and a fabulous place for recovery. Very relaxing, super comfortable and the perfect location for our wedding preparation. Aside from our particular situation, it is perfectly located in Stirling. Walking distance to The Patch restaurant and the Stirling Pub as well as the main street of Stirling in general. Quiet and peaceful with a beautiful gardening. Very well stocked - the host has thought of everything. Very generous and kind host who was flexible and understanding. Styled impeccably. I was so very impressed with our stay at the Stirling Cottage. I cannot recommend it highly enough! Nothing! It was perfect!!!

The cottage itself is close to everything in Stirling and gorgeous, attention to detail and styling just spot on. - Tamara (10/5): Exceptional - Wow, wow, wow! What an exceptional property. We loved our stay in this gorgeous cottage. Lovely fire place, comfortable beds, and excellent cooking & washing facilities. An easy walk to the local shops and cafes too.
- Deborah (7/5): Wonderful couple of days. Cold and wet, however that added to the ambience. Fire was heavenly - The breakfast items were very good!
Location was excellent. No power point found in the dining room. Set up lap top, but no power. 1st world problems!
- Nektaria (9/5): Very pleasant, comfortable spacious cottage. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks! - Very well equiped, spacious, comfortable property. Michelle, the host, was excellent in communicating all the details we needed for our stay and was very accommodating with provisions for the included breakfast. The pillows! They let the experience down as the were low quality. They needed to be duck down or latex to match the quality of the rest of the cottage.
We found a few hairs in the shower which was a bit off putting.
Last of all, couch has a couple of holes in it - would be a shame to not repair / patch it so it does not get worse.
- Allison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): would highly recommend, exceptionally cosy and in the perfect location. - private, cosy, warm and wonderful… loved everything about this place.

Quaint, homely, quiet, equipped , spacious , with everything you could possibly need. Location is perfect for shopping, dining, walking, sightseeing, relaxing. The garden is delightful and picturesque , a paradise of Adelaide Hills splendour, much like a secret, tranquil garden.
Front veranda is perfect for a serene cuppa. Beds are heavenly and the claw foot bath is pure luxury. Sleeps 6 easily, although it was perfect for us 2.
Favourite space , the dining room ! So gorgeous, stone walls and a garden view. Perfect for a romantic dinner. And the garden in the morning sun.
Dishwaher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer, open fire… list is endless!
Michelle, the perfect host, the property is a credit to you, your warmth and hospitality and eye for detail , really made our stay faultless.
We look forward to returning in winter , when we can stoke the lounge room fire , sip on a glass of Barossa red and relax , away from the world ! Thank you 🙏🏻 Absolutely nothing !
