• Magnus Jacob (9/5): 3 days in Hamra - The location was good in Hamra. Many shops and restaurants in the area. It was completely safe going out at night. Breakfast was included. Taxi to the airport was only 9 dollars on booking.com

• Polina (1/5): It is better and safer to find some other option - I liked the fact that when the other hotel cancelled my booking due to overbooking in the night Elysee had a room. The receptionist was kind and suggested to take a look at the room before booking it. It’s my bad that I didn’t recognize the mold. I though it was blackened wall paint The ceiling in entire apartment was covered with black mold. Bed cloth (not bedsheets but cushions and some cover) was super dirty. There were no towels but I preferred to use mine. The shower drain is completely clogged Of course no water, kettle etc.

The place is smelly the towels are not clean, no water in the room no fridge they say breakfast is open buffet but what u see is mortadella and labna and cheese picon. No coffee only tea not sachet in a cattel with a dirty tea cup if u want to order coffee is charged the staff is not helpful only their a lady she was nice the man when we woke up in the morning the only question he asked u Check it out at 8:00am . The shower is broken if there is something good in the hotel is the water pressure . That is my personal experience so far the worst hotel I have visited Their is no parking just drop the car in the entrance and the entrance fit only 2 cars. That experience was awful I hope they will improve .

• Marwa (5/5): - The staff were amazing and very helpful. Good value for the money. Breakfast was good, but utensils were plastic. Bathroom didn't have any towels, when I tried calling on the landline, it wouldn't ring. I had to text the staff on WhatsApp. The main door was also broken and kept making noises. Needs rennovation. The view is basically the neighbours.

• Itani (1/5): A shithole residence and corrupted owners! - Never step in this place! This is a shithole residence, stayed 3 nights, changed 3 rooms, and all were terrible, water leaks, broken bathroom, I didn't shower for 3 nights, this shithole must be closed immediately! Everything!

• Adham (1/5): A frustrating experience caused by unprofessional handling and disregard for a confirmed booking. - Nothing. I booked a one-night room for two people through Booking.com more than two weeks in advance, requesting a 3:00 AM check-in and two single beds. The property accepted all my requests through Booking.com messages, and I provided my card details. When I arrived at 3:00 AM in the rain, the receptionist first said check-in was only after 12 PM. After I showed him the confirmed messages, he claimed the residence was full and that my reservation did not appear in their system. I was left waiting and unsure what to do until he eventually helped me contact nearby hotels, where I found another room and paid again. Before leaving, I asked if I would be refunded. He said no payment had been taken, but then he was able to tell me exactly which card I had used, which suggests my booking did appear in the system, contradicting his earlier statement. The next day, I received an email from Booking.com stating that the property had cancelled my reservation. I believe the booking was disregarded because I paid a discounted Genius rate of $30, and the room was likely given to guests willing to pay a higher price on the spot.
