• Nathalie (10/5): We will come back! - The location is stunning: right in front of the sea, at the end of the peninsula, at the end of the street with just a few houses left. On our first night, we saw the Aurora, and it was already past mid-April. Nothing! Everything was fine! There is a small kitchen, not much space, but good enough for breakfast. Beautiful views from the windows, which would benefit from a few more cushions.

• Yu (10/5): Gem of a Cabin in a Tiny and Quiet Town on the Snaefellsness Penninsula - We were lucky enough to stay here for 3 nights in the middle of a March snowstorm.The cabin had amazing windows and views of the sea and mountains. We even had a northern lights show one night! The kitchen had everything we needed. We especially liked how staff came every day to check in, take the garbage, give us more coffee or towels. This stay was the best value of our 2 week trip! The cabin is small with little storage and counter space.

• Cynthia (9/5): Excellent. Highly recommend. - Excellent property! I would live in one of these if I could! Very clean. Amazing view. It was hotter than hades when I arrived, but it cooled off quickly with the windows open plus the air conditioner. The kitchen items were a great convenience. The bed literally made me laugh when I laid down because it was so comfortable. The curtain draw-cords in the living room were not quite strong enough to stand up to average pulling. I had to snap the plastic back in place 3 times. The towel heater was not working either... not sure if it was broken or just having connection issues. Not a deal breaker of course, but that would have been a nice touch.

The cleaners djd a very limited housekeeping on our 2nd night- eg they didn’t make the bed. Would be nice to have somewhere to drain the dishes after washing.
• Anne (10/5): A stunning location - Stunning location overlooking the cliffs and ocean. Free-standing cabins, so very quiet. Easy instructions to gain access via a door code. Quite pricey compared to other accommodation options in the area but worth the extra cost.

• Isabella (9/5): Beautiful surroundings - The suites are 6 little houses in a very serene area, cleverly oriented so that each house has a great sea view. We saw wonderful sunrises and sunsets from our kitchen window, and one night, the northern lights spanned across the entire sky above us. This is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of some more touristy places and enjoy the natural beauty of Iceland. When we arrived, the heating didn't work and our house was really cold. We got this resolved within a couple of hours with help of the phone number that was provided. The bedrooms are very small, too small to open a suitcase. The numbers on the huts are not easy to identify from the main access road and especially tricky to see when it's dark - one night, we had some other guests try to check into our house.

• Franz-Josef (10/5): TOP! Wahnsinnig Schön. Sehr empfehlenswert - Einfach alles. Echt top. Die Aussicht ist der Wahnsinn. Die Sitzfenster und Panoramafenster sind klasse. Generell ist alles Nagel NEU und richtig schick. Tolle Ausstattung und Geschirr in der Küche. Service und Sauberkeit waren top. Sehr gut auch um Nordlichter zu sehen, wir waren im Oktober und haben die Nordlichter super gesehen, da sehr wenig Licht-Verschmutzung in der Umgebung. Sehr ruhig und sehr nah am Meer. Jederzeit wieder und sehr empfehlenswert.

The most comfortable bed on our 17-day trip, with 9 hotels, visit! We loved the glass walls and the excellent blackout shades, plus soft curtains throughout. Got lucky with northern lights 1st night!

• Lou (10/5): Beautiful apartment with great amenities - The apartment was beautiful, with a lovely design and comfortable bed. The shower was amazing, great pressure and stocked with nice amenities. The kitchen had everything you could need, and the full blackout curtains were a plus. The couch was fine for sleeping, though not ideal. Only downside:poor bathroom sound insulation.

• Archana (10/5): Incredible stay in Hellnar - Hands down the BEST property we stayed at in Iceland. The property was extremely clean and had all the amenities you need in the toilet/ kitchen. They have fitted ambient lighting and you can control how dark/ bright you want it which really adds to the modern/ sleek design of the house. INCREDIBLE views of the ocean and its east facing so you can see a beautiful sunrise every morning. We also saw the northern lights dancing above our heads one of the nights and it was incredible. It is a 5minute walk to the hellnar viewpoint from where the hellnar to arnastapi coastal walk starts so perfect location. Definitely book this place, cannot recommend it highly enough!! One of the nicest accommodations of all of the “top end“ places we stayed on our trip to Iceland that was three weeks in length. The view of the surf from unit one was outstanding. Fabulous for time lapse photography. Staff was helpful and the place couldn’t be better. Loved it.

These are stand alone suites with a kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The view is amazing, overlooking the cliffs and water. This is a great place for people who want peace and quiet. Make sure you fill up on gas before heading all the way out here. I think the closest gas station is 45 minutes away. Would highly recommend staying here. There wasn't anything I didn't like with the suite itself. There is only 1 local restaurant in a hotel. Its not far away (in walking distance if you're up for it), and the food is decent, but you might be better off bringing your own food.

• RAFAEL (9/5): Apartamento cómodo y bien equipado. Buenas vistas y estancia agradable. - La ubicación es buena, muy cerca del mar, y el apartamento está bastante bien equipado, con un mobiliario que resulta agradable. Las camas son confortables y el baño muy cómodo. Gran televisión con acceso a apps y un rincón junto a la gran ventana desde donde ver el mar y relajarse. Nuestra cabaña no tenía una zona para aparcar el coche, a diferencia de otros apartamentos. Tuvimos que aparcar en el camino de tierra, en cuesta y dificultando un poco el paso. La carga y descarga de equipaje se hacía peor. El sistema de entrar con código cuando llueve, como fue nuestro caso, se complica porque los números no se distinguen en el visor y las teclas no marcan bien. No hay una recepción central, aunque atienden muy bien telefónicamente. Pero son cosas menores, en comparación.

Thank you. The suite was beautifully decorated. It was new and model. The bed were comfortable and the big windows showed off the unbeatable views. The house was well designed and spacious. Kitchen supplies was adequate and equipped with everything from condiments to cooking appliances. This place was perfect for our trip and made me want to stay longer. Nothing

• Michael (10/5): Incredible location that is a perfect getaway. - The location was breathtaking with views of the ocean, sea cliffs, and mountains on the peninsula. Wraparound windows provided an uninterrupted view of the scenery. Could have used more toilet paper and paper towels.

• Adam (10/5): Lage und Appartment - ein Traum - Ein wirklich wunderschönes Apartment in traumhafter Lage! Alles war sehr sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, dass der Schlüsselcode auf der Tastatur bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung am Nachmittag kaum zu erkennen war. Trotzdem war unser Aufenthalt perfekt und wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Als kleinen Vorschlag: Vielleicht wäre es sinnvoll, in der Beschreibung darauf hinzuweisen, damit Gäste die Codetastatur bei starkem Sonnenlicht leichter finden und bedienen können.

The owners have done excellent job of designing and furnishing the cabins each which have an ocean view. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom and shower was the best we had during our 10 days in Iceland.

Gli spazi sono comodi, piumoni materassi e copriletti di ottima fattura. C’è un armadio dove riporre i vestiti e le valigie. Consiglio assolutamente questa struttura non solo per la sua bellezza ma soprattutto per la posizione, su una delle scogliere più belle dell’islanda. Potrebbe essere ripensato il parcheggio, collocandolo al di sopra di tutti i bungalow in modo da non avere la vista sulle auto degli ospiti. A parte questo piccolo dettaglio il resto è stato tutto perfetto

• Wendy (10/5): Loved our stay at this beautiful property. - The contemporary cabin was gorgeous, brand new and in an amazing location with incredible views. Would suggest better designated parking area for each unit as people parked wherever they wanted and could park near a person’s unit and block their view.

• Yulia (10/5): We had great time and hope to be back one day. - Great accommodation, it gives real comfort despite the relatively remote location. We liked everything about the house. We expected to have a break there from constant driving of previous days, which we did - just hit some nearby attractions (Rauðfeldsgjá Gorge and Lóndrangar) and took a costal walk to Arnarstapi. It would be great to find in the house some information about the surroundings, such as routes, shops, restaurants, etc. This could help us not to look for the way to the beach on the wrong side of the house during pretty heavy rain :) And, just as an idea, having a vending machine on the property with some essentials would be a plus (considering there's no stores nearby).
