- Alexandra (5/5): Well-equipped with nice welcome pack, but poor ventilation & cleanliness issues were a let-down - Well-equiped kitchen and wash room (with washing machine). Spacious sitting rooms upstairs and downstairs. Good parking. Large bedrooms. Quick and good response by the agency responsible for the property on behalf of the owners. The rooms apart from the downstairs bathroom were very clean. It was nice that there was food (bread, jam, cake) and drinks (milk, water) in the kitchen on arrival. Issues in both bathrooms: Mold in the downstairs bathroom shower preventing us from using it. This was mentioned to the agency (incl. photos) and deep cleaned after we left the property (early) but will remain a point of attention as there is no window in the room only a not very powerful ventilator. Very noisy ventilator in upstairs bathroom (after we mentioned it the agency mentioned they would replace it). Very rusty soap holder in the bathroom shower upstairs (which we also mentioned to the agency). The upstairs bathroom was otherwise ok. No dryer (but this was stated in the description), but due to the fact the property was damp this would have been good to have. Once we got home we had to wash our clothes twice to get the scent of dampness out of our clothes. There is a very large dehumidifier downstairs in the property. Couch is very soft in upstairs sitting room. No fly screens, which would have been good considering the location and to air the property out at night.

The superb facilities provided utmost comfort, while the thoughtful treats from the host added a personal touch that made our stay special. Its convenient location, just a short walk from the bus stop, made getting around effortless. This charming lodge is highly recommended, especially for families with older kids. We can't wait to return!
- Una (10/5): The property was extremely comfortable with lots of space to relax. Very well located for sightseeing in North Wales and - Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped kitchen.
