• Lia (9/5): A great place for a solo traveler or pair for short trip, sandwiched between the main roads and downtown in a quiet neig - It wasn’t near lots of traffic noise or other noises other than horses and chickens. Had some nice views. Bed was very comfortable, and having the AC units in the bedroom and main space kept things nice and cool when it was too warm to have the windows open for fresh air. There are quiet hours from 10pm-7am because it’s connected to the main property and isn’t full sound proof. That was ok for this particular trip as a solo traveler, but makes it tricky if traveling with someone else or if I have to be on the phone or a video call at night or want to watch tv later. I’m more of a night owl, but it was easy on my side to be mindful of the noise requirement! It would have been a little nicer to be closer to historic downtown, but it really wasn’t an issue being a bit removed. If I didn’t have a car with me, it would’ve taken more effort to plan transportation with WeCycle and the RFTA bus stuff. Good to know for a future trip if I want to either not use a personal car or use it less during the trip. It’s great if you’re not going to cook anything more than microwave stuff and can do handwashing of dishes. A true short trip spot. There’s no dishwasher, stove, oven, or laundry on site, but I didn’t need that for this trip! Again, this is a spot for one, maybe two people tops, who will be there for a small chunk of days with no major home needs during their stay.
