Guest Reviews

- Zita Basson (8/5): Lovely place in sweet old neighbourhood with interesting sightseeing. - Very nice hostess, quaint appartment, pretty and interesting neighbourhood
The kitchenette was a welcome facility
Wonderful sightseeing and lovely heuringer close by The bathroom and toilet are very small - the toilet is barely a closet size.
The size of the bed is too big for the size of the room
Coffeemaking facilities but no milk available
Transport is difficult to negotiate from there if not using an expensive taxi. Bus terminals far.
- Harald (8/5): - Nettes Altstadtzimmer, alles sauber .Hat gut gepasst alles.
- Yael (7/5): Good - Clean and good price Room is very basic and small. I didn’t realize it is not exactly in Krems but in stein so we had to walk some distance every time we wanted to eat or take bikes
- Omar (10/5): Very recommended - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable — exactly what I needed during my visit. I came to this city to attend university lectures, and staying here made everything so much easier.
What truly made my experience exceptional was the kindness of the hotel owner. On my first night, I suddenly had severe pain in my knee and couldn’t walk. I didn’t know anyone in the city, everything was closed, and I felt completely lost. I messaged the owner late at night asking if she could help me get crutches in the morning. To my surprise, she went out of her way the next day: she borrowed crutches from her neighbor, drove to bring them to me personally, took me in her own car to an orthopedic doctor, and even managed to get me a special appointment.
Without her help, I honestly don’t know what I would have done. I am truly grateful and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. You won’t just find a nice room — you’ll also find genuine care and support.
Bus station Köchelplatz is 2 minutes away
- Karol (10/5): Exceptional -
- Volker (9/5): Superb - Good location. Toilet will not fit à 200 lbs man.
- Osama (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Grant (10/5): Fantastic value for the location and area. - Absolutely amazing location. The shared kitchen is stocked extremely well with appliances. The room was extremely cute and felt light and vibrant with the decor. Not a far walk from the train station or old town Krems (~20-30 minutes). The host was phenomenal. She made every effort to make our stay hospitable, and gave us several recommendations when we met her to handle payment. There wasn’t A/C, but that is standard across most areas of Austria. It shouldn’t surprise you if you’re staying in other areas of the country. Even in the summer months, opening the windows at night kept it plenty cool.
- Sergiu (9/5): Superb -
