He offered and drove us to/from the airport and responded immediately to all my inquiries before and during our stay. The place is immaculately clean, in a good location with many restaurants nearby and you feel very safe. Kitchen has everything! I highly recommend staying here.
• Anne (9/5): Great place to stay on Panglao Island - The apartment was great and a reasonable price for a popular tourist destination. It's stocked will all the amenities you could need and the apartment grounds were lovely. The owners were very responsive to all our questions, and Danny even picked us up from the airport which was a really nice bonus. We liked that it was located close walking distance to the commercial area but far enough away on a quiet street that the traffic/congestion was not an issue. The pool was really nice too.

I highly recommend everyone traveling to Alona beach to stay here. Apartments have a private outdoor seating area and the pool comes handy for a refreshment.

• Kristina (10/5): Toller Pool, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber - Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt und ist sicherlich das Highlight. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet! Danny und Mae waren extrem gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Alles hat top gepasst und wir können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen!

• Mei Huang (6/5): Not worth the price point for big groups, check the listing isn’t for a 1 bed apartment. Interiors need some updating fo - The staff are amazing and very attentive. Any place or stay that we wanted to go to, we were able to arrange. The location is okay, it’s close to all the main bits but you’re not as close to the beach as you need to pay to walk through resorts. Realistically, we feel it shouldn’t be advertised for 5 people to stay in a 1 bedroom flat. The air con only runs in the master bedroom & the two fans at night blowing to cool the other 3 guests sleeping on the floor in the living room was super loud & not temp controlled so 2 of our guests actually got really sick. It was cramped & the pictures on the listing made out as if there were other bedrooms which really confused us. We interpreted it as ‘one flat’ because of all the bed pics. The interior also cheapened the stay & experience with fleece bedding that felt like it hadn’t been washed & was fake Christian Dior & Gucci. The towels on the last two days smelt really strongly of smoke unfortunately. We were just on the move so much we didn’t really care to flag it as an issue in person as we didn’t have the time.

A quiet location but a close walk to restaurants and stores. Very friendly hosts who quickly answer any questions before and during the stay. Nothing.

Chris the tour coordinator was amazing as well, we were able to swim with sea turtles, go to see tarsier, chocolate hills and the fireflies and had great time! • Janne (10/5): Amazing place - We really recommend this place, the owner was very friendly and attentive, helped us with everything - even picked us up from the airport and dropped back as well. He lives nearby and answered quickly to any questions we may have had. The unit was amazing - everything you need is there (tableware, full kitchen, towels, bedlinen etc). AC is good, rooms are modernly and well furnitured, bathroom nice and new. The room was nice and tidy, it was cleaned regularly. Also the poolarea was very nice and clean.

Hay agua potable en la habitación En el baño hay pasta de dientes, gel, champú y acondicionador Siempre dispuestos a ayudarte si necesitas algo Te proporcionan toallas limpias todos los días. Hay toallas de baño y de piscina Que no limpian en toda la estancia ni cambian la basura del baño cuando no se puede echar papel higiénico en el wc. Fuera tienes unos cubitos de basura donde puedes echar todo y cambiar tú mismo la bolsa de basura. No hay mucha agua caliente para la ducha pero es la tónica general que estamos encontrando en toda Filipinas

It represent excellent value for money. I particularly liked the attention to detail the hosts have given to the fixtures and inclusions of the units, nothing has been overlooked. Definitely I will stay there again.

Vous pouvez faire la cuisine sans problème. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut, il ne manque rien. Pas de bruit , une terrasse couverte bien appréciable. La piscine est bien agréable. L’appartement est dans une résidence avec gardien à l’entrée. Rien peut être un peu sombre

I rented a car and parking was also provided by the host. I strongly recommend this place if you will be staying in Panglao.

The kids loved the pool and the play cave. The apartment was well equipped for those wanting to cook your own meals (we preferred to dine out while in Panglao to try the different cuisines available). For those wondering like us, it was a one-bedroom apartment that we had, with 2 double mattresses for the kids to sleep in the lounge which they thought was great having the TV in the room. WIFI was a little intermittent, but we managed without it.

The location is a good walking distance to explore the Alona beach area but quiet enough to enjoy a good night sleep. We especially appreciate that the owner switched on the A/C ahead of time so it’s cool and comfortable when we arrived. There were mosquitoes so it’s not possible to sit outside without being feasted on by them.

Close to shops, restaurants and laundry shop. Danny personally welcomed my whole family when we arrived. He surely made our stay enjoyable. Showed us all the room amenities and always on top our requests. Having a supply of drinking water, towels and other needs in a matter of minutes. The unit itself is wonderful and made us feel at home. With properly equipped kitchen which has all the appliance you need. They even helped with booking our tours . Thank you Chris. Danny also bade us farewell and wished us all on our next trip. We really enjoyed our family bonding staying at Alona Apartments. Thank you. Nothing.

• Denise (10/5): Beautiful well cared for property. - 24 hour security, gorgeous apartment and I felt well taken care of. Danny greeted me the first day and offered lots of info about the town. Nice pool, and beach towels and clothes lines provided. Enjoyed being able to cook and the kitchen had everything one would need down to the salt and pepper, wine bottle opener and a full sized fridge. Stayed a week and I will return! Big resort across the road won’t allow access to the beach so the walk around was 15 or so minutes.

The property features a well-maintained pool, and since our room was on the ground floor, it was incredibly convenient with direct access right outside our doorstep. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed—including cooking utensils and even waste separation bins for clean and efficient recycling. We especially enjoyed the small patio where we could relax and unwind. One of the best aspects of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere at night—something that’s not always easy to find in the Alona Beach area. The entire facility felt safe and welcoming, with a friendly security guard at the gate who also shared helpful local tips. The owners, Danny and Mae, were wonderful hosts. Danny personally greeted us upon arrival, which made us feel very welcomed. He was also very responsive and attentive to our messages during our stay, promptly answering any questions and addressing any concerns we had. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to both Alona Beach and the main street, giving easy access to restaurants and shops while still being tucked away in a quieter area. Overall, this is an ideal place for couples and families looking for a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly stay near the beach. I’d give it a solid 10/10! Mosquitoes and night flies can get into the room, but it’s relatively minimal compared to other places.

Great outdoor space in the front of the house for evening hangouts which had a outdoor fan. Every detail of the place was great, right down to drinking water provided, fresh towels reprovided during our stay, cooking amenities and hot drink amenities provided. We loved the location, as still very close to Alona beach but away from all the noise. Danny and Mae have been lovely to deal with, so very approachable and excellent hosts. Highly recommend this property. Travelling with two kids under the age of 4, it gave me confidence to allow the kids to play around on the floor as the property was so clean. There was nothing we did not like about the property and will definitely be back.

The personal service was top notch - Ritchie greeted us at the entrance, and Danny saw us in and saw us out. The pool is amazing! Not many like it, a cave area and swim up bar, and it is 4m deep in places. The room amenities make you feel like it is your own home. The kitchen has everything you'll need and more. A lot of thoughtful planning to ensure the guests aren't wanting for anything. the bedroom is lovely, and the bathroom and shower is next level. We will definitely be returning here on our next visit to Panglao; that is, if we can get an apartment! -JD & AA Netflix access issue was sorted immediately. Absolutely nothing we didn't like.

The apartment is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, down to the smallest detail. The water pressure in the shower is hands down the best we’ve experienced in the Philippines! The pool was a big hit with our kids, especially after a long day of exploring. Danny is an amazing host—always available, helpful, and welcoming with a warm smile. Highly recommended!

Was so nice to have comfy sofas and a full kitchen after staying in hotel rooms. Very comfortable bed and our kids slept well on the floor mattress. Danny was so kind to collect us from the airport and was available any time we had a question or for recommendations. A great location for a short walk to beach/ restaurants but away from the noise. Would have loved some loungers around the pool.

• John (10/5): Oasis amongst the hurly-burly. - Alona apartments was an oasis of calm amidst the hurly burly of Panglao! Our apartment comprised a kitchen/living room, a bedroom and a bathroom, with an outside area as well. There was consequently plenty of room for two people. In addition to the air conditioning there were several electric fans, much appreciated in the humidity, especially as there was an outside fan. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, cooking a full meal would have been accomplished easily if wanted. The bathroom was good, and the shower was the best we experienced in the Philippines. There were restaurants and small shops nearby. The pool was excellent. The huge sign listing the pool rules was a bit off putting when we arrived. We believe that this is the only place we have ever stayed in that felt it necessary to have a waterproof mattress protector.

The apartment has only one king bed and not another queen bed as state in the reservation. We arrived as a family of 4 people, but found 1 bed and mattresses that we had to put on the floor of the living room after moving some furnitures. Not acceptable The beach near the apartment is a privet beach of henann resort ant not accessable. If you want to go to the public beach you have to walk about 10 minutes through muddy streets.

We had a quiet corner apartment with patio, slept so well throughout our 11day stay. Well equipped kitchen with pans, plates, mixer, microwave, huge fridge. Sponges, soap, cloths and all. They gave us a tank of water(very appreciated). Quality sheets, pillows, towels. New and functional bathroom. After a week they cleaned the room and gave us new towels, they even changed the shower curtain (who does that?!?) Local boys (Chris & Rechie) always there to help you. Absolutely nothing. FYI 5 min walk to the main street for restaurants and shops. Another 15 min walk and you're at Alona beach. We rented a scooter which made everything easier.

The swimming pool is deep and right next to our rooms. And the owner is very friendly and willing to help. We didn't know that there's only one bed for two in each room. Since we have 6 people in a room, the other 4 had to sleep on the mattress on the living room floor. But the good thing is, the mattress is very comfortable and we still had good sleep.
