Guest Reviews
- Angela (9/5): -
- Tracy (8/5): - Decor and location There was no outdoor table and chairs
- Jane (9/5): Brilliant! - Accommodation and location were perfect for our visit - a family wedding. Only thing that could have made our stay better would have been the provision of an additional key to the property.
- Sue (10/5): Fantastic central location for a friends get together - Fantastic facilities, lovely comfortable beds and great communication from the owner. Restaurants, supermarkets and shops all within walking distance. Some additional cleaning products would have been useful eg, a dishcloth to wipe down the dining table and kitchen surfaces.
- Diane (10/5): Great stay in a lovely house - It was a cute cottage feel but had loads of space, very clean, had everything we needed. The courtyard was a little
Small for letting the dog out but there
Was a lovely big field round the corner to take her out
- Emma (9/5): -
- Peter (9/5): -
- Diana (9/5): Good location for town centre, comfortable beds - Spacious and bright , facilities adequate for what we needed Parking !
- Cardle (8/5): - It was warm, comfortable and an excellent location. One single bed was too close to the wardrobe. One bathroom mirror was too high and some if the white towels were very grey. A welcome pack of basics bread milk etc. would have been nice considering we paid over £700 for 3 nights.
- Coleen (10/5): Beautiful Cottage in great location - We were very happy with our accommodation at Coachway Cottage. The location was perfect. We are a family of 8 from Sydney Australia visiting family in Ilkley The Cottage was perfect for our needs. Francesca the host was very quick to respond to our questions and very welcoming. We would highly recommend Coachway Cottage for a stay in beautiful Ilkley.
- Helen (9/5): -
- Helen (8/5): Ideal location for train station, heritage walks, and the Dales Way - Prompt and courteous communication via email and text When we booked the accommodation we were led to understand we could have one of the king size beds made up as a twin to accommodation 8 family members, 4 in twins, because siblings, not couples. But this was declined, despite the beds looking like they could have been made up this way, with the right bedding. Also, the sofas could do with better fitting cushions.
- Gill (10/5): Great stay, will definitely come back. - Great location in the heart of Ilkley. Really comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and plenty of space to hang out. The hot tub was a bonus. We hunted high and low for hairdryers and eventually found one. Perhaps there should be one in each room.
- Karen (8/5): We had a great time probably made better by the location. Just no views because of the location but - Location was excellent in the centre of town The bedrooms would be better with more options for twin beds. The towels were a little worn
- Craig (10/5): Perfect for our needs - Location perfect for our work
- Jayne (8/5): Good - Location Bed line smell to strong of fabric detergent garden needs make over
- Helen (8/5): Nice house in a perfect location. - Location of the house was perfect. Very close to the town centre and the riverside park.
Good sized rooms, easily accommodated 5 adults and 2 small dogs.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (6/5): It's 'ok' and would be 'good' if they improved the beds - It's clean, it has all the facilities, it's well located. Mattresses were poor and uncomfortable, felt like old low cost sprung. These days you can get memory foam mattresses at very reasonable cost and they would be miles better than these. Duvet would not fit in cover, cover was completely open at one end. So although there is much to commend the property, the vital thing is a good, comfortable night's sleep.
Loo seat , cheap plastic and light. Again it hardly costs anything to do this well.
I'd much rather have good beds and no hot tub. I let a house out myself. It is vital to do the simple things well.
- Ricky (9/5): Lovely base in the centre of Ilkley for a group. - Great location, well appointed and comfortable The bedrooms would benefit from blackout curtains in the summer as it was very light very early.
- Kate (8/5): Good value. We would stay again. - Great location in the heart of Ilkley. Modern decoration. Marvellous shower. Loads of TVs and crockery. Good to spread out our group over 3 floors. Only one parking permit for accommodation for 8 people. Poor quality pillows and bedding plus thin curtains affected our sleep. Dirty cutlery. Debris under sofas. Bathroom lock didn’t lock!
- Sue (10/5): Great property in a great central location - Lovely property great location for shops in Ilkley, and the train station.
we were on a walking break so ideal for our group. There was nothing we didn’t like but We would have liked access to a vacuum. And a bigger or print out of the map to show where we could park the car
- Robert (7/5): Good - Location was great, nice house and layout, ease of access and leaving Beds were not comfortable, which is hard for more than one night. If they replaced the mattresses, new and better quality this would be a 10/10.
- Emma (10/5): brilliant house would def recommend and stay again - location and facilities
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean and comfortable with lots of space for everyone x x Parking bit of a pain only one permit provided which is difficult with different groups /familys arriving separately x
