Guest Reviews
- sameer (6/5): - No views from this particular unless you stand outside on the deck and look over the hedge.
- Anthony John (8/5): Relajado y conveniente para pescar - Acceso al lago Trawsfyndd para pescar. NA
- Pia (10/5): -
- Yoki666 (6/5): - It is a hut. That is all
- Lin Jing Zheng (9/5): Amazing stay we had and lovely location - Great location- Jamie was an amazing host and always replied on time and was happy to help with anything Not criticism but the WiFi could be improved in terms of speed and better pressure for the showers
- Diane (9/5): Confortable et bien situé - Un espace privé et calme

- Kevin (7/5): Overall it was lovely there, but maybe next time we will choose another log cabin purely for the sofas - Location was absolutely lovely overlooking the mountains Sofas were very hard and couldn’t get comfortable on them

The cabin itself was beautiful so cosy...Just what we wanted
The host was brilliant very helpful and responded quickly
Views are spectacular
- Emily (7/5): Great place to stay - It's a very quiet and cozy. There is lamps inside the bedroom that can become bright or dim, great for reading. It's warm once completely heated and a great retreat if you want to just get away for a few days. Beautiful area, there is a shop in the area so you don't have to travel for groceries. The fridge was leaking and there is not much room to move around. It is very far away from activities, taxis cost 30-60 so you would definitely need to plan ahead what taxis you are going to use if you don't have a car. It's quite small so would not recommend if you are 6'0 or over. Hard to find where you are staying but there is a map by the shop area that is helpful.
- Jero (10/5): Cozy place - The cabin was so clean and cozy Everything was nice although I hope theres toiletries like shampoo and body wash. Otherwise, all good.
- Marco (9/5): Great family stay. - Location, clean, hoste is very responsive.
- Kim (10/5): Peaceful - Comfortable, peaceful, clean, calm It was a little out of the way if you wanted to go anywhere without a car
- Adam (10/5): - Great Communication, clean and cosy accommodation and great location for exploring. On site shop was also really useful. Nothing
- Shannon (6/5): - The views that's literally it. Toilet was broken and had balance whilst doing the duty. A nail coming out of the skirting in the kitchen my husnbad cut his foot on it. Our bed is a big single and we had to out mattress on the floor as the base made it on an angle. We checked out early. The front door is broken so has a. Large gap at the top which meant cold air was constantly coming in so we was dry with all the radiators having to be on constantly. Windows were streaky and the step going up into the cabin is water damaged and old so it's loose.
- Samuel (10/5): - Everything, the cabin was cute, cosy and well supplied.
The views outside are amazing, the whole journey up through Brecon,Mid Wales if you can do it is outrageous.
There is a cafe/restaurant on site and reception there were lovely and you can pick up frozen food and snacks etc Nothing, the fact we couldn't stay longer was something I didn't like

- Pei san (10/5): Cosy and comfortable cabin - The cabin is clean and cosy , a good stop near Snowdonia National park
As there is no restaurant nearby , prepare food for the stay , there are good utensils in the cabin N/A
- Louis (6/5): Ideal for a one night stay but be aware of the sleeping arrangements. - The cabin is ideally located for a weekend away in Snowdonia. Onsite parking and has cooking facilities should you need them. Jamie, the host is very responsive and accommodating ahead of arrival. The cabin was clean and tidy upon arrival. Following the hosts instructions the cabin is not hard to find as some other reviewers have mentioned. The main bedroom has a small double bed which is extremely soft and not comfortable for two adults. There were a few small maintenance issues, such as a wobbly toilet, which since the stay, when notified, the host informs me are being rectified.
- Jim (10/5): -
- Mike (8/5): - Place of our own with excellent layout, facilities and a parking space The shower could have been a little more spacious
- Sarah (9/5): -
- syka (8/5): Lovely place to stay - Lovely location and lovely chalet.
Abit small for a family of 4 but nice other than that. Freezer space was small
Lounge area was quite small for 4 people.

- Irene (7/5): - Gezellige Cabin, dichtbij prachtige natuur. Erg kleine slaapkamers met klein dubbelbed.
- Martyn (8/5): Very good -
- Stewart (8/5): Holiday - Overall it suited what we required. Dog friendly, close enough to amenities we may need. The cabin itself was comfortable enough to relax in. It's not a criticism but would have preferred a blind on the bathroom window, as with the curtains I felt they didn't close adequately for my personal needs when using the lavatory.
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Georgiou (9/5): Superb - Great little cabin, has everything you need
- Archanaben (9/5): It was nice relaxing stay, - Location Nothing
- Sayeed (7/5): Good - Smallish rooms
- Jordan (7/5): Good -
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb outstanding experience - Excellent log cabin with everything you need for a great stay, great communication with owner, wish we had booked longer would highly recommend. Nothing at all
- Sheree (3/5): We felt ripped off and disappointed. - It was warm and clean. We were told that we had to pay an additional £60 non refundable for cleaning for one night’s stay and advised when we were on a ferry from the Isle of Man that no towels would be supplied and we were asked to strip our linen. This made our stay awkward to say the least. The pictures on the Booking.com website showed a misleading version of this cabin. There were excessive odour masking items all over the cabin which left an overpowering sweet smell in all the rooms. I would recommend that if a family booked this cabin they only have small children as it is very small cabin.
- Angelo (9/5): Would stay here again. - Great views and the host was very accommodating. The shower would run cold then run scorching hot then back again, over and over again. Would have appreciated the Wi-Fi access in the instructions that were sent.
- Mehdi (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy and nice property. A bit far from shops and places however nothing too bad
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (9/5): Superb -
- Athena (10/5): Would stay again - Nice layout of cabin , clean , everything except towels was provided , there was WiFi and Netflix , plenty of parking A little hard to find , it’s little further inside and nestled in between the other cabins .
- Brilant (9/5): Lovely place, peaceful and quiet. - Cafe at location was never open for our duration of the stay
- Tobias (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clarke (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing - Very clean and look and looked after
- Elisa (10/5): Brilliant - The cabin was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay here last week.
Communication from the owner pre arrival was brilliant with all the information needed (although it wouldn't allow me to reply to you on here) we found the cabin to be very clean, cosy and comfortable.
Great base for exploring North Wales.
We would definitely stay again, thank you for having us 😊
- Ben (8/5): Very good - Incredible views, very cosy
- Rafael (7/5): Good -
- Denton (10/5): Cozy Cabin for a great getaway - Beautiful Log cabin, nestled amongst all the greenery with a balcony and view of the mountains. Clean and comfortable. Lovely peaceful family getaway, wish we had stayed longer.
- Charles (9/5): Cozy launch pad for the stunning landscape of Snowdonia. - Beautiful location - a perfect launch pad into Snowdonia. Lovely holiday village of log cabins with a shop and cafe on site (food in the cafe was really quite good). The cabin itself was clean, comfortable and cozy. Not big but great for a two adults two children and a dog for a few nights. The host, Jamie, was really helpful and communication was clear and timely. Most importantly we forgot our tea, but were relieved to find tea, coffee, biscuits and milk at the property - life saver after a few hours in the car with the kids. Would most definitely stay again. One bulb didn't work. That was it though and it had no real baring on the stay.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Evelina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (9/5): Superb - We only stayed for one night and arrived quite late. But the park was pleasant and cosy and the views were amazing. Nothing I can think of. The shower cubicle was a little cramped.
- Sharanya (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! Loved how cozy the cabins were. It had everything we needed. Beds were really comfortable. We all loved the stay and had zero issues. The host was very quick to respond but had already given us all the information we needed. Check in and out were very smooth. Would definitely recommend to our friends! Zero complaints.
- Robert (10/5): First class stay yet again ! Our 3rd time there .. comfortable stay - Lovely setting Everything was excellent
- Uberdan (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Very good - Location was beautiful, the host was very attentive The bed was a bit small
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Fantastic break.. very comfortable and clean can’t wait to go back - Clean very comfortable Nothing everything was fine
- Freya (9/5): Perfect little escape - So cute, everything you need perfect location to drive and climb Snowdon! Nothing
- Paul (10/5): Recommended - Great location, very quiet, very clean, great communication and our request for arrival was done. Had some issues but solved by owner, thanks. Not obvious how to find... When confused, take middle road and it's 100 yards further.
- Charlie (8/5): Very good -
- Ram (10/5): Exceptional -
- Genevieve (10/5): Fantastic Cabin - Fantastic property, it had everything we needed. Great location. The cabin was immaculate. Brilliant location
- Carolyn (8/5): Lovely stay in a cosy clean comfortable lodge in a great location - The lodge was clean and tidy and tastefully decorated, we had a lovely little terrace with patio set, on entry there is a nice separate room for eating and relaxing, the lounge and kitchen area are small but cosy with a little fire effect electric fire, Good working radiators in the room. The kitchen was well equipped, kettle, toaster microwave and the host kindly left us tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and long life milk and some packet sauces. We also had washing up liquid and sponge, hand soap toilet rolls and tea towels. The double bed was lovely and comfy as were the bunk beds, the shower was a bit small but ok for a quick shower it was nice and powerful and did the job! You have to bring your own towels. Small gravel area for parking at the front of the lodge. Overall a lovely stay. There is not anything negative that we can say about the lodge! As for the site the bins provided are only in one area by reception which is not near the lodge, we drove our rubbish there a we left on our last day. The on site cafe cannot be relied on, it has limited opening hours and only a couple of food options, however there are some lovely pubs in the area, the Bryn Arms is a must if you like country pubs, 10 mins drive away!
- Martindale (9/5): Superb - It was very homely. I felt relaxed and at home while I stayed there
- Xiaoli (9/5): We had a great time! - It’s clean and cozy. Small but has everything thing that we need. Great location with easy access to major attractions. Nothing in particular
- Harshad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (10/5): A fab short break away in a beautiful part of the world. - Fabulous base for exploring some amazing places in this part of Gwynedd. Great site for dogs/lovely dog walk area. Quiet site which suits us. Loved being surrounded by birds and bees! Bring your bikes if you can. Midges - bring spray and citronella candles.
- Rajdeep (10/5): Beautiful and Cozy place :) - This is such a beautiful, nice and cozy property. We absolutely loved it. The lodge was clean and nicely equipped on arrival. Jamie is a brilliant host. He sent us all the details beforehand. We would definitely go back. There is nothing honestly, that we didn’t like.
- Daz (7/5): Good but could be great - Location was great Slept on top of bed as long black hairs over sheets, had to remove wasp nest from bathroom and toaster broke
- Hulse (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (3/5): Poor - Signage on the site is very poor, arriving at night in the rain made finding the cabin extremely difficult.
Getting an email less than 24hrs before due arrival to say that they don't provide towels for the shower, probably ok in most cases, but we were on day 3 of a 4 day road trip, so unprepared for this information.
No basic hygiene facilities provided, disappointed to find no toilet paper supplied.
Very poor.
- Kirsty (8/5): Very good - Cosy and peaceful Wasnt much on the actual site could do with more on there for kids to do and the restaurant that was there only accepted card. Not all the heating worked in the cabin but did get warm with what was available. Hot water to wash the dishes lasted 2 minutes then went cold so stryggled to wash all the dishes in one go.
- Jones (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maciulaitis (10/5): Great - Really good location. Cosy and worm cabin. Have everything you need for the family weekend holiday in Snowdonia.
- Steven (9/5): Very nice if a little expensive but worth it. - Handy for the cycle park. Nice setting. A notification above the storage heater made it unclear if I had to pay extra for the aditional electricity we were using. This caused some anxiety.
- Peter (10/5): Perfect stay and highly recommend this to anyone - Property was everything you could ask for it was clean and everything you needed was in there perfect There was not a thing wrong about this property
- Anonymous (10/5): Excellent value for money and very peaceful - Well kept, nice and clean. Situated a stones throw from bike park wales!
Will definitely rebook
- Najeeb (10/5): This cabin felt like a setting straight out of an episode of Twin Peaks - Comfortable, Cleanliness, Facilities, Friendly owner Not the greatest view from here but got a decent view from the decking.
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Don't arrive in the dark - Everything you needed in cabin. Nice deck area Don't arrive at night. Took us 30 mins with torch walking round site looking for cabin. Rang for assistance and no reply. Disappointing.
- Wing (9/5): Superb - It's a great location near walking trails because it's only 7mins. drive to a forest park for walking and cycling. It's about 30 mins. drive to Barmouth. Also, the cabin is very clean. None
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
