• Soeraida (9/5): - Het was even zoeken naar de locatie want je zit aan de rand van de jungle. Wat weer een heel avontuurlijke sfeer geeft. Een beetje afgelegen van restaurants en vertier.

• Ruth (9/5): - We had such a lovely stay at Winstar Homestay! We arrived late in the evening and hadn’t managed to eat beforehand. There aren’t any restaurants nearby, so we asked if dinner would still be possible. It was no problem at all - they quickly cooked up an amazing vegetable curry and rice for us, and it was absolutely delicious! The garden is like a little jungle, which made the whole place feel really peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were so friendly and genuinely caring, always making sure we had everything we needed. They also helped us catch a bus the next morning to Dambulla. Would definitely stay again! 😀

They made us dinner which was only 1,000 LKR and breakfast is included and both were delicious. The room has everything you need and it’s in a good location. The treea around the house are beautiful. Highly recommend such good value for money!

• Goutham (10/5): Amazing home stay in Sigiriya - The homestay is in the middle of the nature & paddy fields, that you wake up to the sound of chirping Birds every day and that I found really amazing. It is about 2 km from the city centre & you can always walk in that beautiful path (or the house owner has his own tuktuk and he really gives amazing prices n discounts). The house owners are really hospitable & they made delicious food all the time. I had asked for breakfast & dinner, they always made sure a huge feast of amazing food was on the table at the time I asked for. They always ask if you need something & then cater to all your needs lovingly. If anybody is travelling to sigiriya, I really recommend this place for staying. Nothing I can think of
