• Benno (9/5): Ruhig und Idyllisch für einen ruhigen entspannten Urlaub - Der Gastgeber hat ein Paar angestellt, das sich sehr viel Mühe gibt um den Gast zufrieden zu stellen. Das Frühstück ist einfach und man hat anhand einer kleinen Karte eine bisschen Auswahl. Die Lage ist wunderschön am Strand und am morgen kann man auf seinen Mini Balkon mit Meerblick frühstücken. Eine wunderbare Ruhe hat mir gut getan Eigentlich nichts, vielleicht die Entfernung zum Dorf ca.3km entfernt und dort gibt es auch einige Lokale die man zum Abendessen ansteuern müsste. Ich war mit dem Mietwagen unterwegs und daher kein Problem. Tricycle kann man natürlich nutzen die man gleich nahe der Unterkunft findet.

The location is ideal for travelers who want to be close to the sea and enjoy a quiet, local vibe. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers the essentials with heart. There’s a shared kitchen and a snack bar. Breakfast was good. The rooms are simple but clean, with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and basic amenities like a TV and fridge. The staff were warm and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. Do note that can smell a bit fishy due to the proximity to the shore, and it’s tucked away from town, so finding it may take a little effort. Still, a peaceful spot for quiet beachside rest.

Nous étions les seules clientes et ils nous ont préparés un dîner et petit déjeuner sur le pouce. Le lit était confortable et la vue directement sur la plage. Il y avait de l'air conditionné. Les alentours de la pension sont très sales et remplis de détritus.
• Bennie (10/5): - My favorite in San Vicente. In a little fishing village with a beautiful view out the room window and balcony. It's on a white sand beach that offers good swimming. Jay and his wife were excellent hosts. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with a nice flat screen TV. Internet was fast also. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from town with restaurants. I highly recommend this place. We will return again soon.

• Gergo (9/5): Nice place and I would definitely comeback with my ear plugs. - The room was very nice and the air conditioning was a life saver. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were great. I had a very nice view from the window and sunset was amazing on the day and I arrived. The owner was very helpful and he suggested the best nearby beaches. He also helped me organise my trips to the nearby islands. I think it’s not the property‘s fault, but there was a problem with the water every day. The water supply was cut off for some reason and I was only able to take one shower in four days but luckily on the last day they brought me a bucket of water and that helped with everything so I was very happy. Also, my room was very close to the fisherman’s hut and they start around four or 5 o’clock in the morning and they arrive on motorbike so maybe bring your earplugs if you don’t like the sound of shouting or motorbikes.

The atmosphere is peaceful and laid-back, making it ideal for a relaxing stay. I found the bed very comfortable and up to my standards, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. One suggestion would be to ensure that the shower room or bathroom is kept dry to avoid any risk of slipping is just a minor point for safety. Overall, I found the stay to be well worth the price. The sunset views were stunning and truly memorable. Tony, the owner, was very accommodating, and Roy was incredibly helpful throughout the stay. Cheers to both of you and thank you for the warm hospitality! looking forward to see you guys again in the future… 😊👍🏻 I believe there’s an opportunity to enhance the surroundings of the property to make it more visually appealing and welcoming for the guests. I had a conversation with Tony about this, and he shares the same perspective. While I understand that it may present some challenges, I’m confident that it’s achievable with a collaborative approach. It’s important to work closely with the local tourism office and the fishing community to ensure that any improvements are inclusive and considerate of all stakeholders. The key is to provide reassurance that any planned enhancements are intended to benefit everyone involved both the community, the property owners, and the guests. I personally appreciate the presence of the fishing community, and with open communication and shared goals, I believe we can achieve a more attractive and harmonious environment for all.
• Valerii (1/5): 2 дня проведенных зря - На фото все красиво ,но когда приехали и поселились,мы поняли какую большую ошибку мы сделали.дороги в деревню практически небыло ,после дождя все размыто ,ходить не вариант. Вид с балкона на фото очень красиво,а на самом деле ,у тебя под балконом соседи филлипинцы,у которых туалет открытого типа ,хижина их и шум, гам бесконечно. Пляж весь заставлен лодками рыбаков ,купаться не вариант,кормили завтраком,по просьбе приготовить обед или ужин,сказали нет такой услуги. В номере небыло горячей воды, администратор предложил ходить принимать душ в соседней номер,вместо того чтоб починить в нашем номере или переселить нас. Снимали номер на трое суток,решили выехать на вторые сутки,так как все не соответствовало и проблема с водой,на просьбу вернуть нам деньги за сутки проживания,получили отказ от хозяина отеля,писали жалобу в Букинг,но решения ни какого небыло и мы просто уехали. Не советую этот отель!!

• Inessa (8/5): Alt i alt et veldig koselig sted med noen svært gode og snille verter. Svært ryddig og rent rom. Anbefales fordi som søk - Vertene var helt fantastiske! De var svært vennlige og hjelpsomme gjennom oppholdet vårt. De hjalp oss med å organisere transport og kom med kom med gode anbefalinger. Vi hadde mange fine samtaler med dem og koste oss gløgg. De inviterte oss også med på spenstig filippinsk drink. Rommet var også svært ryddig og rent. God service. Det var spennende å få bo tettere på lokalbefolkningen. Folk var svært vennlige i landsbyen. Fordi stedet befinner seg i en fiskelandsby er det en veldig sterk fiskelukt ute (for de som er sensitive for slikt). Man er også avhengig av tuktuk/scooter for å finne steder å spise etc. Men dette er et prima sted for de som vil bo tett på lokalbefolkningen og bort fra turisme.

• Jenny (7/5): - Seaside Blue Inn (formerly Selim) is a relaxed hideaway from the bustle of tourist spots in Palawan. Based in a friendly fishing village, the house has 2 rooms (try and get the right hand as you face the sea). A balcony overlooks the sea, boats coming in and fish sales. This is great to watch & slows your pace of life right down. The owner, Tony & and Cook Elizabeth (with lovely wee baby) are welcoming. The breakfast is small but varied. Tea & coffee are available. Water & other drinks can be purchased. The view & sunsets are wonderful. There were new puppies, cockrels & cats. There are no bars or restaurants but they will cook or you can cook in the kitchen area. The room is small but with good facilities. Overall, it was a great escape. Get there while you can. There are massive tourist development plans afoot. The other man who works there is rather grumpy!

Si te quieres mover, ellos llaman a un toktok y en pocos minutos esta en la puerta, el desayuno siempre esta listo a la hora que necesitas y te gestionan actividades desde island hopping hasta tours terrestres.

Nous avons loué un scooter à des voisins pour nous déplacer car le centre et la plage sont à quelques kilomètres. Je recommande vivement cette guesthouse. Sabine et Stéphane.
• Boris (1/5): SCAM, BLACKMAIL, INCOMPETENCE... - After SCAMMING us for $1500 the owner also attempted to BLACKMAIL us with his apparent connections in the tourism industry. Apparently to silence us and extort more money. Keeps trying to dodge the responsibility for his scam, even though we have proof that he's the one who scammed us, and was owning the property for years. What he called "destroying his property" is a few drops of water on the floor after showering. Because they never thought about waterproofing of their bathroom, and every drop eventually lands in the kitchen below 🤷‍♂️ Book here if you want more drama in your life. Otherwise.. neighbors "Acuario" is practically the same location, but cheaper and somewhat safer, with less trash and more brain. I must WARN about the location though: a lot of concrete blocks and construction garbage underwater, broken BOTTLES, rusty NAILS. I got lucky and only punctured my toe finger through, but avoided the bottles. And I don't even want to comment on their services...
• Boris (1/5): STAY AWAY!!! - BEWARE: The owner of this property has SCAMMED us for about $1500. And they just kept trying to play us, as if we were not guests but some kind of trash. After long debates in the end NO MONEY NO STAY, and we had to pay again just to have a roof. Even then, the place is very shabby, nobody comes here. They didn't even clean our room since other visitors were here some weeks ago. The room is tiny. The shower has only two modes: cold and too hot to use it. Electricity is unstable. WiFi had no internet access. Smells from the toilet freely enter the room. The kettle keeps cooking until you unplug its cord. The beach is littered with trash. To visit a store or restaurant you have to walk 30 minutes to the town, because there's no trike drivers working on this side.

• Manon (8/5): Gerne wieder, wenn Ruhe und wenig Tourismus benötigt wird. - Wer auf seiner Reise etwas außergewöhnliches Erleben möchte, ist im Fischerdorf im Selim Guesthouse sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir waren für eine Nacht in San Vicente und konnten ein positives Fazit ziehen.

Номер очень чистый, есть все что нужно для комфорта: микроволновка, холодильник, столик, телевизор, чайник, розетки. Интернет хороший, на телевизоре есть netflix, youtube можно смотреть фильмы на русском языке. горячая вода льет как надо. Так приятно было засыпать и слышать легкий шум волн, очень тихое место. Единственное кафешек в этом городе не много, если вы приезжаете вечером в отель, лучше возьмите еду с собой или заранее попросите хозяйку что то приготовить Расположение Чистота в номере Вид из окна на море (окно во всю стену) Парковка Тишина Большой телевизор с Youtube Есть кухня, тарелки и приборы можно попросить Быстрое заселение Хороший интернет

• Ruzgus (9/5): - No tourists. Fishing village. Live like the locals do, with all the comforts of home. There was a party next door with the music blairing all day and night. Not the fault of the guesthouse. Otherwise it was nice. Stayed an extra day.
• Emanuele (5/5): Overrated and overpriced - - sea view - hot water - air conditioning (even if extremely noisy) - microwave (but we couldn’t use because there was no adapter) - fridge (even if dirty and bad smelling) - total missing of contact with the host - no cleaning or towel change in one week - the door got broken twice, the second time we had to enter from the window for 2 days, they didn’t repair it - shower drain not working at all, was pretty disgusting - view from the room nice, but from the balcony you can see a working open air toilet - staff completely unprepared to host and provide even a smile - host totally absent, does not reply to messages and is not in the guesthouse - we felt extremely uncomfortable with the family, they never said hello or give us a smile (except the niece of the host, whom would need basic trading of hospitality) - breakfast ridiculous, 2 scramble eggs without bread (equivalent of about 3€) - price extremely excessive for the service offered

Отзывчивые хозяева, всегда делали всё для комфортного проживания, в комнате шикарное панорамное окно с видом на море, большой плюс холодильник, всегда есть охлажденные напитки и удобно хранить продукты... На кухне всё есть для самостоятельного приготовления пищи и классных посиделок за ужином, так же с видом на море.... В окрестностях полно диких пляжей, это именно то за чем мы сюда приехали. Байк обязателен, мы приехали из Пуэрто-Принсесы уже на нём. Парковка есть... Короче круто! Может единственный не большой минус, маленькая комната....
• Uwe (9/5): Mittendrin statt nur dabei... - Diese Lage direkt am Meer. Die Nähe zu den Locals. Mittendrin. Die E-Trikes fahren für 20 Peso in 10 Minuten in den Hauptort. Wäsche waschen im Guesthouse war zu teuer. Der 30jährige Neffe, der unser einziger Ansprechpartner war, ist vielleicht unerfahren, jedenfalls kann er an Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft noch eine Menge arbeiten. Er hat mit uns eine Bootstour gemacht. Allerdings hat er keine wirklich schönen Riffe oder Strände angesteuert. Das Boot ist auch recht klein. Ein Abenteuer für 4 Stunden (1.500P) zu zweit war es trotzdem.

• Erica (8/5): Tramonto mozzafiato - Questa guesthouse si trova a 6 minuti di motorino da San Vicente ed è collocata in un paesino di pescatori. La stanza è fronte spiaggia e questo permette di godere di tramonti stupendi sul mare. Anche l’arredamento è nuovo e c’è tutto l’occorrente per un soggiorno confortevole. La camera è pulita e viene rassettata giornalmente. Il personale è giovane e sempre a disposizione per aiutarci. Perfetta se si cerca un’esperienza a contatto con la vita local e diversa dalle solite mete turistiche. Purtroppo sia di notte che di giorno la zona è piena di insetti chiamati ‘sand flies’ minuscoli e difficili da individuare. Inoltre la struttura essendo aperta da poco ha bisogno ancora di un po’ di organizzazione per accogliere al meglio gli ospiti.
• sofia (9/5): - tenía nevera, pantalla gigante y microondas, se agradece para cocinar, zona común para cocinar estaba muy bien, con libertad de usar sartenes y platos nosotros pensamos que era port Barton pero realmente estaba a casi 2h el pueblo era bonito pero era esencial moto
• Gazep Hakan (9/5): - köy içinde ,denize sıfır, gün batımını odadan izlemek inanılmaz keyifli. oda içi 3.5 yıldızlı otel gibi. gayet temiz. internet iyi. filipinler ortalamasının çok üstünde. çalışanlar nazikler. köy insanları çok nazik. güzel bir deneyim oldu. konumu biraz uzak… köy hayatı, tozlu yollar, 1-2 kertenkele size göre değilse, burası size uygun olmayabilir. biz sevdik.
• andrea (10/5): - ottima accoglienza. Julius ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Abbiamo dormito con il rumore del mare in sottofondo. La vista dalla camera è spettacolare.
