- Rachael (2/5): - If you are after friendly service I wouldn’t stay here If you want to use the pool I wouldn’t stay here Beer bottles in the garden and footpath when we arrived, no signs to tell you where to go to check in. No one to check us in on a Saturday afternoon had to call a number. No explanation about the motel, facilities or restaurant just a hand gesture pointing out the room we had been allocated and the staff member walked off. I am a bit perplexed how this place is still operational with service like that. Also got told two different stories about why we couldn’t use the pool our kids were pretty disappointed. Tv remote an air con remote both had flat batteries work we used our own spare batteries to be able to turn both on. Do not recommend

- April (8/5): - room was good, we booked last minute and got a good deal through expedia. first room we were put in the AC didn’t work (it was 42 degrees this day) so the staff moved us with no issues. bathroom and showers clean, pool area could be better maintained but it was good for the price we paid

- Idris (10/5): - I know shared bathroom can be turn off for lots people but this hotel is great, shared bathrom is clean, beautiful view of whyalla beach, great restaurant. Most definitely affordable for the budget.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Cleanliness was good but a few things were lacking like no handtowel in bathroom, the chair was broken on the armrest the said coffee machine was not there and the exhaust fan was missing its cover. However it was very quiet and the bed was ok.

At the time when I booked the room on wotif.com there was no information about communal bath toilet facilities or not that I saw anything about it so was not aware of it I am not keen on communal bath toilets for that reason I would not stay there again Also windows on out side was very dirty did not make photos to clear could use some TLC
- Mark (4/5): - In most cases would be 3* but marked down as in a room that overlooked small courtyard into kitchen, so no privacy had to have blind closed all the time. Although frosted glass in bathroom, felt vulnerable given courtyard. Many other rooms appeared available. No reception, premises locked late afternoon, had to ring number on door for a staff member to come. Bedside Lamp did not work, globe not working in bathroom. Fridge beside bed froze everything (temp set on exactly half as you would with most fridges) spoiling drinks and clunked and clattered in the middle of the night disturbing sleep. Remote for air con required persistence to get it to work. No minor room service during stay so glass, teaspoon and mug need rinsing every day, as not replaced with clean ones. It was not beach view as said in advertisement and NO free Wi-Fi is provided also as advertised. Evacuation map on back of door confuses as it was more than a decade old and rooms numbered differently or it is too confusing to understand. Knock all these issues out and 3* would be about right. Back entrance inconvenient, enter through fire door that requires one fully free hand to open as it doubles up as fire exit and needs to be secured from outside, making it mean more trips back and forth from vehicle which are parked under carports you have to walk up a ramp to. Staff were very friendly and accommodation was clean. Meals were excellent. Just a pity the room could have been a bit better.
