- Debbie (10/5): Cornish paradise - Very welcoming couple and a lovely cream tea waiting on the table.
Very excellent position. Use of private patio with views of Fistral Beach. Easy walking distance to Fistral beach. Good walking distance to Crantock Beach (via short ferry ride). This isn't a dislike, but it is cosy as described, so put your stuff in small bags to take advantage of the storage under the bed.
- Kim (8/5): Lovely Hideaway with everything you need for a short stay in Newquay. - Amazing view, quiet and not far from our friends and family who live in Newquay Decking was a bit dodgy in places (a couple of boards sank down when you stepped on them) Hard to see bottom steps when you walk down them after dark.
- Hawkins (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning views. Friendly staff who were happy to let us arrive earlier..offered advice where.to go.
Good location. A little walk to the beach There wasn't anything really..
- Jenny (8/5): Lovely Little Getaway - Great little place for time away.
Very close to Fistral beach (5 min walk) and into Newquay town was about 15/20 mins. So all very close.
Apartment was small but we knew that when booking and we weren't disappointed.
Gareth is very friendly and accommodating.
Very nice host. Dogs are allowed to roam the garden, which is very good. However, if they mess on the back lawn, I feel it would be quite difficult to access as there were brambles and plants in the way of getting to that area.
One last thing to be mindful of. The first full set of steps leading to the decking...if you come home at night, the lighting doesn't reach these last few steps (before you reach the main decking) I missed the last step a few times as you just cannot see the it at all and my husband actually went down after missing it too.
We spoke to Gareth, and he was apologetic and said he would do something about it.
If you do come home at night, there are 10 steps. Count them as you walk!
Couldn't find a dustpan and brush to clean up a bit after our stay. I usually like to hoover or sweep up just to help out a bit.
- Ed (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (8/5): Beautiful views. Good parking - Excellent location with views over Fistral Beach The ceiling is quite low. Not a problem for me but anyone over 6ft may have to stoop a little
- Sian (10/5): Exceptional - It was in walking distance for places to eat/drink
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): We had a wonderful stay, amazing location with a fantastic view! Just perfect! Thank you! -
- Erika (9/5): Superb - The fantastic location with great walks, the beach and Newquay on the doorstep. The views were stunning. Waking up to the sound and view of the ocean. Nothing at all.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Great location
Great views
Great place
- Paul (10/5): Location and space inside the appartment. - Location...walkable into town.. and beach... as we traveled with a dog lots of coastal walks close by.. a nearby hotel 200yds had a bar and bistro with lovely food.... and the views from the property were superb. N/A
- Kat (10/5): Great getaway - The who area was amazing if you liked paddle boarding and surfing , even for walking Was all good
- Rhys (6/5): Great location, dog friendly. But I’m 6 ft so had to crouch to walk around the room. There was also a bad smell that wou - Great location with an informative host. Small ceiling, had to duck to walk around. The property had a bad smell that wouldn’t clear.
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annie (8/5): Review of Fisteral hideaway. Good pet friendly accommodation with beautiful view. - The location and view was beautiful. There was parking on site, lovely shower and sleeping facilities and most importantly pet friendly with a secure garden. The ceiling was very low within the accommodation, which we were not aware of prior to booking. Anyone over the height of 6ft would struggle to stand up straight without bending for doorways and being mindful of smoke alarms on ceiling.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - The property was beautiful, has everything you need and is so clean and comfortable. The view was amazing to wake up to in the mornings and the hosts were so welcoming and happy to answer any questions during our stay! We will definitely be back
- Lee (9/5): Cozy - Beautiful view. Felt secluded near town. A throw on the sofa would've been nice.
- Matt (10/5): A perfect stay - Everything was perfect. The welcome pack explained everything we needed to know, check-in was easy, the accommodation was warm, cosy & exactly as described. We met the owners in passing, and were made to feel incredibly welcome. Our dog Piper loved the enclosed garden. And most of all, the beautiful view of Fistral Bay from the patio decking was absolutely stunning. We were able to check out later than initially planned to make to most of our time there..
All told, the stay surpassed our every expectation. We'll definitely be coming back again. Nothing at all.
- Ben (10/5): 10/10 - It was a fantastic location, very easy check in and check out would defo come again Nothing
- Anonymous (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable - Lovely view, nice and comfortable. Nothing
- Sheila (10/5): Exceptional - Host was prompt to answer any queries. Location was superb with views of Fistral beach. Apartment was well set out with very good facilities. Struggled to find the key safe but only because it was camouflaged by the colour of the concrete.
- Shaun (10/5): Very Very Good - Very Clean, Very Easy to find , Very Good Instructions upon arrival, Beautiful Location especially if you are a surfer , Big Garden and Pet Friendly our dog couldn't be happier , close enough to the centre of town for necessities but far enough away if you like it more quiet, Very Nicely decorated all round really good stay and 100% would do again and recommend.
