Guest Reviews
- Nathan (8/5): With everything said, I would stay again. Thank you - Check in was easy
Location was great
Ideal base to see the local area
To cheap, you need to charge more.
Would definitely pay more to stay here if the negatives were met. Mattress could do with an upgrade even a decent mattress topper would go along way.
Thicker duvet would be better
- AdzfocusST (10/5): - Excellent location, lovely and spacious spotlessly clean Nothing
- Helen (9/5): Everything we needed for our flying visit (only here for two nights) - The host was friendly, helpful and efficient. The place was well stock, clean and lovely. The duvets were thin and we were both cold at night. We could have put the heating on but that seemed like a waste. A thicker quilt or second summer quilt would have solved the issue.
- Susan (10/5): It was a lovely stay lots to see as never been before and we are thinking of coming back next year. - It was very clean and very spacious Nothing as it was just right for us
- Courtney (3/5): Disappointing - The caravan was very homely, in the perfect location and has lots of potential Not very clean, there was mould and rust in the lining of the fridge so I didn’t deem this usable, our weekend ended up being a lot more expensive then intended as we ended up having to eat out for breakfast lunch and dinner because the facilities didn’t feel clean enough to use to cook and eat with, the cutlery draw was lined with dirt and the cutlery was stained and also a hair within the spoons. There was a fair bit of dust and cobwebs. The cleanliness really let the caravan down as I’m sure with a good deep clean it would be lovely! Spoke to the owner about the issues and was told it would be forwarded to the cleaner but that didn’t change anything for our visit unfortunately

- Paul (1/5): Disappointing, making our visit very uncomfortable. - Allowed our dog Bobby to stay. Had a secure balcony which allowed him roam if needed. But sadly, the bad out weighed the good. When we arrived the facility was not clean, previous occupants food was left in the sink, the bed covers were not renewed or cleaned, hair in the shower plug hole, dining table had food smears and various other unclean issues. The owners sorted the cleaners to sort these issues out but meant we didn’t gain access until several hours after check in time and after it was cleaned bogies were left on doors. When we were to use the hot water it tripped the boiler so no hot water was available throughout our stay (we had to boil a kettle to wash). Apparently “an on going issue that was going to be sorted”.
- Paul (8/5): We had a comfortable, relaxing break. - The property was clean, cosy and comfortable. Well equipt with most of what you would need. Main bedroom mattress was a bit bouncy for us but not enough to affect our sleep badly.
- Teresa (7/5): Good base, well - It was clean and tidy. Bed uncomfortable. Shower head fell off a few times. Husband fixed bathroom window as when shut had a gap around it. Loose tv bracket on outside of bedroom above gas bottles rattled all night.

- Lisa (8/5): Really enjoyable lovely lounge and kitchen and shower - Location and outdoor space.
Lounge and kitchen fab x Mattresses were springy with a little padding on the top, either Old or well used.
Couldn’t park right next to the caravan and had a lot of stuff to bring up a slight grass slope
- ramsay (10/5): - Clean, good value and great lo action. Nothing.
- Greg (9/5): Cosy, comfortable Sandown caravan. - We had a very relaxing mini break at Pebbles. The caravan is in a quiet part of the park. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the decking catching the evening sun. We found the caravan cosy, comfortable and very clean. It was lovely to be provided with towels. The owners provided us with comprehensive instructions and directions and we were even allowed to check in early. The caravan is an easy walk from the train station and the beach, there is a small convenience shop opposite the park which came in handy for the basics. There is an outdoor pool and restaurant/bar at the park which we could've used but didn't feel the need to...maybe next time as we would definitely stay again. We felt that we could've stayed for longer.
- Nicola (9/5): We would definitely stay here again :) - Had everything we needed for a weekend visit. Site was super quiet. You can walk down to town (Dinosaur Island museum) and beach. We were lucky enough to have hot weather so we loved the pool. Was impressed by ensuite in double bedroom! And the shower is fantastic. One or two items not 100% clean (one used mug in cupboard, my pillow case had mysterious stains) - we’re not fussbags so I only mention it as some people will flip out at such things!
- Mayuran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sreedhar (8/5): Very good -
- Tyron (10/5): Clean, calm and comfortable - Clean and relaxing, great location in park Could have done with more cooking utensils but still full marks
- Matthew (10/5): Relaxing and close to seaside attractions - We all enjoyed the seaside themed decoration and the video selection. A very comfortable and warm caravan. My dog and I enjoyed wandering along the bridlepaths. Our learning difficulties son enjoyed the beaches and attractions. There was no actual address given by either Booking.com or the owner - just a postcode - and directions from the owner once we had found the site. This was confusing and didn't help the satnav.
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - Very homely, every thing you would need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Good dvd selection a bonus
- Sheila (10/5): Exceptional - Very helpfull from owner Allowed in early
- Sally (9/5): Cosy caravan in a peaceful area. - Very quiet and peaceful. Small campsite with swimming pool (although didn't use the pool). Caravan had everything we needed and was warm and cosy. Nice little decked area outside which was secure for my small dog. Everything was great except for the cutlery which has seen better days.
- May (9/5): Great - It was very nice and clean and good location quite The only thing I would say is the property door was a bit hard to get out if you was in a rush as it was hard to open sometimes but other than that no problem
- Gaynor (9/5): Superb - The van was cosy..clean..and everything needed was provided..beds were all ready made..towels provided..awesome.. even tea towels...and the decking was smashing Nothing
- Caroline (1/5): Awful - would definately avoid this site and caravan - We were told there was no gas when we were already on route. There was no heating and we were absolutely freezing. There was no hot water, no microwave to heat food and no gas to cook food. We had to eat out. We went to the site restaurant to be told
It’s closed only open on Sundays 2-4pm! No swimming pool it doesn’t open until May! Then the site started work at 8am right outside our caravan. When we did get gas on the Monday afternoon the boiler would not start up - we finally managed to have a shower only to find there were
No hair dryers - the cutlery was old
And lost its colour and starting to show rust.
- Eleanor (4/5): Would not stay again - The site seems to be full of people who live their all year round. They weren't overly nice and seemed like we were not that welcome. The pool was empty and we couldn't eat at the club as it was closed for a private event.
We were stuck with no gas all weekend so we could not get warm, have a shower or cook. Not ideal for a hiking weekend.
There was not even a shower block to have a shower in.
We.did get a very small refund after requesting it but it didn't really make up for no gas all weekend.
The caravan was very clean and comfortable though.
Would visit the isle of Wight again however I would not stay here again.
The shop opposite was very helpful and pleasant. There is a wonderful chip shop in Sandown, one of the best I've ever had.
- Ankita (4/5): Disappointing - Places Not provide basic thinks
