The view from the bedroom window overlooking the beautiful countryside was amazing! The property was ideal for a quiet stay away from all the hustle bustle of the city. There was tea and coffee amenities available. Would definitely recommend this property. Everything was perfect about this property.

I attempted to dialogue with the owner via Whatsapp. They refused to pick up the phone on 2 occasions. I messaged them to discuss a change to the check in time, although the outcome was favourable to the owner, it didn't really work out as convenient for us and they never bothered to contact me when we were actually present at the property to discuss this issue during our stay. I left disappointed in that. The accommodation was fine for what it was.

• Karen M (8/5): Just what we needed for a couple of nights close to Cirencester, in a beautiful area - Lovely peaceful location - no sound except for the wonderful dawn chorus. Fabulous big bath (and shower) in a very nice bathroom, with plenty of towels. There's only a small shared fridge in the kitchen - so if multiple people are staying and are all self-catering, it's too small! Catering facilities are pretty basic, so again if multiple guests are cooking there will be queue for the frying pan/hob!

The amenities were well provided, including a fully equipped kitchen. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the host was very responsive. The stairs are quite narrow and steep, which may not be suitable for guests with large luggage. The floor is slightly sloped, which could be a bit challenging for elderly guests. The bathroom is private but located outside the room along the corridor; however, this was not a major issue.

• Neil (9/5): Fabulous location with lovely views - This is a room only place but there are facilities for food prep if you need that. The thing that struck me most was the location; it was away from traffic noise and the sounds of Cirencester. All I could hear was the birds and the occasional happy horse. Fantastic oasis of calm. You have to expect the floors to be a bit sloped given the age of the property, and a private bathroom is nice but without ensuite getting up in the night is more of an event.

The horses were chatty in the morning - even though I wasn't bringing their breakfast - a lovely way to start the day. Being surrounded by acres of grass and horses is the kind of escape that big city people need from time to time. The hosts were adorable and helpful, and the other guests were absolutely respectful of everyone's spaces. Nothing at all!

You arrive at that gate and use the code(the code is sent on the day of arrival, very easy!) the drive up to the farm is lovely and the sight of the horses add to the quiet atmosphere! It's so quiet and tranquil, the birds don't start singing before 6! Will definitely be booking again! Don't be put off by the shared bathroom, as long as you've decent people to share with(I didn't) the bathrooms are quite beautiful.

Lovely to open the curtains in the morning and see rolling fields and horses. Very spacious bedroom. Well equipped shared kitchen. Outside seating and table available in the garden if you prefer to eat outside. Large Lidl store a quick drive away.

Didn’t like that the bathroom was shared with another ion and missed that only the time of booking. Didn’t like how thin the walls were and that you can hear everything from the guests down the hall! Didn’t like that my husband had a cold shower as my bath used all the hot water! No alternative tea bags or drinks available.

The location is ideal for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, and the farmhouse itself is everything you’d hope for and more. Anne Marie was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, always greeting us with a smile and a friendly chat, which instantly made us feel at home. The farmhouse truly felt like a home away from home, and we genuinely didn’t want to leave. Our bedroom was stunning, with breathtaking views that made our stay even more special. We’re so glad we chose the farmhouse over a hotel, as it really felt like we were experiencing authentic Cotswolds life. Everything about Furzen Farmhouse was amazing, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a group of friends to base yourself for exploring the area. Large dining table in dining/lounge downstairs. It wasn't clear in the description that the bathrooms are shared - two rooms share each bathroom. The kitchen is shared too, but the fridge and freezer are large domestic and there are lots cookware, bench space etc.

Nous avons aussi apprécié de pouvoir nous servir de la machine à laver le linge (moyennant un cout supplémentaire). La proximité de la nature et des chevaux est très appréciable. Le partage de la salle de bains et de la pièce principale avec les autres chambres peut être un peu dérangeant quand on n'est pas habitués comme nous, mais c'est classique en angleterre.

• Veronica (2/5): Total misrepresentation of what you pay for - The setting is beautiful and would be very pleasant if there as a group using the whole block and you were not misled into thinking you had a private bathroom and you were told in advance the other facilities were downstairs and shared with strangers. We booked over a year ago and the rooms were clearly listed as 2 holiday homes; 2 x double room with private bathrooms. When we arrived the self check in sheet states ‘you will be sharing a bathroom, hopefully this is not a surprise as it should have been obvious at time of booking!’ Well, it was a surprise as it was blatantly advertised as private bathrooms. It has obviously happened to other guests otherwise it would not have said that on the sheet. At no point did it state the kitchen area, dining area, amenities and so on are shared with other people downstairs. The so called private entrance is no such thing as it is shared with the other occupants. It says the rooms are sound proofed but again this is hugely misleading as we could hear every footstep, word spoken and door opening/closing by other occupants of the guest wing throughout the night. We emailed the owner regarding our disappointment and concerns over misrepresentation and showing details of the original booking and he said he agreed that the description is incorrect (it has now been changed) and he said he was not sure why booking.com had done that, said he would see what he could do to put it right and would get back to us. Over a month has gone by and he has not bothered to reply. Extremely disappointing. We use booking.com regularly and have never have had cause to complain before.

• ian (10/5): Easy to find and a nice overnight stay - Location was perfect for me , and it was really quiet , hosts were friendly, if I am down that way again I would stay there Nothing
• Carolina (9/5): Wonderful, restful stay at the farmhouse! Beautiful surroundings for a short walk and sit around relaxing. Perfect place - The quiet Cotswold cottage perfect for rest and refreshment. Lovely sitting room for meal and chat with my friend. Love the garden. Not too busy during the week of our visit, we felt very much at ease, exceptionally enjoyable! The kitchen is functional, it works for us as others aren’t cooking, but maybe on the small side if all rooms occupied. It worked really well for us this time!
• Catherine (7/5): 4 foot bed for 2 people? Otherwise, lovely place and lovely people. - This was a lovely place. The hosts were lovely, the location was lovely, the facilities, (bathroom, kitchen, sitting room, etc.) were all lovely. The shared bathroom was huge and only shared with one other room, didn't cause any issues. Parking was a bit tight for a bit car, but not a problem. The views from the room were gorgeous and even the horses were lovely. Free WiFi, we didn't try it, but it was there. It's a shame I have to moan about this, but we had Room 2, which is described as having a "large double bed". Completely untrue, it wasn't even a standard double. It was a 4 foot bed, I measured it. And strangely, there were 2 duvets of differing weights, but both singles. It would have been just great for one person, but for 2 people it meant we didn't sleep at all well - no space. I would not have booked it if the size of the bed was given correctly.

• Cristina (8/5): Increïble! - El lloc és tranquil, agradable i molt net, instruccions molt senzilles per entrar i sortir. La casa és una cucada i s'hi està molt molt tranquil. L'Andy i la Anne Marie són molt amables i t'ajuden amb tot el que necessites. La nostra habitació era un xic petita per dues persones, no ho vam tenir en compte a l'hora de reservar. Hagués agraït tenir cortines de foscor total a l'habitació.
• Maria Laura (10/5): Like home but in a super cute farm, I highly recommend it! - It gives home vibes, super clean and cozy It’s so silent you could hear other guests breathing 🙈 but it’s not necessarily a bad thing!
