Guest Reviews
- Jayne (10/5): - This is a very spacious and comfortable home. Everything you need is there. Absolutely spotless. A lovely welcome hamper was appreciated. Lovely court yard to sit in. Close to a bus stop if needed. Slight downside, parking is tight, especially if you have a biggish car. Also, a few homes down have a few dogs that were barking and howling at times, which can spoilt it if sat outside. I wouldn't let this put you off, though, as the excellence of the home outweighs this.
- Jim (10/5): -
- MaryJo (10/5): - Accommodation was excellent and very clean and comfortable. Brilliant location to local buses. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
- Rosalyn (9/5): Comfortable holiday base - Well thought out property with everything you need for a comfortable stay Surrounded by houses. Difficult parking for large vehicle
Was a bit dusty - found dust in mugs on mug tree.
Crockery tasted salty after using dishwasher.
- Lynne (9/5): An attractive, quirky property, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. - The property was reasonably easy to find. It was private and not overlooked. The outside area was attractive and ideal for sitting out. It was secure. Inside was very clean, well-equipped and the beds were comfortable. Linen was plentiful. The property is surrounded by houses and has no view. The parking space is only just big enough. Every afternoon nearby dogs howl and bark. The property would benefit from a hand rail in the shower and one or two more upright chairs for visitors with back problems.

- Faye (10/5): Lovely, spacious house in a great location - The house is a really good size, plenty of space in the main living area. Loved the outdoor space as well, perfect for sitting out in the sunshine. Also just a short walk to local amenities. Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay!
- Khirstie (8/5): Family break away - Lovely property which was fully equipped. Decorated nicely. The property was also wheelchair/crutches friendly, which was needed during the stay. Lots of things to do a short drive away. Lovely hamper on arrival which is such a kind gesture! Thank you☺️ The switch on the kettle was faulty and the property was a little smaller than expected but still lovely. Parking for only one car, which could be a little tight at times.
- Liveing (10/5): Great stay - Excellent barn conversion with immense attention to detail. Comfy beds, beautiful spacious bathroom and good sized rooms, extremely well equipped in a lovely quiet location close to 2 nice beaches.
- Sarah (9/5): Wonderful stay at Bootleggers Barn. Everything you could possibly need and more! Spotlessly clean and would definitely s - Very clean and spacious. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Nothing! Only small issue we had was the kettle switch doesn’t work properly.
- Dawn (10/5): Relaxing stay at Bootleggers - We loved the location and staying at Bootleggers was so comfortable with everything you would need for a stay, relaxing, quiet. With amenities so close by and most of all being able to walk to the beach. The only negative were the high stools.
- Linda (10/5): A charming and beautiful place to stay with all the home comforts and very helpful hosts. - It was an amazing place to stay with all the home comforts. The property was beautifully presented and well laid out and the hosts were very supportive and helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this property. Nothing
- Anonymous (9/5): Fantastic and such a pleasure. We would love to visit again! - The property was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and was equipped very well. The decor was tasteful and all the extras were very well thought through. All the TVs were smart TVs and there were other tech items such as a Nintendo switch. The only thing missing for us was equipment for a young child (such as a high chair or plastic cups, plates and cutlery for example). We did state on the booking that we were coming with a 2 year old, but there wasn’t anything there to cater for such a young guest.
