• Darren (10/5): - A lovely bright house with a newly landscaped garden which we got to enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked so you won't have any problems making dinner . The beds are comfortable and so are the living rooms sofa and chair . There is also a spacious dining table which adds to the feel at home characteristic of the house. Parking was arranged by Diana , which was much appreciated. It is less then 5 minutes walk to the town centre where there are plenty of restaurants and bars . I highly recommend this listing. Nothing of note comes to mind

Wonderful furnishings throughout - exceptionally clean and it has everything you need and more (really appreciated the milk, juice and cereals on arrival!) Communication was great, instructions were very easy to follow and because you can walk everywhere in Stratford upon Avon, it was great to be able to park right out the front and leave the car there for the period of time you’re visiting. Wonderfully equipped with lots of really welcome extras - coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereals, condiments and Penguin biscuits! Excellent Wifi, TV with all the channels and apps you could want. Really quiet street and managed to park right outside, there was plenty of spaces. Was perfect for our needs and was very well equipped with all details thought of. Beds were very comfortable and the little extras such as milk and orange juice were really appreciated. The house had been dressed for Autumn, decorative pumpkins left on the dining table and in the fire places, it made my 5 year olds trip really magical.

House is always decorated accordingly to season, this time we had some pumpkins and autumn leaves. It is on little street so no noise from street, gives a good, peaceful sleep. Owners always make sure there is everything in the house what is needed for a short stay, tea, coffee, cereal, milk, juice. Absolutely brilliant place to stay. 😊 Thank you so much.

• Lisa (10/5): An exceptionally lucky find in a lovely house, very close to the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon - Diana was a brilliant host, quick to respond and very helpful. The house was very clean, decorated nicely and had the amenities you would hope for with self-catering, including coffee, tea and a pint of milk. The beds and showers were great and we ate our breakfast in the lovely back garden. Free parking was brilliant, and I was lucky enough to get a space right outside the house. Location-wise, the house was very central and only a 5-minute or so walk to the start of the shops etc. I would definitely stay here again. Nothing - it was all perfect.

• Judi (10/5): Practically perfect in every way! - The cottage was perfect. Very clean with everything you could need and a great location. Tea, coffee, milk and juice were provided plus breakfast cereals, eggs, biscuits, butter and even ground coffee. The kitchen was really well equipped with plenty of basic oils, spices and seasonings. Overall it was the perfect base for a short break. I couldn't fault it. Very much looking forward to coming back.

A wonderfully laid out two bed resting place with two bathrooms and a wonderfully equipped kitchen. It's quite clear that Diane loves the house and tries to give everyone who stays the experience of it being their own home. A truly wonderful stay! Nothing. Ok maybe the main bed creaked a bit, but after all this is Stratford on Avon!

Kitchen equipment- well stocked. Two bathrooms are a plus. The welcome pack was much better than most. Garden looked pleasant although we didn’t get chance to sit out there. More than one set of keys given to property- a must for independent folks, and car parking available on street if owner is informed. There was a big step downwards into the upstairs bathroom. Perhaps this could be marked out in some way for we older people as the visuals don’t stress the drop.
• Vincent (9/5): Not a traditional cottage, but really great - Very well equipped. Lovely owner. Two high quality shower bathrooms is pretty good. Near town centre and theatres: easy to walk though we have to contend with sciatica. Comfy beds, nice showers, excellent decor, up to date, stairs were steep but stair rail was safe and sturdy. Lighting well-appointed, good fans, plenty of power sockets and charger sockets, looked newly done out. We are filling out the negatives bit as well as these positives, but our overall impression having come home is that it was more than fine, and we'd happily do it again. Didn't really know what to do with refuse. Bin lorry came as we were departing but had not been instructed. Also, it's a small point, but the property was advertised as Wisteria Cottage yet proved to be midterrace. We know that technically that is ok but in terms of expectation it simply is not a cottage and did not need to be misleadingly so-called. Perhaps, having read up on this now, the term terrace cottage is more the mot juste and would not leave room for disappointment. It's a fabulously good place for a short stay, but using that term just took the edge off it a tiny tiny bit, since we came expecting something else. In other circumstances, this might have been more of an issue, but everything else was good or excellent. The keybox caused us problems, but that may have been our fault, and the owner immediately offered to replace it. We'd like to say it exceeded expectation, which in many, many ways it did - but we can't, because we were expecting a traditional cottage. We've decided to say yes to the question about meeting expectations, because in every other way it did, and exceeded them.
