- Henning (8/5): - Great calm area. Private. Host were super helpful and kind and quick to reply. Spoke good english. We are very happy with our stay here and the help we got. If you want a private, calm stay that still is just a quick motorbike ride to the bigger towns or tourist attractions on both the western and eastern part of the island this is a great spot. I would stay here again. Since the private beach is on the northeastern coast a lot of debris and plastic garbage would float in very quickly from the mainland most days (depending on the wind and waves of course, some days it was very clear water!). Maybe this also depends on the month of the year, but during this time (end of nov start of dec) atleast it was a problem for us. They cleaned it regularly, usually daily, but it would get just as littered again the next day unfortunately. The beautiful beaches and clean waters on the westcoast is just a 10-20 min motorbike ride away though.
