• John (10/5): We enjoyed relaxing and hearing the birdsong. - The cottage is comfortable and set in a peaceful shady garden, which was welcome in the hot weather. Colin was very welcoming and helpful. There was nothing we did not like.

• Lorna (10/5): I recommend Birdsong cottage to viistors looking for comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation - We enjoyed our short stay at Birdsong cottage. Its well located within a few minutes walk of several restaurants as well as the older, historical part of Swellendam. The cottage is situated within a beautiful garden. under trees and was cool in the summer heat. It also has a fire place for winter evenings. We noted that the cottage was tastefully styled and the pictures were an accurate reflection of how it looks. The king sized bed was very comfortable and had quality bed linen. Colin was a great host, friendly and informative. We would stay there again.
