Guest Reviews
- Kirsty (6/5): Immaculate and comfy but water issue. - The place was immaculate. Simple but very well fitted out. Does what it says on the tin. We visited in May, it may have been early in the season so this may be a reason for the only issue.
The water was extremely smelly, rotten eggs / sulfur. The issue was raised but disappointing feed back from owners.

- Hart (10/5): Perfect hideaway site - Really well kitted out, lovely location, clean, warm and adjustable, and homely.
- Trevor James (10/5): Relaxing -
- Eleonore (9/5): Lovely peaceful cabin - Really cute cabins, the shared bathroom had lots of available toiletries which was very much appreciated. The cabin had all necessary cutlery and towels, would come back without a doubt!

- Burns (10/5): Ahoy there! - Quietness and cleanliness Knives weren't sharp enough in the kitchen and one blade kept falling out of the handle

- Louise (10/5): Fantastic - Loved our stay at this beautiful unique place. - Fantastic location - beautiful views of the countryside with animals and a lake. Unsinkable had everything we needed, we drank wine on the decking with board games looking out at the views. There was homemade shortbread, milk, jam, tea, coffee, sugar which was a lovely extra. Loved everything.
- Mike (10/5): Highly recommended. A simply beautiful area with a superbly laid out site. The individual pods are fantastic, well thoug - A stunning view from the site. Very quiet and peaceful. Superb use of recycled materials and small details covered that make a difference. Also fact a car charger now onsite was one of the facilities that swayed my decision to stay
- Benedict (7/5): Good - Great concept for an accomodation, creatively designed. The site itself feels like it is getting a bit overcrowded so if you are after a real stay in nature this probably doesn't quite work.
- Julie (10/5): Short but excellent! - Excellent location. Easy check in. Clean, well stocked facilities. Extra touches (biscuits/+dog treats.). Lovely decor. Basically loved everything about it and will be back adap Hmmmm......... No can't think of a single thing 🙂
- Philip (10/5): brilliant stay thank you very much - perfect everything good
- Martin (10/5): Lovely and amazing! - A very beautiful place, definitely worth visiting and staying. The rooms are awesome and a class of it’s own, as the hosts are! Unfortunately, we found this beautiful place at the end of our tour and could not stay any longer. The hosts spoil you with everything you need! The environment and the region itself are very beautifull with many options to spend the day in Dorset with all its beauty. Don’t miss the Pub Winyard’s Gap for the diner or just for a drink! We'll be back very soon! Many thanks for the great hospitality! Nothing!.
- Kim (9/5): Peaceful and scenic location - This is such a beautiful, peaceful location. The consideration to the local wildlife is a top priority here. The accommodation was quirky and the owner let us look around his new projects. We will definitely be back.Hopefully with athe sunny weather 😎 Personally having to walk to the toilet when needed, but it was not a problem.
- Tristan (10/5): Perfect break - very unique and charming, incredibly quiet and peaceful. Taxi there and back from Yeovil can be expensive if not prebooked.
- Lisa (9/5): Different. It was lovely. - The quirkiness of the stay. We stayed in the unsinkable. Everything thought of. Toilet block spotless. Very dog friendly and welcoming.
Home made shortbread tea coffee milk and jam all provided. The deck was lovely to sit and watch the ducks! Directions to the camp. The postcode covers quite a big area. It would be worth adding to go past the big house and the industrial estate before seeing signposts.
- Prendergast (10/5): Exceptional - Class place, value for money and owners were sound.
- Catherine (10/5): Fantastic stay on a unique boat! - It was so unique! Thoughtfully designed with lots of details that really made it special. Setting was fantastic, view of the lake and lambs in the field nearby.
Fantastically equipped with basic supplies e.g. tea, coffee etc plus welcome gift of brownies! Shower and toilet block was very clean and again well stocked with toiletries - little extras that made a big difference. Nothing - wish we could have stayed longer, hope to be back!
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ellie (10/5): We can’t way to come back in a month when we re book! Perfect for our dog she didn’t want to leave. Lovely location and - Had everything we needed. Nothing
- Rikky (8/5): Love this place - Love this glamping location, been here before and stayed at Station Master which in my opinion is a better place to stay. We want to stay in all the different lodges, the bus will be next for us.
The boat was cosy and quirky. Staying on a boat without the seasickness, result! Love the little details the owners go into, the fantastic brownies, milk and staples they provide, etc. There wasn’t a radio or any games that were in the Station Master. It was a little cold (we did stay in February), there was plenty of heating tho. The sofa is very disconnected to the kitchen so we think a spring/summer stay would be better to use the outside facilities.
- Jeremy (10/5): Never a more comfortable stay than on an Unsinkable boat! 😁 - A great stopover run by really helpful people that are building a new business. The boat was very comfortable and very well equipped. We found they'd left a couple of delicious brownies that went very nicely with a cup of coffee! As a start-up, work on landscaping the surrounding grounds is on-going.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stacey (10/5): Perfect little quiet spot. I only wish we had been able to stay longer - Everything! Location, facilities, clean, little extra touches 😃 Nothing it was great! Could just do with a little outside light on the boat deck.
- Rachel (10/5): Perfect cost couples stay away, beautiful location, a break from the norm, would highly recommend! - Loved everything about it, attention to detail was impeccable. Everything you need. Bed was really comfy. Shortbread and jams where absolutely delicious. Really clean. It was lovely and cosy. Nothing.
- Kayleigh (8/5): Very good -
- Jerome (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - The tranquility and location.
- Jeremy (10/5): Relaxing, amazing, beautiful. - It was amazing, it was so peaceful, the boat was designed beautiful in side and out.
