Guest Reviews
- Wendy (4/5): - The location was right down town. There is a smell when you walk into the lobby. I thought I was in a nursing home at first. Self check in so an empty front desk was strange even with a 5PM check in. I was expecting a nicer hotel for the price.
- Justin (5/5): Fairly priced for a place to lay your head but thats about it. - The beds were comfy Pool was closed, side door which was the easiest access was closed, room smelled musty, breakfast was only 4 terrible options of cereal, baby muffins, baby donuts, and bagels. Heat/ac was very outdated and full manual so it was either really hot or really cold.
- Phillip (8/5): Cedarville Motel - Very clean and the staff was very helpful.
- Ken (6/5): Good have been better with breakfast that was promised. - Breakfast was awful. No milk, no juice, no juice. Named above.
- Colby (8/5): -
- Zachary (3/5): Not a great spot, in an area without many options. - Located not-too-far from the waterfront and a few restaurants, but a short stretch of highway to walk along before you can get there. Paper-thin walls, could hear an entire conversation next door. Stained furniture. Dated. Water from faucet in lounge was extremely metallic and undrinkable. Overpriced for the quality.
- Wendie (6/5): - The location was good, the breakfast skimpy. Most 2 story hotels have an elevator to carry luggage. My brother had surgery a few weeks begore our trip & had problems scaling the steps. While the staff was helpful, they were hard to find.
- Dennis (2/5): -
- Shorter (5/5): -
- Rhonda (10/5): -
- Nikkirae (10/5): - The staff was very accommodating and kind. Nothing
- Dickerson (10/5): -
- Richard (8/5): -
- Douglas (8/5): - location was okay. TV wasn't working, husband went to front desk and gal came to room to help us. Ended up the service was not working and the gal got us a different TV and helped up get it working, she was very sweet.
I do have to say the bed and pillows were comfy. The Breakfast was a joke, a few bagels (no jam) & containers of cereal. I ask if there was any fruit, and the looked like a manager said their supplier hadn't come yet, ummm the grocery store was about 1/2 a block away.
- Minh (7/5): -
- Dorene (8/5): Good place to stay on our way to Drummond Island - Location is walkable to town Very limited breakfast
- Bryan (7/5): Introvert's dream - This place is an introvert's heaven. Check in is done completely online, even getting your room number and entry code! Most extra items you might need are provided right there next to the front desk like fresh towels, hair dryers, irons, and toilet paper. No need to ask for them!
Staff is very friendly, and if you need to get a hold of them, they will leave their phone number at the front desk.
Internet speed was pretty good too as they use Starlink and I only noticed a drop when a few severe thunderstorms rolled through. Now, keep in mind that this place has recently changed ownership and they are working on renovations so this part may not apply for long. There were several unknown stains in the hallways, the pool was completely closed off, and to access the laundry facility required walking across some sketchy plywood covering some kind of holes in the floor.
Also, though it was advertised as having a microwave, none was found in my room. Not sure if it was only my room missing this or if they haven't gotten enough to provide every room with one, but there was a microwave available to use in the breakfast area.
There are also very limited food options nearby and no big fastfood chains less than 30 minutes.
- Karen (7/5): - Exactly what we needed for our family reunion. The manager Hannah was super nice and accommodating. Clean room & clean hotel. Nothing fancy but perfectly fine for a stay in the UP.
- Kliewoneit (7/5): -
- Susan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Wanda (4/5): I would not stay there again. No phone, clock, 5 digit code to memorize to get in room. It was clean - Coffee The breakfast was sparse, juice machine broken.
- Allen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional - Pet friendly
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- Evan (7/5): Good - Price was good, hotel was dated but very clean beds were comfortable and there was enough parking for a truck and trailer There was no food out for breakfast
- Brian (3/5): Will find another place next time. - No elevator to 2nd floor, pool not operable, smelled bad, no service at front desk
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Bethany (8/5): Very good -
- Jackson (8/5): Pleasant and beautiful location. - Great location as it was close to family and located in and near very nice small towns. It needs some updates. Has a lot of potential. If the pool was up and running it would do a lot for the value for the price I paid.
- Lorna (10/5): The staff were very friendly. - Sparse, just coffee, donuts and bagels. Also apples. Could use more choices.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cindy (9/5): Enjoyable Stay - The Cedarville Hotel had super friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and was very clean. There were games and books in the lobby, which was a nice extra detail. Breakfast could have been a little more substantial.
- Toni (5/5): Passable -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
