• Yerchan (10/5): Excellent - The history of the house, that's been kept and presented perfectly. The feeling that used to be/maybe still is a warm family home. Clean and everything needed was available.

• Robyn (9/5): We all liked staying at Idlehour the house & back yard & amenities were great & very central. - good location, inside house all good,, we appreciated the quick heating, the kitchen was well supplied, the , far reaching views were great. the smoke detector in the front hallway went off ringing during the night. There was no apparent reason for this to happen The mattress in the 'pink' room sagged in the middle, otherwise soft & comfortable. The shower could not be used in the main bathroom We noticed white ant activity in the outside timber walls. As we have had white ants do considerable damage in the past to our home it ca be a very real problem. We would like Idlehour to be there for a lot longer.

• Catherine (8/5): Super comfy, family friendly and perfect for a long weekend! - The central heating was warm and made the weekend really comfortable. The kitchen was really well stocked with equipment. Beds were really comfy! At a pinch, I’d say it would have been great to have better kitchen knives. And the firewood left was a bit damp so it wouldn’t catch. But these are nitpicking items!

• Francis (6/5): Pleasant - Location, quiet and plenty of room. Agent responded to a plumbing issue promptly, and was good with communication. Bed old and roll into the middle. Had a mattress topper that was soft and comfortable, however not good when rolling into the middle when sharing the bed. Strange booking in system as requested to send photo of license and credit card including cvc to enable identification and $200 bond. I refused and the agent was responsive with alternative arrangement to attend the office. Clearly sending photos of above details is a security issue in my humble opinion.

• Edina (9/5): Superb - The character and size of cottage, level of cleanliness, great location, comfort and cosiness of home (especially the dining area and lounge room). The garden is beautiful too. We loved it. We just couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi.
• Maree (9/5): Superb - location was great and only a quick walk into town. We liked all the little extras in the pantry and kitchen which made it feel like home. The beds were super comfy, the place was clean and quiet. Central heating was a blessing for a cold windy weekend. Should have had a shower installed in main bathroom rather than just the one in the laundry bathroom.

• Jo (9/5): Famtastic place to stay in the mountains. - Excellent location, walking distance to Katoomba’s Main Street. Also a very comfortable place to stay. Appreciated being offered a late checkout. The gardens could do with some work.
