Lovely place with all the facilities/amenities you need to be comfortable and well-equipped with bedding, towels, kitcheware, etc. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and nicely decorated, very clean and tidy. Found the lady on the phone I had to get the code from a little abrasive, including the message she left me but once I explained I was having issues with my phone and hadn't got her message she was fine. Suggest getting better lights for the 2 bigger bedrooms as not very bright. Otherwise, all very good! Thank you, lovely place, and will definitely recommend it.

• Sandra (9/5): A quick trip for the Potts classic - would have to have stayed longer - Great house in a lovely quiet area. Great cafe a minutes walk away and cycle/walking trail right there too. No Wifi but we knew that beforehand

• Tina (8/5): An almost perfect stay. Great value for money. - Gorgeous cottage in an even more gorgeous setting. Loved the fully stocked kitchen and big bathroom. Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable so we didn't have great sleeps.
• Alison (9/5): Lovely house with a big garden. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of seating in - Lovely house and gardens, near to the beach and cycle paths along the coast. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen for self catering. There were only two of us staying, but the house has three bedrooms (two of which have DBL beds). Lots of seating in the garden, plus fresh herbs and pretty lights in the evening. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Did not realise when I booked that there was no WiFi. This would be a positive for some who want an away from all stay, but would have been handy for us to check on our other travel arrangements.
• Maria (9/5): Peaceful scenery, peaceful surroundings, central to everywhere we needed to go to. - Great Location. Not far from Elephant Hill where the wedding was held. Beautiful home. Close to local shops and can hear the sea while in the garden area . It’s beautiful and peaceful. Owners we’re helpful on the day via phone. The bed and pillows are so comfy. Nothing with the property itself. Just wish we stayed longer.

Clean with interesting 'period' furnishings and use of bikes for the more energetic ! Good outdoor dining area with BBQ. Relatively good value Nothing

• Brian (4/5): Do NOT stay here unless you want to do housework while on vacation! - Big space and location No WiFi!!! The owner set all kind of rules, including having to empty out thrash, cleaning up the room, put all the linens and towels in the laundry. Basically doing all the housework!!!! Then she actually charged us two weeks before we checked in.

• Toni (8/5): Comfortable, lovely old home in a very friendly safe area close to shops abd the beach. - Great location in what can only be described as old world NZ, very friendly locals with an amazing cafe just steps away Sadly the last tenants had left the rubbish bin full of chicken scraps etc inside, this had caused a large influx of ants everywhere throughout the kitchen.
