Guest Reviews
- Michael (8/5): Very well equipped, beautiful terraced cottage - Very well equipped, great location, stylish Minor issues and bathroom pretty tight
- Lucy (6/5): - Charming cottage feel, the downstairs is particularly nice to share time in. Good location. Lovely towels and linen. Very comfy double bed. Good parking and access to Peaks. Single beds are quite flimsy and uncomfortable for adults. Garden is overgrown, scruffy and unusable. Plugs without switches feels unsafe this day and age. Pages are missing from info pack - maybe reprint and bind it together.
- Simon (7/5): Great stay, option for a later checkout would have been nice. - Lovely location. Every kitchen appliance you could want for.
Washer/dryer a bonus. Cucumber frozen to back of the fridge, mouldy spatula in the knife drawer.
As mentioned in a review on the 25th May the WiFi password page is missing from the welcome pack so had to go through the PDF.
Two lockboxes with same code and no label confusing on arrival.
- Kirstin (7/5): Good - The location was stunning and we enjoyed a run along the River Sett. Very cosy and met our needs. There was an important page missing from the Welcome pack which meant that we didn't have the WiFi password. We asked for the password and we were given the incorrect one so we had to figure it out as there was a typo.
There were also 2 lockboxes - the one closest to the door was empty, which caused some confusion as we didn't expect there to be a second one.
- David (9/5): Lovely comfortable cosy cottage. - Lovely comfortable cosy cottage. Garden the dog could run around in. Pretty seating area over the road by the stream. Kitchen well equipped including dishwasher and washing machine. The room at the top with the piano was an unexpected treat. No dedicated parking but generally enough space on the road. Very steep stairs - not a problem for us but others might need to be aware. Shower not great.
- Caroline (8/5): Cute and comfortable - hope to return soon x - Really cute, well appointed, child and animal friendly little cottage near to New Mills where we have family. We had a really lovely time and we felt at home and comfortable in this space. I think the hosts are fairly new at this so It took 24 hours to get the right WiFi code. But this was a small issue!
A little manual with the relevant information would be helpful and I would definitely return to this lovely place.
The bathroom is tiny, and the toilet is difficult for large people to use. But they have made good use of the space available and it’s very clean and tidy.
The stairs are uneven and steep and not suitable for anyone who might find that challenging but they suited us, because they were way too steep for our french bulldog!!
