Guest Reviews
- michael (8/5): Just right ! - No WiFi which was refreshing. And no tv which was also refreshing as it wasn’t about sitting indoors vegging out it was location location location getting out and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery in that part of Dorset 👌 No real mod cons just all you need for a weekend get away
- Lisa (9/5): - We have just enjoyed Easter weekend at Paradise Heights. The owner was very communicative, instructions were clear & the additional touches such as prosecco & milk were a lovely bonus. The apartment was clean, quiet, comfy, ideal for the 2 of us & our dog. We even got to use the balcony on a sunny morning. We found a parking space (pass provided) & the location is ideal, short walk into West Bay or to the Beach & coastal path. Lots of places to eat, drink & enjoy in West Bay or farther afield by car or bus. Would definitely return. Only that we couldn't stay a bit longer due to work commitments!
- marcus (10/5): great value for money - location was great close to centre and beach and was quiet
place was clean and in great location like the 70s feel but a bit of mod cons could be good like the tv please,im a bit of a tv person sorry
maybe also upgrade the sofa
- Przemyslaw (10/5): - Beautiful place. Perfect location, very close to the beach. Very good contact with the owner. We forgot our dog's toy. The owner contacted us immediately after we left the apartment and shipped it to us at his expense within a few days.
Best regards Gordon. Nothing
- Michelle (8/5): - Overall was really good in terms of location, communication, facilities, cereal, milk and prosecco was a nice touch. We stayed bank holiday August week and found we couldn't park for the first two days, managed to get a space on day 3, so didnt use car until we left on day 6 which was restrictive. We had a permit to park but there isn't an allocated space. I feel it should be clearer that parking isn't guaranteed as all other parking was paid from 8am to 6pm, and made unloading difficult with a young child. Assume isn't so much of an issue outside of main season.
- Cristina (10/5): Great location — right in the heart of West Bay! - Stylish decor, we particularly enjoyed the old school TV that works just like a modern one!
- Silke (9/5): -
- Anne (7/5): After we eventually found the accommodation we had an enjoyable time. - The location was great. There was milk and treats left at the apartment for us. There could have been much better description/information of how to get to the apartment. The accommodation was in the middle of various flats and the name of the place we were staying was not very visible. It took a local very helpful person assisting us before we found the apartment.
- Simon (9/5): A wonderful flat in a great location - Location and cleanliness It could do with a proper working TV but not a show stopper for us
- kitty (9/5): - Wonderful location. Everything we needed for our break. Balcony a treat . Amazing TV! Near all sorts of other locations too. Shop nearby & variety of pubs & restaurants available. Not used to gull noise!
- Fi (9/5): Superb -
- Aileen (8/5): Clean, comfortable stay in a great location - Great location, clean and comfortable. Nice touch to have a pint of milk and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! Moderate facilities but fine for a couple of nights
- Marion (9/5): Superb - Everything It was the perfect weekend.
- John (9/5): Superb - It was a very peaceful position although not too far from the main busy seafront. We were surprised at the size of the tv! But we coped! The blinds were a bit of a faff though.
- Paul (10/5): Excellent - It was the perfect weekend away.
The Property Owner, left many kitchen Sundries & Refreshment, snacks etc, along with Foil, Tea& Coffee.
- Davis (7/5): Good -
- Sally (10/5): Great location and lovely clean apartment with nice touches. Very good communication with host. -
- Suanne (10/5): Exceptional - Location
Bed
Everything The blinds are a bit of a pain in the bum
Didn’t distract from a lovely staycation and the welcome pack was lovely
- Carol (8/5): Very pleasant. - Great to be able to walk to the bus stop and around West Bay. Loved all the little extras (biscuits, cereal, milk, prosecco etc)! Bed was lovely and comfortable. I generally love old fashioned things, but the toaster was a bit of a nightmare and the TV was a little flaky but watchable.
- Kate (10/5): Despite it being possible the wettest July ever, we had a great time. - Great location, easy access to the seafront, the harbour, local shops, pubs and restaurants. )And of course a two minute walk to an amazingly good fish and chip shop. Nothing not to like - a hanging rack for clothes would be useful!
- Stephen (8/5): Great ! nice and relaxing stay. Very close to all amenities. - Location was great, Very close to all amenities. Stairs to and from Property.
- Liz (8/5): Enjoyable stay . The bed was so comfortable.lots of nice places to eat in west bay -
- Tracey (9/5): I would stay there again - Location and quirky feel - - - -
- Bruce (9/5): Perfection - The property is a self contained studio which is spacious clean and is two minute walk to the beach. You have everything including bedding towels and a kitchen with all you need. Excellent host and parking included. There was nothing we didn’t like
- Nick (8/5): Nice location near beaches and jusassic coast, nice fish and chips locally, and a great nearby baker - Collected the keys from nearby beach cafe (100m away). Nice location, parking rather limited but found somewhere each time we came back to the apartment. Host had left milk, wine and mini cerials for us which was a nice touch. Communication via messages very good. Comfortable if dated furnishings Met our requirements for a bed and location perectly well.
- Ian (10/5): Great little venue. - The location was ideal, straight on the beach. The facilities provided met our requirements, it was warm and cosy, the bottle of Prosecco and local ginger biscuits were a really nice touch, I would highly recommend Paradise Heights, and will be visiting again soon. Nothing.
- Anonymous (9/5): Friendly host and cosy apartment for our festive stay. - Very clean, great location, warm and cosy. Complimentary milk, fizz and chocolates were a lovely treat.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (8/5): A comfortable and cosy place to stay, well situated for the beach. - The property was clean and comfortable. We were always able to find a parking space. It is a very short walk to the beach and all of West Bay’s facilities. We had a lovely time, helped by the unexpected dry and sunny weather, when the balcony was used. Having a fan was great for the hot nights, too. The owner answered the few questions we had very promptly. We would stay again.
- Suanne (10/5): Perfect - Everything
Bed was sooo comfy!! One tiny thing, would have been nice to have new curtains to have some privacy without blinds being down, but that is only a tiny gripe.
- Helen (1/5): Bad -
- Phil (10/5): Great place - Very good quiet location yet only 20 seconds walk to sea front, one minute walk to attractions. Lovely walks from the doorstep. Apartment is basic but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a small kitchen which has everything you need including a complimentary bottle of Prosseco, biscuits and breakfast cereal! Thank you! The living area is spacious and a nice shower in the bathroom. Nice to have a balcony! And it is dog friendly and has parking! Gordon was quick to respond to any questions we had and Jenny was amazing arranging our access and parking permit around our arrival time and plans for our afternoon! Would stay again and highly recommend! There was nowhere to hang clothes.
The mattress was too soft, but that is a personal thing.
A top sheet would have been nice as it was very warm, but the quilt felt luxurious and good quality.
None of the above spoilt our stay, only minor issues.
- Jack (10/5): Lovely Holiday Home - Lovely apartment close to amenities and beach perfect little home from home... the owner Gordon was very nice and met me and my partner at the property to let us in and showed us around the apartment We booked very last minute was a gamble that paid off! Can't think of anything bad that we didn't like! Probably says it on booking but there was no WiFi (not a big issue!)
- Patricia (8/5): host very welcoming. nice to have a few essentials in the kitchen, cereal, milk etc. thanks for the wine Gordon! - comfortable bed & pillows. liked having a balcony. good location. would liked to have had top sheet.
