• Sandra (9/5): Good overnight stay - The room was very spacious with a super ensuite bathroom and very good shower. All very clean. The location setting and view was lovely. Plenty of parking space. The host was helpful and lovely, and the breakfast was delicious! The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were thicker than my preference. I like a thin pillow. On arrival I knocked on the entrance door several times and no-one showed, however the front door was unlocked so I let myself in and waited in the lounge for a few minutes for the host to appear. Not a big deal but it felt a little unusual.

• Christina (5/5): Comfortable stay, but pricing could be a tad cheaper with regard to decor etc., - The location was very scenic. The host was very welcoming. The breakfast was mediocre and at times cold and the breakfast room was very cluttered . The outside of the property needs some redecoration and repair.
• Christine (9/5): Lovely B&B near Youghal! - This lodge had a beautiful view of the water and really nice large rooms. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. We had a great full breakfast included and the host gave us some great suggestions of places to go and some background on the area while we were there. Some of the rooms are downstairs and some upstairs. You needed to have a car to get here and there was no where to walk from the B&B to get dinner, etc, but that made it very private and quiet.

• Carolin (10/5): Gemütlich und heimisch! - Das Frühstück war exzellent (es gab frisch gebackene Muffins, frischen Kaffee, Orangensaft, Eierspeisen und was das Herz noch so alles begehrt…), die Gastgeber waren sehr liebenswürdig und haben Reise-Tipps gegeben! Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hier kommt man gerne wieder hin!

• Stephanie (10/5): Comfortable, spacious, and clean stay with a fabulous breakfast - Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable, warm and spacious with a lovely view from the sea view room. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great and easy to use. The breakfast was superb as the full Irish was delicious and the staff were very kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the additional touch with the yummy homemade blueberry muffins. Nothing, we had a great stay for our short overnight visit.

The room we had was very spacious and the view from the window was so beautiful and serene, you could stay for hours just staring from the window how peaceful and calming the view is. Everything was perfectly clean and prepared with love. You could feel the care in every centimeter of the property. Breakfast was excellent - very tasty and prepared just the way you asked. And of course, the people made all the difference. We were met and welcomed by wonderful Aniko. She's such a lovely person, and genuinely caring about your comfort. Aoife, who looked after us at breakfast, made our coffee and served the food, so kind and warm. And John, who called us half an hour after we left in the morning, to tell us that we've forgotten some things. Luckily we weren't far so could turn around and pick them up. Thank you all so much!

• Linley (10/5): - Lovely welcome. I arrived later than I planned and needed dinner, just wanted something easy so was directed to the local supermarket and had lovely salads. Unfortunately I wasn’t in Youghal long enough to look around much but it seemed really lovely. Beautiful breakfast, lovely comfortable bed and such kind people. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again. All was great.

• Philip (10/5): A warm, welcoming and relaxing setting with excellent hosts! - The hosts were great. Really friendly and helpful and interesting backgrounds. The breakfast was top notch - varied, tasty and well prepared. We looked forward to it each day. The room was spacious and warm and cozy. Great bedding and a good sized bathroom ensuite. We really enjoyed returning to the property each evening after exploring the region. We highly recommend staying here! Nothing we did not like. A wonderful and relaxing stay.

• Walter (10/5): Great place for 49er fans! - Warm welcome after a day of travel leads to beautifully appointed rooms. Comfy large rooms with great view of river. Easy access to highway. Hosts made sure that we were comfortable at all times. Great breakfast. The enthusiasm for the San Francisco 49ers. ;-)
• Hans (8/5): Een prima slaapkamer en heerlijk verblijf op een prachtige plek. - Een prima locatie, hele aardige mensen. We hebben een erg ruime slaapkamer gekregen met grote badkamer inclusief bad. Het waren heerlijke bedden. Een goed verzorgd ontbijt. Het meubilair is gedateerd maar nog wel in prima staat.

• Francis (8/5): Room with a 'sea' view - Situation is beautiful, beside the River Blackwater. House is modern and rooms well sized. Husband and wife owners are charming and attentive for breakfast. Both work hard to make an enjoyable stay. Good parking by house. Nice bathroom with modern shower & double bath tub. Water was always very hot. Two small niggles, bedroom had no table or dressing table, but bedside tables are large. Second one, in bathroom no shelf for toiletries or to place sponge bag. Double bath fitted as jacuzzi, but did not function, a disappointment.

We were a family of 4 travelling with a 2 and 4 year old - our bedroom had a gigantic jacuzzi which was absolutely amazing!! The kids loved it so much and it was very relaxing for us too. Breakfast was really lovely in a beautiful setting.
