• Ben (10/5): Affordable guest house with wonderful host in thr heart of china town - The guesthouse is in the near of china town near various markets. Jake who helped run the guesthouse was super nice and kept the toilets amazingly clean throughout my stay. The room was quiet apart from people setting off fireworks for Eid but that’s not the guesthouses fault. There was one western toilet and one squat toilet. It would be good if both were western style as my knees can’t stay in a squatted position lol

I had hot water, towels, clean sheets, and a/c in the room. But the best part was the host. Jake was so welcoming and kind. He checked in to make sure my stay was going smoothly and gave me recommendations of things in the area. I would certainly stay again! I liked everything. I would recommend providing a drinking water bubbler of some sort, but otherwise everything was great!

The attention to detail was the best I’ve ever seen. From the soft coverings on the bunk latters to the fans & multiple lighting options in every bunk. Jake was the best host of all time. Even AFTER checkout when I had some issues with my phone, he was extremely helpful & attentive!

• Tiagonasc (8/5): Place was really clean and staff super cool and helpfull - The guys were super nice, so it was Julia who I didnt meet but answered my message. I got to the hostel at 5:30am and this kind buddy woke up from his sleep to open me the door with a wild welcoming smile. I left my luggage and even cold have a warm shower after a night trip. And go for a stoll before my check in. The place could have some table in the common area, but as I undertood they are providing it.

Location is great, so many food options. Easy walk to public transit. 20 minutes walk gets you to the museum district. I would definitely stay here again One of the best deals in the city. Also the hot shower was wonderful. The mattress was worn out and lopsided. It felt like you were going to slide out of the bed.

• Chia (10/5): The location is very near to Petaling Street, convenient as the 24-hour mart is just downstairs. Walking distance to the - clean with full amenities. Host is super helpful and friendly. The bed is a bit thin for my liking, but it is good enough for a short stay. It is located on the upper floor, which requires carrying bags up the staircase. Suitable for light backpack travellers. However, the host offer to help me carry down my bag which is a bonus point!
• Ines (10/5): I would stay there again - I am so glad that i booked this hostel. Even though it’s still a work in progress, the basics are met and with such care and attention to detail. You get a towel, a bottle of water, mini soap, toothbrush and toothpaste when you check in which is a really nice touch. The location is great and close to everything. Jake is reaally nice and informative, don’t hesitate to talk to him if you have a problem with anything or even just to chat.
• Kingston (9/5): Superb - The rooms and bed were clean, bathroom always kept clean. the beds were comfortable. the location was just beside china town, not the nice part of Kuala Lumper but a good location because close to all the nice parts. the service and communication by the owner were exceptional. and for me this is priority. the owner there went over and beyond. told me where to visit, gave me a plan, directed me and told me where I can do laundry and helped me. really nice and friendly. towel, soap, toothbrush provided. no hot water but I didn't mind was hard to find. .maybe if there was a bigger sign on the street, it would be helpful.

• Dimitris (10/5): The very definition of "home away from home" - I wish I could clone Jake (the guy who runs this guesthouse), create… a hundred “copies” of him, and spread them around hostels in SE Asia and beyond. He and his “sister” make the place feel like home. Could the facilities be better? Yes, and Jake is the first to acknowledge it. Did it make any significant difference to me personally? No, because what I value the most wherever I stay, is the feeling I’m left with during the first few hours. This place felt like home, which at the stage of life I’ve reached, I appreciate more than a… rooftop pool (not that there is anything wrong with rooftop pools, obviously :-)). I admit I’m biased, I liked this place so much, that I was more than willing to overlook any imperfections.

• Ahmad (9/5): Guest House with Good location and Clean Room - The location is very easy to reach, only 5 minutes walk from the central pudu raya central bus station, located on the 2nd floor of a building on the main road, 3 minutes walk to china town. The location is also adjacent to restaurants and mini markets. Unexpectedly, they provide towels, and toiletries and a bottle of mineral water. The room is quite large, so that the 5 bunk beds have a fairly spacious distance No less interesting, the guest house room is always cleaned and given air freshener. Hafidz, the staff is very friendly and polite. Because it has just opened, some facilities are not yet available such as hot water and seating areas.

• B. (10/5): Perfect - 30 MYR for a night right in downtown in between Chinatown and Indiatown, nothing can beat that, especially for such clean, calm and comfy place. Beds with curtains, well appointed electric plugs, good internet connection, working air conditioned and provided towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and water bottle. • Duniya_dekho (9/5): Home sweet home ! - True malaysian hospitality at display by jake and julia. It is a small place but I felt at home. Free towel, comfortable beds, linen, and blanket. Good wifi. Central location from where you can walk to almost all attractions of KL. A ton of eateries right outside the hostel. Metro and airport bus stop within 5 to 10 minutes of walking distance. There is always scope for improvement. The common area could be better furnished. It is understandable as it is a new hostel and they are still furnishing it.
• El (8/5): Very good - The room is spacious and there is privacy with the curtains. The owner is super friendly and I assume the hostel is quite new. It is more like a homestay so don't expect a lot of facilities, 10 beds, 2 small bathrooms. He is working or upgrading his home so there will be more facilities in the future. The beds are not very comfortable so a thicker mattress would be great.

• Ema (10/5): Oh my God!! - I was greet by Jake and he was super nice.Ok let me tell a little bit start with : Location : Super good!!5minutes walk to the Airport Bus Station (PUDU SENTRAL).5-7minutes walk to the train station that connected to all the places i wanted to visit.Batu Caves,Twin towers,KL sentral,even train to North Island Penang.And also train to TBS the main bus station that connected to all destinations in Malaysia,Malacca,Penang,Ipoh,Cameron Highland and many more.This hostel is in super excellent location.Plenty of sightseeing around,temple,chinatown market,old historical beautiful building,botanical garden park all is nearby.15 minutes walk only to the famous night street foods market Jalan Alor.And plenty more. Cleanliness: For me this is the strongest point of this hostel.For me this one is the most cleanest hostel i have ever been!!!For some people i don't know,but been to more than hundred hostel,i proudly say Noneeguesthouse is by far the most cleanest one i ever stayed. Staff : I read about Jake in the past reviews,no doubt he's the best and the most nicest person i have ever met in the hostel.Even in the world.It's an honor to meet him.Asked him many questions and he just went above and looks like he's been in this industry for a very long time. It's going to be very long writing so i just stop here and hoping all other travellers will appreciated this small and lovely dream hostel.Home sweet home.Thank you.
• Guillaume (7/5): Good - Easy to find , good location Nice staff Very clean hostel No common area (sign saying that tables will be coming soon ) Shower is over the shower, not a problem for the eaten style one but for the Asian style one, not the best design.
• Nasyitah (10/5): Definitely coming back again. - Nonee and Hafiz makes me feel very much welcomed the moment I stepped in. The hostel is clean, tidy, and spacious. The bed itself has a mini fan, mini lamp, USB ports and privacy curtain. The location is nearby Chinatown, lots of food and cafe option around. KK Mart is just downstairs. Public transport: LRT Hang Tuah, MRT Merdeka, MRT/LRT Pasar Seni with a bus hub. I would preferred a liquid soap in the shower rather than a sabun buku but it really wasn't a big issue. The hostel is right next to a busy road so it will get noisy with the traffic sound. Do bring an earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
