Great location for visiting Nanaimo, Gabriola Island (via ferry) and other areas on this part of the Island. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Laundry facilities were much appreciated, especially the drying rack. We would like to stay again next time we visit the area. The apartment was excellent- the only comment is that would be nice to get the access code a couple of days before arrival rather than only the day of arrival. Sometimes internet access/cellphone data access can be difficult for those coming from overseas to be able to receive the code.

• Janice (10/5): Great location with a fabulous property! - Great spot- right by Nanaimo but rural. Westwood lake is a few minutes drive and is beautiful to walk around. The property is very well appointed and comfortable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return here!

The place was spacious and very well appointed with a great deal of thought and care going into the equipment & products supplied. • Alexia (9/5): An amazing stay! Cant wait to return back! - Such a wonderful place to stay! You are close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood. You have goats next door that are friendly and chickens across the street! They have everything ready for you at arrival, the space was very clean and they provide you with everything but a blender for in the kitchen! You are in a suit that is attached of the main house but private and only access from a separate entrance. I would definitely recommend and be happy to return back! I only have 1 real dislike which is the shower. The water never got hot enough and it’s a light sprinkle. Additionally the water head falls straight down and leaves part of your body uncovered. However for a fast shower it’s all you need. They do provide some small travel sized products for you as well! They have a parking space specific for guests and be cautious because right behind it is a small ditch, that my boyfriend accidentally revered into (his defence I was talking too him) but the wonderful neighbours came out to help us! Lastly the pillows aren’t the most comfortable and if you have any pains I’d suggest packing your own. Those are tiny imperfections that just goes to show how amazing this property really is!

• Hugh (9/5): Excellent roomy new apartment - We arrived 15 minutes early and the owner opened the appt early for us. The apt is only a few months old and very well designed for renting. There is a full washer and dryer Very little. The apt is on a rural street but is only 5 minutes drive from a shopping mall and we had the best fish and chips ever at The Cod Squad close to the Mall. For older renters such as us, a grab bar in the shower/ bath would be helpful. The apartment is all on one level but is accessed by an internal stair with approximately a dozen steps. This was not a problem for us

• Beth (10/5): We loved our time in the suite. It is in a rural area so nice and quiet but 10 minutes to everything - We got the door lock code the day of arrival. The lock itself was lovely to use as it actually told me when the door was locked and unlocked so I didn't have to worry that I hadn't done it right. The hosts were responsive to questions but didn't intrude so we had our privacy. The suite is nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bath towels and bedding were divine. We'd happily stay again and would absolutely stay for an extended period of time. Nothing, it met our needs perfectly.

• Linda (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was amazing. Spacious, clean, cleverly put together everything you could want to use was there. Mom and I both immediately said to each other "omg, I love the kitchen sink". For those looking to relax in the living room, the TV is gigantic, with another large TV in the bedroom. The bed is very tall, but there is a stool for us shorter people. Being that my mother and I were mobility limited, the stairs were a challenge. We were forewarned of them by the property but decided to stay anyway. The outside stairway was our biggest challenge but when we discussed it with the owner she gratefully took our critique and said they would work on the safety aspects of those with mobility issues, even though most guests won't be in our position.
