• Catherine (10/5): Very Lovely Mudeford Beach Hut style - Fabulous Location for Avon Beach and the Noisy Lobster, very easy walk back after a day in the sand and sun! Perfect position for a quick drive into Christchurch. Loved the full size fridge to keep our beach supplies cool on our arrival Friday night! We liked everything!!
• Janice (10/5): So convenient for Mudeford Quay and beaches 🏖️ - Perfect little apartment for our overnight getaway to the beach. Definitely hope to stay again. Short walk to the harbour and beach. All great . If we had had time we would have had a breakfast on the little private courtyard.

Bed was small but comfy. Good AC machine in room. Easy to get keys and access even when owners were not on the property. • Julie (10/5): Lovely little spot in Mudeford - Comfortable room on private property with parking. Extremely clean, with good facilities. Very quiet spot, a short walk from Mudeford Quay. We brought breakfast with us (porridge made in microwave). The owner kindly left fresh milk in the fridge and there was a selection of tea and coffee. Nothing not to like! The description said the room jad a double bed, but it would have been nice to have a larger bed, as the room was spacious enough, but this isn't a complaint!

• Salina (10/5): A great little find in a beautiful and peaceful spot within easy reach of Mudeford! Would highly recommend! - Beautifully furnished, clean and so comfortable in a fantastic and peaceful location!
• Mark (10/5): A last minute overnight stay which was extremely easy to book and had everything that was needed. - I missed the welcome email with full instructions on how to access the property but was given a wonderful introduction by the host. Very well equipped with high quality fittings. The welcome pack of tea’s, coffees, jams and milk was very welcome. Although it was slightly off the main routes, there was nothing I would criticise about this accomodation.

• Tom (9/5): Superb - Great location, hosts and excellent design. A very modern and comfortable apartment. It was nice a close to the beach, places to eat out and supermarkets. The only cooking facilities were a microwave, toaster and a kettle. I would have liked a hob or an oven to cook a more substantial meal.

It’s location was perfect for visiting the many beaches by car or on foot. It was clean and comfortable and cosy. Retreat was the perfect name- we felt so relaxed with everything we needed. The host was welcoming, friendly and on hand if needed.

Parking was easy as well and 5 to 10 mins walk from beach and harbour which is great Nothing to be honest, delivered what it said.

Q large spider in shower. Only a spindly one so not too bad! Nearly got locked in as outer folding door a bit tricky.
• Debbie (9/5): Small couple break. - We booked Mudeford retreat for the location as we had friends getting married in Sopley Mill and it was more competitively priced than a hotel for 3 nights. And only a short walk to the beach, we had a lovely visit and enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again and highly recommend. Great use of space, very comfortable and clean and near to our friends who all live down that way as we live in London.

• Peter (10/5): Retreat was right up our street - We have been coming up to this area for some years to visit my youngest son ,and over the past few years ,we have 'experienced' a wide variety of accommodation for our usual 2 or 3 night stays . This was easily one of the best ! Access to The Retreat was gained by a side gate , and upon entry ,we were impressed with the quality of fixtures and fittings, including the very comfortable bed. Mentioned on leaving to the genial host ,the lack of a washing up brush and /or pad. Otherwise perfect !

Appreciated off street parking, and provision of milk, tea, coffee and sugar after a long journey. Instant hot water, hair drier and a private outside area to sit in were very pleasant extras. Excellent value and good to receive helpful information from the owner. Thank you! Extra pillows would be great to have.
