- daniela (10/5): Soggiorno super rilassante, vista mozzafiato e tramonto indeminticabile.

- Celentano (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (9/5): Great experience, loved the location and the view. To see and hear the ocean from the bed was very soothing. - Sea view, location, bath in the room, breakfast vouchers for solid Italian breakfast in local caffè We’d prefer towels of higher quality, also could hear the tv from the next room.
- Ron (10/5): Do not be fooled by the entrance and facade, inside the FronteMare suites they are stunning and exceptionally clean. All - Gaetano was absolutely brilliant nothing too much trouble
Very clean, on the beach everything the booking described Nothing
- Georgeanth (10/5): Exceptional - Gaetano was very helpful! He was a massive help to us when travelling from Naples airport to FronteMare which we hugely appreciated given there were issues with the trains that day.
The location is perfect, lovely sea view and all very clean. Thank you Gaetano and everyone else for a lovely stay and for the chocolate bunny!
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celentano (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Got there on sunset which more than helped us relax and enjoy the evening - The internal refit of the building more than removed any initial concerns when we pulled up to the building!
Great value and a nice location as we made our way back to Naples. Parking is an issue, and should be highlighted with clear directions to options available as many streets are oneway and once missed the circuit to return is somewhat cumbersome with weekend trsffic.
- Craig (8/5): Great place but a bit to perfumed for me. - Great apartment and perfect for what I needed. Fabulous sea views. Awful scented infusion that kept me awake it was so bad. Put it on the balcony for the night!
- Jenny (8/5): Lovely accommodation, great location as a base to drive to Sorrento and around Amalfi Coast - The rooms are lovely, sea facing and plenty of room. Don’t be put off by the outside as you approach it - the interior is exactly as the photos show! We had complementary drinks provided in the mini bar and a cleaner comes every day! Great for watching sunsets from your room. If you are looking for beaches this is not the place to stay, whilst it is on the sea front the beach here is very dirty/rubbish everywhere. Breakfast is provided by tokens for a place the other end of the promenade (we just went to other little bakery places much closer and used by the locals). If you are driving just be aware that the road gets very busy so can take a while to get to the parking garage round the corner.
- Janka (6/5): Not prepared for non-Italian tourists. Nice room, but the environment is not recommended. - The room was clean, the sea was very close. Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Vesuvius close for a one-day trip. The house is outside of the centrum, this was visible on the poor environment. The food stores in the street are below expectation. Before the house, there is a small grass area where guys stopped for peeing every day and we could see it from the balcony. The cleaning lady didn’t speak English at all. The staff at the breakfast place messed up out order 3 out of 5 times because of the same issue. The room was not equiped to make some bites for the day - we had to buy plastic cutlery and plates. The glass of the shower was squeeking when there was wind outside and we couldn’t sleep because of that. To park the car, we were sent to a garage where the guy wanted to take our carkeys without any signed paper/registration/ID - it felt very shady and unsafe.
- Maier (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valeria (10/5): Exceptional - The room was spacious, clean and freshly renovated. The view was right on to the sea with no obstructions.
The location is quite central and only 15 minute walk from the train station.
The cleaner came every day and they even had a mini fridge with complimentary drinks in it including small prosecco.
This was a comfortable stay for 3 friends. And our host was friendly and helpful.
- Francesco (8/5): Nice town, restaurants… filthy beach, unacceptable water quality - Location , view, close to train station Municipal sewage discharges into the sea right under your nose… and it smells!
- Marieta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gkampouza (10/5): Exceptional - Room was nice but staff where very helpful too The outside of the building looks a bit old but rather than that nothing all the rest looks great
- Beverly (10/5): FronteMare Suites in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy is a GREAT get-a-way !!! We highly recommend it - Our room was lovely (newly renovated very modern) with a great balcony and BEAUTIFUL VIEW of the Gulf of Naples and the Mediterranean Sea. It was breath taking !! The manger and staff were very helpful and communicated with us often when we had a question. We inquired about getting a taxi to the ancient ruins of Pompeii (only 15 minutes from the hotel) and the manager so graciously offered to have one of his staff members, Luca, pick us up and drive us there and also picked us up after our tour. There are lots of restaurants, cafe's and coffee shops just a few steps away. We were happy to find several fresh fruit markets and many clothing boutiques close by. We enjoyed evening walks on the boardwalk next to the beach. Make sure you take the Cable Car (gondola) up the mountain for fabulous views of Castellammare di Stabia. We had a difficult time finding the hotel. Siri and Google maps do not have the correct location. The entrance to the hotel does not have a sign. We asked directions from several people. Very few in the area speak or understand english. The manager was most helpful and able to speak english and understand us.
- Davide (10/5): Exceptional -
- Violeta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zou (3/5): Not worth of money, there’s a 4 star hotel just on the beach, same rate but much much better. - Best location, good view right on the beach Because it’s a personal owned room, you should contact them at least 1 hour in advance, the staff need 1 hour on the road.
Parking is not free.
Breakfast is only one bread and one coffee, and need to walk 5-10 mins outside the building to another place.
Very hard to find the window cover. One bathroom is totally transparent with no cover.
The bed is not completely made, we need to do by ourselves, this never happened before.
- Suanzes (9/5): Superb -
- Elena (8/5): Expensive but good. Water views are nice but beach is not - Comfy bed, bath was good, shower was good, air con was good. Water views is nice. Central location. The beach is not nice. Dirty, and not really a beach. Room smelt too strong of perfume from a defuser, but I just took it outside. It was really expensive.
- Alex (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed. Had a mini fridge and coffee. Never saw the staff or people who run the place. It did not seem like we were in the right place. Far from everything. The view was decent except for the trash and smell the odd time. There is no parking so you need to go to a parking garage. The upstairs tenants were noisy and you could hear stuff throughout the building. This is not a HOTEL.
- Rebecca (9/5): Lovely Italian apartment stay - The room itself was lovely and modern (recently renovated a year or so ago). Everything was super clean in the room as well as the reception area. Everything really well presented.
We also encountered one of the best sunsets we’ve seen, in this room. The balcony is in the perfect spot overlooking the sea.
We appreciated the drinks and nibbles left in the fridge that we were able to have - if they are replaced - they are then chargeable after the first time.
We weren’t familiar with the area and wanted to stick to a budget while we were away so purposely stayed a little further out from Sorrento, at first we didn’t realise how far, but we were delighted with our choice in the end. It was only about 20 mins on the train to Sorrento and found were very one of very few tourists in the area. We had some lovely dinners in the area and were frequently told by restaurant staff that we were a rarity as not many tourists stopped in the area. Even having what felt like our own private beach! Which going to Sorrento you won’t find. We struggled to even find a sunset that matched the one at our balcony!
The staff at the cafe where breakfast is, were all lovely too. I also saw other reviews about not letting the outside of building discourage you, this is true, it did put the fear into us on approaching the property as it is probably typical of the area - an old apartment building with very worn fixtures and fittings. The lock to the front door needed a little wiggle to get in, but wasn’t too much trouble.
We weren’t aware that breakfast would be what is was. Unless we’d missed something, but we couldn’t see it stated on the details that there aren’t breakfast facilities on the property. You received tokens for each night you’re staying to redeem at a cafe just down the road from the apartment. At first this was a little disappointing as we found a pastry and a coffee, got a little repetitive every day. As this was all the token would allow for. And are typically used to a continental breakfast. Despite this, it was enjoyable, but may have changed our choice of property for more of a hotel set up to receive a proper breakfast, had we have known before.
- Arnold (9/5): New Unit; Good value for Money - Location and view; unit was very modern; great wifi. Rep from unit showed up late and didn't respond timely to questions. As an example there were some water bottles in the frig and we asked when we arrived about them and only got an answer hours after we checked out.
- Xenia (10/5): Exceptional - Poor Wi-Fi connection
- Lauren (8/5): Beautiful apartments, just subpar location - Building the apartment in was very run down, the lift to get up to where the apartments are was just scary! But the actual apartments were stunning very modern, clean and the bed was very comfy. Location, there wasnt alot to do in castellammare di stabia in general, which we didnt realise before we stayed, but we only stayed two nights as a stop off from amalfi before naples, so was nice to be in a modern apartment where we could just chill out go on a few walks and the balcony got the most amazing sunset where we could eat take away pizza on from a local pizza shop!
- Lesha (10/5): Ocean view amazing! - The room was perfect with an amazing tub! I will absolutely return. :) Everything was wonderful!
- Eiswman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sasha (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was AMAZING.. the room is even better than the pictures The building was very dilapidated, and the key to the front door wasn't working properly.
- Maximilian (10/5): Amazing - The Suite was absolutely lovely, we had an amazing stay. The view is just stunning! I whish we could have stayed longer.
- Cristi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abigail (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (7/5): Not really worth the asking price - Room looks like in the picture Check-in process needs improvement, had to call and then wait 30 min, although they seem to have a reception.
They basically have some rooms in an old and in need of improvement apartment building.
The seaside view was a disappointment, it's only a dirty and full o trash part of the beach.
- Jesmond (10/5): Super - Amazing apartment with sea view
Fronte mare restarant was awsome good food
And service
- Marion (7/5): Good - The room is very clean and of good quality and the view from the balcony on the sea is very nice. The communication : we weren’t told that this was not managed as a hotel but as a airbnb, so we had to wait and call them a few times before getting someone to come and open for us.
- Mayina (8/5): Very good - The view from the rooms is amazing (just like in the pictures) and the rooms are cosy and very clean. Also, the location is max 30km away from all the sightseeing spots (Amalfi, Positano, Pompeji, Napoli, ferrys to Capri, etc.). The café for breakfast ("In Café") has a beautiful view, and the staff is great The parking situation is OK, there's a free parking area in a distance of 1-1,5km. The B&B is not easy to find as it is located in a regular residents house, so just check on the street number. Finally, the breakfast place is an external café nearby (around 5 mins away from the building) and includes 1 croissant, 1 coffee, and 1 orange juice (allowance of 6€ max). Everything else must be paid extra.
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Nata0111 (4/5): Horrible welcome and noice - The view from the balcony First no one answered our phone calls when we were at the door on a Sunday afternoon. The isolation of the room was really bad. We could hear everything from next door and we had to wake up at 7am because of the noise of someone vacuuming, moving furniture on top of our head… the same keep on going at night. This is a room in very old building where other people live and there is nothing to do with: « suite ».
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lewis (9/5): would stay here again, but definitely would reconsider having a car with me because that was hassle. - although the building it is in is a little worn, the room is incredible. great view, comfy bed, good lighting & staff were very friendly and helpful. no parking at the property & the building it’s in is in a bad state. you can’t tell from inside the apartment because once you’re in it’s great, but first impression wasn’t amazing.
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Gerard (8/5): Very good - Don't be put off by the outside of the building or the busy street. Inside the room is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The best thing of all is that all the rooms have balconies with magnificent sea views from which you can watch the sun setting over the Bay of Naples and Ischia. Stunning! The FronteMare rooms are in a large, converted apartment on the second floor of an old apartment block. The other apartments are still occupied by normal residents. There are no FronteMare staff onsite - a cleaner visits once a day and the main host meets you on arrival and is contactable by WhatsApp. The outside of the building is a bit of a mess and the street is busy - but there's little that FronteMare can do about that. The breakfast restaurant is a short walk away which is ok in good weather, not so good if it's raining!
- Raimonda (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect new apartment, very comfortable :) big room, nice balcony.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely room but didn't live up to my 'quiet' request - Breakfast was lovely. Caring friendly staff and local vibe. The beach was full of rubbish and hotel right next to waste outlet.
On the first night there was a loud party at the nearby hotel and on the second people arrived into the neighbouring room after midnight and made a noise all night. (So sound-proofing was poor)
- Krisztiàn (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! The room is beautiful, just like in the photos. The sea view is breathtaking. The location of the apartment is excellent, close to coastal restaurants, bars and cafes. The Circumvesuviana station is a 10-minute walk away, and easy to access.
- Gabrielė (8/5): The suite was better than expected, but the view was not aa good as in the pictures, because the beach was full of trasa - The location and the interior of the room Lack of essentials, such as glasses, dishes, wine opener.
- Grace (10/5): Hidden gem in a beautiful little town! - The staff were so friendly and excited for us to stay there! It was a beautiful room that overlooked the ocean. The main square was very close but the room was still very quiet. It is a hidden gem! The number 1 is only a 15 minute walk for day trips to Amalfi, Pompeii and positano. I do suggest taking the ferry to Amalfi to see the coast on your way. Also the cafe in for the free breakfast was very authentic and excited for us to be there from the new local hotel! Super cozy hotel and fun town! Everything was great, we don’t have a simple complaint!
- Simon (10/5): could not recommend more. fantastic location amazing views and a gorgeous room - great location, amazing views and lovely rooms
