• Wagner (8/5): - O atendimento é um diferencial. O café da manhã é simples, mas bom. E a disposição das camas no quarto coletivo, espaço amplo. Falta de água é um grave problema. Pois é básico ter água.

Exceptional WiFi for an Amazon region- I was able to take back to back zoom calls. Rooms are very big. Breakfast very good- eggs, croissants, yoghurt, fruit , cereal and coffee/ tea. Close to plaza and port. No air con only fans- it gets very very humid. No electricity sockets next to the beds. It appears they’ve removed them. Everyone had to charge their devices in the lobby.

• Lydia (8/5): Wunderschönes Hostel mit tollem Pool und schönen Zimmern, leider ist die Umgebung laut - Es ist ein echt schönes Hostel. Wir waren im 3. OG in einem DZ mit AC. Es war sehr geräumig und hell. Das Bett ist sehr groß mit guter Matratze. Der Pool ist schön und sauber. Die Lage ist gut. Leider war die Umgebung sehr laut, viel laute Musik, rund um die Uhr. Es kann sein, dass das nur am Wochenende so ist, und das ist nicht die Schuld vom Hostel. Das Frühstück ist sehr mäßig. Es gibt kei warmes Wasser in der Dusche.

• Erin (3/5): Not a good sleep, very noisy - Location is great. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Beds were well spaced out with plenty of room, there were mosquito nets and everything seemed clean as expected. Very noisy. There was a community event so not sure how often it is this noisy. Mesh windows so sound travels well. If anyone is in the pool outside of the rooms, it’s very loud. Wish the pool closed at 9pm, people were out there past 10-11pm. There was music playing at a neighboring location very loudly and lively until 2:45am. Not sure how often that happens, but it meant I didn’t sleep at all until it ended. Ideally, I would have been asleep by 9pm. There were no lockers or way to secure bags within the room - it felt like if someone was motivated, petty theft would be easy unfortunately. It didn’t feel secure in general, and they need to update their filing system for check in because paperwork was left on the counter and in easy view.

• Roberto Anibal (5/5): Bonito cuarto pero no dejaban dormir los borrachos y los gritos de los niños muy de mañana - La ubicación buena y cuarto fresco Los borrachos que hacían bulla en la piscina (me aloje en un cuarto al frente) y que los niños se bañaran desde las 6 am, a esa hora todavía se esta durmiendo, hacen bulla por sus gritos.
• Athena (9/5): Great staff. Great location. Has a really cool pool area to swim or chill at. - The pool and the location was great. They gave out towels at the pool which was very convenient for us! We had a great view of the river. The staff was also amazing in helping us find the best food and they were so friendly. The shower didn’t have a door and there was no bath mat so water got everywhere in the bathroom. Also it did get noisy at night so earplugs are highly recommended.

• BARIL (6/5): 2 nuits en famille - L'hôtel est proche de la place central à pieds et surtout du restaurant Fuego bar, excellent. La piscine centrale est très sympa. Le personnel est très sympathique: souriant, a appelé le taxi , le touk-touk. Nous étions dans la chambre triple où il n'y avait pas de moustiquaire, le premier matin, nous n'avons pas eu de petit déjeuner car pas de quantité suffisante.

• Simon (6/5): Niet top - Het zwembad was fijn, maar ze waren aan het verbouwen, dus die ging pas laat open. De hangmatten waren ook top en het ontbijt is prima. De kamer stonk. De bedden waren hard en geen muggennet. Water deed het niet, dus geen douche op de kamer.

Also because of it they constantly walked with much loads of dirt next to the pool which made its surroundings very dirty. I feel like if you do this kind if construction work -constant and loud- you should not rent out the space during this time or warn ahead and give big discounts.

• Anne (7/5): Faltou honestidade e cresceram o olho em turistas - Quarto limpo e espaçoso Funcionário disse que não tinha 2 quartos disponíveis no booking, vendeu 2 quartos separados por um preço alto (toda hora mudava o preço, pois segundo ele os quartos disponíveis para alugar no booking não estavam disponíveis), conseguimos reservar apenas um quarto no booking e o outro pagamos lá na hora e quando a pessoa que reservou o quarto no dia abriu a porta do outro quarto viu que era o mesmo do booking, ou seja, o funcionários nos enganou e ainda pagamos a mais.

• Lino (8/5): - Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage und von der Dachterrasse kann man super über die anderen Häuser in den Regenwald schauen. Es gibt leider kaum bis keine Ablageflächen in den Duschen und Zimmer, sowie gab es in meinem Hostelzimmer keinen Locker wo ich meine Sachen hätte einschließen können.

• Justine (10/5): - Très bons équipements de l'auberge : piscine, hamac, babyfoot... La chambre était spacieuse et le lit confortable. La moustiquaire remplace les vitres de la chambre : c'est problématique si l'on cherche à se reposer (bruit).
• Dana (7/5): Bien mais bruyant - La piscine est un plus. Le dortoir était spacieux. Le personnel est attentif à chacune des demandes faites. Petit déjeuner correct. L'eau de la douche est froide. Aussi, le dortoir n'a pas de fenêtre mais bien des moustiquaires. Ainsi, dès qu'il y a du bruit dehors, on entend tout. Ce n'est clairement pas le logement le moins bruyant que j'ai connu.

• Eva (6/5): - Decent hostel for a night or two, close to the ferry dock for Tambopata tours and within walking distance of restaurants in Puerto Maldonado. Free breakfast is very basic. They did arrange a taxi to and from the airport for us which was nice. Staff were friendly. The rooms had mosquito nets instead of windows/wall facing into the pool area making it loud at night, particularly as they allowed people to use the pool, and sit at the pool playing loud music until after 11pm even though they state that the pool closes at 10pm. They also ignored my messages in regards to this.

• Carmen (4/5): Pool nicht empfehlenswert, ich hatte danach einen Ausschlag - el espacio y la cocina están bien, también el desayuno Das gebuchte Zimmer war für den Preis viel zu einfach und heiß und leider hatte ich, nachdem ich im Pool geschwommen bin, einen Ausschlag am ganzen Körper. Ich fragte den jungen Angestellten an der Rezeption, ob gerade gechlort wurde, aber er hatte keine Ahnung. Deshalb die Bewertung.

• Aurin (10/5): Loved it! - The property is centrally located. Near the town square and many places to eat. The property itself is really nice. The staff were extremely helpful and very nice. Having access to a kitchen is a plus and all it’s amenities.
• Ana Gabriela (7/5): It offers a clean affordable place to stay. Do not to expect to make many friends there - It is a simple hostel that is clean and affordable. The breakfast was simple. It is not located in the city center but a short walk. No lockers to keep your staff. There was no community building or any hostel vibe activities while I was there. As others mentioned in their reviews, there is some noise on Saturday mornings and during the weekends.
