• Antony (9/5): Excellent for a short stay - Compact apartment in a quiet area. Clean, tidy, well equipped kitchenette. Underground parking. Nearby facilities. 30 min walk into the city centre. Although we didn't meet the host communication was excellent.

• Jagoda (10/5): The best place to stay in Tirana! - The apartament was spacious and had everything we need - well equipped kitchen with cute plates and cups, bathroom with washing machine, big comfortable bed, excellent wi-fi! The location was also great - it had a market in the same building and couple of supermarkets in the neighbourhood, well comunicated with city centre - many buses and a bus station 3 mins from apartament. The host was really nice and helped us with everything. I definitely recommend! The walls are very thin and we could hear all the noises from the neighbours, than was very unpleasant.

The building is new and the apartment has high ceiling allowing large volume of air. We felt like home, with all the utilities (including air conditioning and washing machine) and fully supplied. We'll certainly return to the continuously innovative Tirana and this apartment will be our first choice.

• Paul (5/5): Comfortable/small a long way from popular areas - Rev The host is very nice, the apartment is clean, well presented, modern feel, equipped ok but very small compared to all others I have stayed in, I noted in other reviews missing toilet paper… I had the same issue… but I had an ok stay The location is a long way from the centre in the wrong direction (meaning it’s past the centre and further away from the airport, away from decent shops/bars, although a few, there’s less choice). I found the arrival journey very hard work with cases on a very overcrowded bus and not a great long road to the apartment, although the apartment is ok.. for me (being in Albania over a month) I like less hassle, walking easily to the centre with better choices. It’s a holiday not a hike (yes there’s busses but they are hot/busy and it gets tedious eating time out of your day… each day (its to far to walk, so a bus each day is a must no matter what you do)

• Abuladas (10/5): Awesome value, obvious choice if you're in Tirana - Fully equipped with everything you need The toilet paper was missing but it was ok as it was probably an overlook as even washing detergent was available. The flat is a bit far than city center (30 min walk) but next to a bus station and you can take any bus from there to city center for 0.4 euros

• William (8/5): Great value - Finally a coffee machine! (First one in the Balkans.) And the owner even provided a small bag of good coffee. Fantastic A/C. Good TV (HDR). Comfortable bed. All you need in the kitchenette. Cabinet as well as a wardrobe for your clothes. Nice natural light comes in from the back garden area. Good bathroom/shower. The washing machine also has several dryer options. There's also a drying rack. Small table with chairs. Totally unexpected, the studio has a raised ceiling with an additional high window. (It could be made into a loft.) So visually pretty cool. The owner is very helpful, eager to please and nice. Location: while not really within walking distance from the city center (you can take the public bus - real cheap - or a taxi - expensive!), I did like the neighborhood. Good selection of small shops and restaurants. I especially liked "Taste of Tirana" which offers homestyle meals at a great price. Unfortunately, during my 3 week stay, I had some bad luck with the neighbors being a bit loud. Also kids play in both the front and back areas. And the doors and locks are pretty loud. Otherwise I would have stayed there for the entire three months. Please notice that no one else has mentioned this in their (favorable) reviews, so I suspect it's due to my being around for a longer stay as well as staying in more often than most tourists do.
