- Melissa (8/5): - Peter was a great host who greeted us upon our arrival and personally took us up to the cabin. He stayed a bit to give us some helpful information, and we really enjoyed chatting with him! The cabin is small and cozy. Our family of 5 was comfortable during our stay. We loved playing with Patch as well.

- Megan (10/5): -
- Siobhan (9/5): - I would have loved if there was a little Carton of milk in the fridge so I could have had a cup of tea in the morning before we left. But otherwise everything was beautiful

- Murphy (10/5): Recommend you find this country haven. - A lovely location in a cosy retreat in the heart of the countryside.
- E Kennedy (10/5): Cosy Cabin stay - Easy to find, so welcomed by Peter and Patch. Situated in the countryside, peaceful and yet close enough to facilities. Everything you would need and more. Homely and comfortable. Nothing all perfect.
- Terence (10/5): A gorgeous place to stay in a lovely part of Ireland - We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite.
Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time.
And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home.
We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time. Nothing at all. Everything was just right for us.

Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das nächste Mal bleiben wir gerne länger.

- Andrew (8/5): Would recommend, beautiful. - Lovely location, the host was fantastic and the cabin was great. It’s a little out of the way, so id advise to drive or rent a car if you’re staying here. Nothing but good things to say about the place. The hosts dog is also a lovely little chap.
- Quinn (10/5): Exceptional - The cabin was so cosy and comfortable. Everything you need is there . It's a great place to go and switch off from the world for a bit . Only stayed one night but would definitely go back . It's lovely been surrounded by fields and animals.

- Izzy (10/5): Exceptional - My family and I stayed here while we were attending a wedding. This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The cabin is so cozy and has a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. My daughter loved watching the wild bunnies playing in the field. There was a lovely border collie who came for cuddles and to chill out under the deck of the cabin. The owner, Peter is such an amazing person. He came up to the cabin in the middle of the night when my parents accidentally blew a fuse in the cabin due to the kettle. He refused to leave us without electricity or a working kettle in case my daughter needed hot water for her bottles. So not only did he fix the fuse he also arrived on with a new kettle for us. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay or owner. Highly recommend especially if attending events near kingscourt or cabra castle.

- Nabil (8/5): Lovely quiet spot in the country surrounded by nature and lovely local sights and towns. - It was clean and cosy and the host was an absolute gentleman, wishing Peter the best. A little bit far out from the closets towns or the castle if you don’t drive so it can be trickier to get to but we were fine as we had a car.

- Ciara (10/5): Would stay again just for the comfortable beds and dog - Beds were extremely comfortable, very quiet. Nice area and lovely hosts. Hosts were very accommodating as I requested late check-in. Waking up and being greeted by one of the friendliest dogs who loves belly rubs. Cannot say a bad thing about the place it was great value for money and location was perfect for the activities planned.
- Jane (10/5): Cosy, warm, inviting, comfortable and will be back. Thank you Peter - Quiet, warm and homely I couldn’t fault the property, maybe get the correct wood knot covering paint for the ceiling to cover the wood knot marks coming through the paint. To people that wouldn’t know what they were, they may think it was mould and give this property a negative rating which it does not deserve
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (5/5): Disappointed - Not a lot really. It was billed as a two bed appt but in reality it was one bedroom with a second double bed in a already cramped space. It just spelt meanness to me. It was very dusty in the bedroom. Rethink this one ❗️could be perfect if your honest and call it as it is.
- Phil (10/5): Exceptional -

Peter even took us up to the hilltop ring fort on the property to take in the view. The little cabin was tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Would happily stay again.
- Sarah-jane (10/5): A wee gem in Nobber - Everything, a wee gem in the countryside. Fully equipped, pristine, and Peter, our host was a gentleman. A fantastic, cosy find for our family in an idyllic setting. Thank you Peter.

I loved coming in every night to the peaceful environment. We loved the host he was so accommodating and helpful. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our vacation. I can’t honestly think of anything that I would change.
- Andrelly (9/5): Superb - Location is great if you going to an event at cabra castle. It was clean apart cutlery and plates wasn’t very clean. Love the dog and other animal around. Curtain in the front door is too thin and give us no privacy.

- Catherine (10/5): We had a great stay at rathgillen cabin. - It was a self catering place, we had a little bother finding the place, but it was worth it when we found it. Perfect stay for my two boys they loved it. We will definitely be back to stay. There was nothing really I didn't dislike about the place, it ticked all the boxes for us.
- Darja (10/5): Exceptional - Cute and cosy place, the kindest host ever. It was perfect for our overnight stay, the beds are comfortable and the location is really peaceful. It was easy to arrive there and the location is great if you are exploring the Boyne Valley. Toys for the little one were an unexpected surprise, he didn't want to go home.
- Donna (9/5): Superb - Spotless and quiet
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - Cosy & comfortable 👌
Cabin had everything we needed, we travel alot over Ireland and have to say this is up there as being one of the best stays yet. On what was a cold and frosty evening, the cabin was warm on arrival. We will definitely be back
- Claire (10/5): cute cosy with everything you’d need - the cabin is really cute, very cosy and great value. it was ideal for our family of 4 for a night to avoid a long early drive, we had time to enjoy the cabin in the morning, had a walk around the farm, cooked a breakfast and went to a nearby wedding with no stress. It would work as a base for a longer stay also as it has everything you might need.
p.s. Peter you were right about the soup!! n/a i liked it all
- Seejal (9/5): A tiny yet cost place with all amenities including safe parking just in front of the cabin. - Owner is very friendly and hassle free (early) check-in. Beautiful doggy “Patch” gave a warm welcome and demanded some well deserved pets. The location is quiet and peaceful. It’s a self catering cosy stay with a small kitchen, bathroom/toilet, a double bed and a bunk single bed on top + a separate tiny room with double bed. There’s a smart tv with WiFi too. Bedsheets/duvets didn’t look like it was changed after the previous guests stayed but there were some throws which I used to cover. Kettle needs a replacement as the inside was bad. However, a nice cosy stay which can easily hold a family of 4 or 4 adults too. Will be back again.
