• Valentina_C_24 (7/5): Comodo per chi cerca il mare - Ottima struttura per chi vuole andare al mare. E' molto vicina alla spiaggia e ha a disposizione un parcheggio. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili e ci hanno aiutato al nostro arrivo. La camera non era troppo grande ma confortevole e con un piccolo terrazzo. Il bagno della camera andrebbe sistemato e curato meglio, allo stesso modo anche la biancheria messa a disposizione.

• Merethe Christensen (7/5): Small room, but close to the beach - The room and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable. There were an outdoor balcony with a table and chairs. The room was very small. Almost no space for our suitcases. There were no seating possibilities indoors, except from the bed. The refrigerstor was very small, and there were no cups, glasses, plates or cutlery in the room. The owner were hard to find upon arrival and for the room payment. The communication on booking.com pages was a bit slow. The room was a bit overpriced.

• Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional - The owners are the nicest people!! It was just such a lovely atmosphere. The location is just steps away from the beach. There are also many restaurants around. Just 10 min or so down the road are some really great ones. The room is large, clean and we had a partial view of the sea from the balcony! The breakfast, for only 6 Euro, was delicious and filling. We had eggs, sausage, toast, a type of fried dough, tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese. Added bonus, there is an elevator! Parking also available on site. I will definitely come back here my next time in Himare!

Something special/rare for the albanian riviera was the elevator. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended. The shower area was on the small side. And the bathroom gets wet after the shower. Something very common in Albania

The apartment was great, very clean and very convenient being only 1 min from the beach Parking on site was a bonus. • Mateusz (10/5): Exception host, over the top room service, situated in the perfect part Himarë - Himarë has 3 sections: 1. A crowded and noisy one with lots of restaurants and shops, 2. A quiet one with close to no shops and overpriced restaurants 3. And one in the middle - which was PERFECT for us. The owner is always smiling, extremely nice, helpful and friendly - a true golden soul. The room service is very polite and nice and they clean your room EVERY DAY :o. The parking has a lot of space to maneuver and is placed between two buildings. The view on the construction site just in front of the balcony was messing with the overall decorum but it's only temporary and not under the influence of the host.

• Stephen (9/5): A lovely guest house with super helpful staff. - Everyone involved with Sunflower Guest house were SO helpful. From Niki, the owner messaging us in advance of our arrival that she couldn't be there to meet us, but telling us who would, to all the staff on site. Special mention goes to Nikki's mother, who made us coffee and cake in the morning after we told her we would be leaving before their normal breakfast times (she offered to make breakfast anyway) and was incredibly helpful when it looked like there might be complications in us settling our bill. We only stayed one night en route to Tirana, but I'd happily go back. It may not be the fanciest hotel, but it is well run, and literally one minute's walk to a beautiful stretch of beach, and ten minutes walk to the 'main strip' of Himare. Thank you everyone involved! No issues at all. It is not the fanciest of hotels but I was not expecting that. We had a comfortable room, with wifi and a fridge in a fantastic location - what more do you need? :)

• Franc (2/5): Just some place to quickly finish the day. - The rooms are close to the beach. There were daily cleanups, even though I am not sure if those are to cleanup or check if the air conditioner is on, and turn that off. The location was difficult to find. The woman I spoke to on the phone didn't care to come out in the street and help me find it. Had to go in a wrong parallel road, where I bumped the car in rocks. Free parking, meant that the parking could be used by random people. So there were no free spots when I was there. Had to move around the narrow space to just stop in some corner, and scratched the car. The bathroom was very small, and when you sat on the toilet, you had no space on the right due to the wall, and the face pretty much is in the sink, which in itself had an awful smell, I guess due to the whatever old installation there is. Shower head and sink faucet had buildup and hard water spots, so didn't really fell comfortable touching things in the bathroom. Things in the room were cheap: Bed with no headrest, so the pillow could fall out, Small TV I guess messed up electric installations of the TV set and digital receiver where I got a small electric shock Cheap refrigerator, which was not only small but noisy in the night Cheap air conditioners, Fuego, the cheapest, which are a chinese brand that builds only for Albania, through a local dealer, Neptun, which meant that when the neighbor turned it on, you couldn't sleep with the door open due to the noise of the AC. And the air conditioner had some sort of circuit related to the window door, which when opened, the air conditioner disconnected. I don't know how the installation for that works, but hopefully it's safe. Some sort of doors/windows to separate your part of the porch from the neighbors, even though they were open below, and if something fell to you there, it went on the neighbor's part, but yeah, just a cheap solution. Worst of all, sound-proofing. Haven't ever had that sort of thing. You heard neighbors next to you and people in the corridors, I guess worse than face to face, due to the echo.
• Hilal (10/5): Great place with a great host - The host was very friendly, and offered us some homemade cake which was nice. The room was great, good size and good facilities. Balcony with the clothes drying rack was really useful. The location is great, it is a 3-5 min walk to the beach and there are restaurants nearby. It was fairly quiet at night, and there are shutters on the windows if you need total darkness to sleep! The optional breakfast was delightful - very good value for money for what you get.

• Catalin (9/5): Superb - Very good placement, near the beach. You cross the street and you arrive to the beach. The personal was excellent, they were so kind with us. The breakfast was so delicious and fresh made. They have a big yard in front of the hotel were you can park your car. Overall 10/10 The location is a little bit hard to find. They sould put on the enterance a sign with the hotel - not directly on the stairs like they already have. To make an idea, the location of the hotel is in the back of an restaurant and the acces street is between 2 restaurants. If you follow up the gps from google maps/waze - they will guide you on a street nearby the hotel

• Camilla (10/5): Cozy place near the beach - We loved staying here. The family hosting is super nice and welcoming, they offer you breakfast at a cheap cost. The rooms are lovely with a balcony, and you’re literally 1 minute away from the beach and the restaurants. Communication was great, I also got some recommendations for trips!

• Anonymous (1/5): We were not comfortable all through our stay here. - They gave coffee and cake as breakfast for the first morning. Beach is not far but you don’t get a seat from the hotel so we had to pay those that had seats at the beach. Getting the property location was difficult. The bedsheet was stained with blood, rooms full of flies, no toiletries except one tissue paper for the two nights and handwash. Water was smelling like fish water, room was having a bad odour too. We had to buy water for bath as the running water was smelling. They have a main control for AC that will turn it off in the early hours of the morning and it will come On only at 12midnight (12am). I will never come back to this property. They gave us an empty flies repellent when I complained about the flies

• Haya (1/5): Disappointment - One of the most inconsiderate staff I’ve ever met in my life, a small incident happened from my side (spilling a bottle of wine on the pillow and the bed sheets) as a respect for the place i got detergent and i washed them in the bathtub and was surprised with the color of the water turning into black .. dirty black color .. as any normal person would do i called the property manager to show her the color of the water, instead of checking the dirtiness and handling the incident in a proper way she called her mom (the one responsible for cleaning) and they both snapped at me and started shouting in an insane way inside the property that I payed money for, justifying their shouting by saying that how dare me accuse them for being dirty and that i ruined the pillows and I shouldn’t have cleaned it myself and i should pay for the pillows I damaged. So as an ending to the issue, i got yelled at inside the property, payed 20€ for 2 pillows and literally got kicked out from the room before the checkout by 20 mins and lastly the father was cursing me while i was taking my car and leaving the property. Such a humiliation, disrespect and lack of management. If you cant handle your guest during an issue then close your business instead of humiliating them.
